Capítulo 1068: Chapter 933: Who the Hell Do You Think You Are?
This characteristic isn’t exactly a trait of upper-level magic, but rather just an interdiate-level magic trait.
However, once “marked” by this trait, the user of that magic can sense the location of the mark at any ti.
Originally, this was a magic used to prevent getting lost and to explore dungeons, vast forests, and canyons.
But if the Skill of [Magic·Grant] is high enough, then the “mark” can be used on people.
As long as this magic is used, and a “mark” is planted on a person, unless the “mark” is removed, the user of the magic can always sense its location, or at least its direction.
Generally speaking, anyone with sharp senses, sensitivity to magic power, and so degree of proficiency in magic would find discovering this “mark” not difficult.
Therefore, trying to use this magic on people and make it effective isn’t easy.
“And yet, you fell for it, do you know why?”
Shane smiled more and more sardonically at Gewura.
“Because you pride yourself as the king of the Beastman Race, having all the specialties of the beastn, you are overly reliant and confident in your sense of sll and hearing, habitually using your five senses, and your reaction to magic power and magic is much weaker than others.”
Shane had anticipated this self-conceited mindset and condition of the Beastman King, therefore, upon eting Gewura and preparing for action, he first applied the “mark” Grant Magic on Gewura to prevent his escape, just in case.
In other words…
“From the mont you ran out showing off in front of , you were destined to not escape from my grasp.”
“Got it?”
“Beastman King?”
With that, Shane extended a hand, allowing a chain to fall into his grasp.
“Huh!”
In the next mont, as Shane swung the chain, it transford into a long whip, sliced through the air, and with a whooshing sound, landed heavily on Gewura.
“Bang!”
The heavy sound of the chain striking flesh echoed.
“Aggh!”
Gewura couldn’t help but scream in pain.
Shane, however, did not stop and instead swung the chain over and over, allowing it to relentlessly hit Gewura.
Soon, dull thuds rang out continuously, resonating with Gewura’s painful cries in this space.
Shane tortured Gewura without rcy, without reservation, without compassion, and without hesitation, making Gewura’s body gradually beco bruised and battered.
“Wait… Wait!”
Gewura finally cried out.
Shane didn’t ignore him and finally stopped.
“Scared?” Shane said nonchalantly: “This is just the beginning, and you can’t take it anymore?”
Seeing Shane’s calm expression, Gewura endured the severe pain in his body and the fear in his heart and cried out.
“Let’s talk!”
Gewura sought the right to negotiate.
“Talk?” Shane glanced at him, chuckling lightly: “At this point, what is there left to talk about?”
Indeed.
Shane had long etched Gewura, the Beastman King, onto his death list.
Gewura wished to kill Shane as quickly as possible.
They had already faced off in the world’s interior and confird each other’s intent to kill.
In the palace, their killing intent was palpable and uncompromising.
At least, it was then.
Now, naturally, Gewura couldn’t stand by and wait for death; he would struggle no matter what.
Even though he felt extre humiliation and hatred, to survive, Gewura chose to lower his noble head.
“To you, I still hold value!” Gewura claid vigorously: “I can provide information on the new [Primordial Demon], including the hiding place of the current leader, Danass!”
This caught Shane’s eyebrow.
Seeing this, Gewura seized the opportunity.
“You desire to end the war, don’t you? To defeat Danass and his new [Primordial Demon] to restore world peace, right?”
“I can offer you information about them!”
“Compared to my life, such matters should be more important, right?”
Gewura really put in all his effort.
Originally, he wasn’t soone so eloquent, much less soone who would humble himself for his life’s safety.
But now, just to survive Shane’s hands, he endured and did things he never imagined.
This made him feel very uncomfortable, extrely uncomfortable.
But admittedly, his words had so value.
“Indeed, compared to your miserable life, matters regarding the new [Primordial Demon] are obviously more important.”
Shane casually admitted this point.
This left Gewura feeling very complicated, unsure whether to feel happy or angry.
Happiness because he convinced Shane.
Anger because his life was so belittled, deed inferior to re information.
How could self-proclaid noble Gewura not feel complicated?
If not for being in dire straits, he would have swiftly struck back.
Now, to survive, he could only endure it.
“Release , release , and I will give you the information.”
Gewura, while hiding the violence and hatred in his eyes, softly pleaded.
