Capítulo 1143: Chapter 1001: You May Leave

Undoubtedly, at this very mont, the focus of all life in the entire world was on one thing.

That was the hero standing in the void, at the center of all the world’s top powerhouses.

He was rely floating there, yet no one dared to take their eyes off him.

Or rather, everyone forgot that they should look away, that they should focus their attention on the enemies on the battlefield.

Even Danass’s gaze never left Shane for even a mont.

Of course, the newly born demon wasn’t attracted by Shane’s extraordinary presence but seed to want to see through him at this very mont, his eyes full of sharpness.

“Danass…”

The princess standing beside Danass uttered a voice filled with apprehension.

“I know.” Danass reached out instinctively, wiped his forehead, and found cold sweat flowing down, then said, “This man has undergone an astonishing change that we couldn’t foresee.”

This was certain.

The current Shane was definitely not the Shane from before.

Though Shane before made Danass and the others wary, it was not to the extent of breaking into a cold sweat instinctively like now.

“Perhaps he has successfully taken that step.” Danass wiped away the cold sweat, giving a helpless smile, “I originally planned to end everything before he took that step, but was I still a step too late?”

The princess’s expression turned sowhat unpleasant.

“Has he really transcended?”

The princess couldn’t dare to confirm, nor believe it.

The uncertainty arose because, though Shane exuded an astonishing presence all over, not a trace of aura leaked, making it impossible to gauge his current level.

The disbelief stemd from the fact that if he had truly taken that step, it would an that this hero, in just one year, had gone from a Level 1 rookie to the pinnacle all strong individuals longed to reach and even didn’t dare to hope for.

The princess was unwilling to believe this.

After all, it had taken her a whole millennium of planning to reach this point.

Even Danass, who was born with clear awareness and was forced to plan ticulously under constant pressure, had spent several decades reaching this step.

And Shane?

One year!

Just one year!

How could the princess be willing to believe this?

She knew that the hero she had deeply admired since childhood, the one she still thought of fondly even now, took a full ten years to reach this step.

Was Shane ten tis more exceptional than him?

The princess bit her lip.

In contrast, Danass gave a bitter smile.

“Whether he has taken that step or not, one thing is certain.” Danass said, “That is, the power he has displayed is no less than anyone present.”

“Including .”

That’s how it was.

The ability to dissolve Artemis’ self-destruction in an instant and to make multiple transcend level powerhouses retreat with a shout was sothing Danass admitted he did not possess.

The Goddess of Fate might be able to do it, but even she would have to use the near-omnipotent miracle of her own Power of Destiny to accomplish the sa feat.

Yet Shane did it with just a shout.

This forced Danass to prepare for the worst.

“Just as expected back then, this hero, whose potential surpasses Mithra, would once transcended, completely surpass the Goddess of Fate Lidas and the strongest hero Mithra.”

Danass regained his calm.

“Prepare to retreat, Princess, confronting him has beco too risky, it’s not worth it.”

Danass thus unhesitatingly revised his original plan.

Originally, Danass had intended to duel with Shane, to let him witness his unexpectedly awakened power, and to test his own current strength.

Who would’ve thought, Shane’s transformation was even more excessive.

“Understood.”

The princess had no objections either.

No choice.

From the start, the princess was wary of Shane’s Holy Sword, cautious of its restraint against her, entirely unwilling to confront Shane.

Now, Shane had grown stronger than anticipated, suspected of having taken that final step to beco an existence surpassing the Goddess of Fate Lidas and the strongest hero Mithra, making the princess even more reluctant to face him.

No one knows the power of the Holy Sword better than her.

No one knows the strength of Mithra better than her.

Yet Shane could surpass and outrank even that person.

Given that, naturally, the princess had no desire to stubbornly provoke Shane.

Therefore, Danass and the princess t each other’s gaze and simultaneously ordered their respective armies to retreat.

“Roar!”

“Huff!”

As if receiving so command, the agitated undead began to withdraw shakily from the battlefield.

A host of magic lives similarly seed to receive so directive, covertly guiding the refined demons and demon infants to pull back.

None of this managed to catch the attention of the Divine Race and the Elf Clan, whose focus was entirely captured by Shane.

However…

“Already planning to leave, young master?”

Shane clearly noticed this, turned his head, and looked towards Danass, an enigmatic smile playing on his lips.

