But a fist suddenly fell, stopping Genom.
"Bang!"
"Ow!"
Accompanied by the heavy pounding, Genom held his head, crouching on the ground.
"You’re the awful one here," Carol said, standing behind Genom, clenching her fists and speaking coldly. "After all this, you still dare to use magic here? Are you stupid?"
"Miss Carol..."
Genom turned, tears welling up in his eyes, and looked at Carol.
"I’ve said it, don’t call Miss." Carol emotionlessly rejected Genom’s address, and then turned to Shane and rica, "I must have told you many tis not to do anything suspicious, haven’t I?"
Carol’s remark was clearly aid at Shane.
Without a doubt, Carol was blaming both Genom and Shane.
Of course, Shane wasn’t going to admit it.
"That’s an interesting thing to say," Shane spread his hands innocently, "All I did was ask rica to take for a walk around the place. Does that count as doing sothing suspicious?"
With that, Genom imdiately sprung up.
"Liar! You clearly lured rica away!"
Genom angrily accused Shane’s actions.
Shane just laughed.
"Let ask you, have you ever seen anyone abduct soone then bring them back?" Shane looked at Genom as if looking at an idiot, and said calmly, "It was obviously because you saw rica and happily strolling around, got jealous, and attacked us without a second thought. That’s why I had to take rica and run."
"You...!" Genom pointed at Shane, his face livid with rage.
No helping it.
Shane had once again used his Unique Skill—[Bla-shifting].
This ability caused Genom serious emotional damage.
"Mr. Shane, Genom, please stop arguing."
Seeing Genom about to explode and Shane all smug and ready to retort, rica quickly intervened.
Carol sighed, looking helpless like a teacher faced with two troublemaking students.
As for the Elf Corps’ Elf Mages, they naturally exchanged puzzled glances.

"Was rica really abducted by that alien man, or did Genom actually get jealous?"
"I think that alien man is right; if he wanted to abduct rica, why bring her back?"

Genom nearly choked on his rage.

On the frozen street, the outburst of the Elf girl echoed.

Genom not only got blad by Shane but ended up losing everything.
After all, without her, Shane and rica wouldn’t have run away to be alone together.
rica was devoured clean by so brute, all thanks to this hot-tempered Elf girl.