“I haven’t even figured out what happened, nor is there anyone to explain it to , yet you’re leaving just like that? That’s not very good, is it?”

Shane’s words finally drew the present crowd’s attention to the new Primordial Demon in action.

In response, Danass didn’t panic and rely offered a gentle smile toward Shane.

“As you can see, we are just here to offer a challenge.” Danass quietly explained, “A challenge to our own potential, and a challenge to test the capabilities of the two major forces determining this world.”

Hearing this, Shane curled his lips.

“If you’re here to invade, just say it. Do you think you’re disguising the fact of invasion by sounding so literary?”

Did they really think he couldn’t guess what was happening?

Although Shane truly didn’t know why, during his transcendence, the Elf Country suddenly beca a battlefield and the newly born [Primordial Demon] ca in force, surprising him greatly when he awoke. Astonished that he hadn’t detected any movents, it didn’t an Shane couldn’t guess the beginning and end of events.

If that weren’t the case, Shane wouldn’t have made such a powerful entrance, directly suppressing the entire battlefield.

Indeed, the war had started, a fact as solid as iron.

However…

“Even so, you don’t seem to have much fighting spirit.”

Danass squinted, looking at Shane who, from beginning to end, emitted no discernible aura, only an astounding presence—half perplexed, half surprised.

“I thought knowing the current situation, you would desperately want to make a move against us.”

Danass was constantly on guard, even had two Undead Knights protect the Princess, while the Four Demon Level beings held their breath in anticipation. Yet they couldn’t sense a trace of hostility or fighting spirit from Shane.

What did this indicate?

It indicated the other party didn’t quite want to engage.

And indeed it was so.

“How should I put it?”

Shane raised his hand, examining it as if savoring sothing, and after a mont of silence, he gradually spoke.

“Maybe it’s because I’m on a different level now. Things I used to worry about how to deal with, now I find myself less concerned about.”

As Danass said, based on Shane’s original personality, knowing the newly born [Primordial Demon] attacked and Danass, the mastermind, had finally erged, he would absolutely not miss this great opportunity.

If it were Shane from a few days ago, he would have undoubtedly acted imdiately, first to disable, then terrify or even completely eliminate Danass to avert future troubles.

But prior to today, Shane had already decided sothing.

And that sothing required Danass’s involvent.

In other words…

“I more or less know what you want to do.”

Shane raised his gaze, observing Danass with an uncommonly calm face.

“Coincidentally, part of your goal overlaps with what I want to do.”

“For the sake of my goal, this ti, I’ll let you off.”

“You may go.”

Shane then uttered a statent that left everyone speechless yet on the edge.

At that mont, not only Danass and the Princess but even Nadura and the others were stunned.

“Shane!”

“What are you saying?”

Nadura and Artemis couldn’t help but cry out.

“Master!”

“Mr. Xi’en!”

“Why…!?”

You Lin, rica, and Sophie were also completely taken aback.

No one could have anticipated that Shane, having erged powerfully and suppressed everything, would eventually intend to let the greatest enemy go.

Especially Artemis, who originally planned to fight to the death, was sowhat agitated, wanting to break away from Nadura and protest.

To this, Shane said nothing, rely sweeping his gaze across everyone present.

That glance made everyone’s heart tremble uncontrollably, ceasing all movent instinctively.

Artemis, too, stopped as Shane glanced at her.

Under such circumstances, Shane spoke one sentence.

“Trust .”

Shane’s unexplainably calm words made everyone exchange looks.

Danass also remained silent for a while before asking solemnly, “Are you sure?”

The demon no longer bothered with pretending formality.

Evidently, even this shrewd newborn demon couldn’t quite grasp Shane’s thoughts.

Logically speaking, as the mastermind of the war and head of the newly born [Primordial Demon], Shane had no reason to let him go.

Yet now, Shane was doing just that.

And was his reason truly that?

Did he really know what Danass intended to do?

Danass’s gaze towards Shane grew increasingly sharp.

Shane rely tossed out these words:

“You don’t have to leave if you don’t want to.”

As Shane said this, his figure suddenly appeared right in front of Danass.

“I wouldn’t mind keeping you here for good.”

A hand, under Danass’s gaze, was pressed against his chest.

“Boom——!”

With a thunderous explosion, the scene erupted suddenly.
