The encampnt located below the Qingfeng Edge's mountain gate had now descended into utter chaos.

The changes in the heavenly phenona in the vicinity of the Sword Array were clearly visible even from the center of Qingfeng Edge, let alone from their location, which was rely a few miles away.

When Wang Anfeng once fought with an elder from the Immortal Pavilion, the manifestation of the Azure Dragon Soaring to the Sky from the Bagua Poison Formation had already been enough to envelop this area, so what of now?

It was as if the earth and mountains themselves were shaking; most of those who practiced swordsmanship here were but ordinary swordsn of Jianghu who, unable to find a way to enter the ranks, had co to this place. Where had they ever seen such a commotion?

The only sound left in their ears was the solemn ringing of sword cries.

Most had already collapsed to the ground, unable to move; only a few elders, having spent a lifeti in dedicated and arduous cultivation and who possessed no small amount of skill, were still able to hold on.

The strongest among them had already crossed the Longn, stepping into the realm of Middle Third Rank, and could truly be called a master. He heard the anguished cries around him and clenched his sword in his right hand, without drawing it from its scabbard; yet an intense qi chanism already erged, able to shatter the vigorous qi coming directly at him with his own qi.

The clash of montums created an even greater impact.

The old man's hair and beard were both white, and now they danced in the wind. Intense qi from the collision and compression sliced the ground, carving hideous fissures, but he paid it no attention; his eyes widened, intently watching the direction from which the sword qi was coming.

The original illusion array of this place had already shattered under the excessively turbulent sword qi.

When that massive Green Rock Giant Sword appeared before everyone's eyes, they heard the chains wailing and saw the sword qi piercing through the clouds; with the naked eye, they could see the waves of qi rushing towards the clouds above, like a giant whale drawing water or a Kunpeng supported by the wind, vast and boundless.

The incredibly fierce sword qi, sword intent, and sword montum were no longer hidden, and were now fully exposed to everyone present.

The hands of the elder, whose cultivation had reached Sixth Rank, trembled as he gripped his sword, and tears began flowing.

He wept bitterly.

There were a total of sixty-four people here.

Sixty retreated, three hesitated to move forward, while only one cried out in loud sobs.

That person was already white-haired.

In the sky, a bright sword light tore through the clouds as it passed.

At this mont, atop the Green Rock Giant Sword, the sword intent left by the forefather of Qingfeng Edge soared, stirring the great forces of heaven and earth, and reached its peak. The accumulated sword intent and montum pressured space itself, with the visible white waves of qi resembling the grand tidal bore of the Qiantang River sweeping across.

Trees snapped in half, rocks crumbled, as if mythical exotic beasts were roaring towards them; and among all the people, the most skilled in martial arts now seed as if in a trance, walking towards the oncoming sword qi as if seeking death itself.

A young man who had been previously intercepted by Wang Anfeng was nearby, and upon seeing this, he instinctively wanted to grab the elder who had just saved his life, to pull him out of that bewitched state.

But as soon as he looked up, he saw the pure white sword qi that could slice through tal and stone tearing through with overwhelming montum. His heart shuddered, his hand barely lifted before retracting, and he quickly turned and fled in the opposite direction from the sword qi, his face stricken with terror.

The sword qi closed in in an instant.

Just when he closed his eyes, awaiting death, in a flash, he heard a sonorous sword cry ring out.

Above the sky, the streak of sword light that had already passed over this area suddenly bent back, arriving in an instant.

The young man trembled, mustered the courage to turn back and look, but saw a beautiful woman dressed in white standing in front of the elder, her expression cold and indifferent, her right hand holding a longsword unsheathed three inches, which blocked the incoming Sword Qi, not allowing it to advance even a fraction of an inch.

The next mont, taking advantage of the situation, she drew her sword and slashed, and the Sword Qi, which had been building up due to the Qingfeng Edge Stone Sword, was directly severed in an instant, spreading past either side of those present. In no ti, the buildings previously erected on this site were sliced apart and collapsed with a thunderous crash.

Gong Yu raised her hand to sheathe her sword, the slightly slender longsword returning to its scabbard in her palm.

The sword's cry was a clear and distant hum.

"This place is dangerous, retreat imdiately," the woman said, her voice already extrely indifferent, not even turning back to glance at the people she had saved.

Her eyes were fixed on the entangled sword montum ahead. She was an exceedingly beautiful woman who never wore makeup, her temperant as cold as a block of ice, but now in her eyes, a different kind of fla was igniting, burning brilliantly.

As she observed the sword montum before her, which originated from the sa lineage as the Swordsmanship she had learned, yet remained unattainably high, Gong Yu's heart surged, almost uncontrollably, yet even at this ti, her deanor remained as calm as ice, choosing not to say anything more to the people behind her.

She held her sword, slowly stepping forward.

Around her body, wisps of deep blue light shimred into existence.

The Sword Qi stirred up by the sword montum was terrifyingly sharp, but it couldn't penetrate within three inches of her, like a Sword Immortal who wields her sword to cleave whales in the sea, composed and resolute, heading towards the storm whipped up by the Sword Qi.

The elder was half-lying on the ground behind her.

He had been too close and was overwheld by the aftermath of the sweeping Sword Qi, falling directly to the ground with his brow fiercely striking the ground, creating a large swath of blood.

He wiped the blood from his brow, looked up in that direction, and felt his heart beating like a war drum, pumping blood continuously to every part of his body.

So hot...

Even though it was the cold winter season, he couldn't help loosening his collar.

Then he clumsily got up, right hand gripping his own sword, supporting his body as he headed towards the dangerous Sword Array. As the young man tried to help him, the elder forcefully pushed his hand aside with a slap.

The elder, whose beard and hair were all white and who had been quite gentle just so days before, now glared fiercely and scolded him:

"Scram!"

That imposing manner made the young man's heart tremble fiercely, and he stood still, not daring to move, just watching the elder, who seed to be courting death, using the longsword in his hand to support himself, stumbling along behind Gong Yu, walking towards the place where the sword's montum soared to the skies.

The palms of the young man's hands unconsciously clenched tight.

Thoughts of what the young man in the green robe had said to him earlier surfaced in his mind.

"In fact, if brother could rein in his thoughts a bit, perhaps he could make more progress in the martial arts."

With gritted teeth, the young man took a step forward, watching the sword montum that seed to tear heaven and earth apart, feeling a stir in his heart, yet ultimately unable to advance even half a step further.

When he had left ho, he had held a sword in his hand.

Now, that sword had fallen to the ground.

Surrounding him was a scene of complete disarray, yet there lay a dashing, youthful-looking sword -- one that would suit a young man very well, but the one standing beside it was no longer a youth.

His appearance was exceedingly disheveled.

Wang Anfeng retreated backwards, but the sharp aura on his body grew increasingly evident; in his hand, he held the wooden sword that was on the cusp of reaching the category of a divine weapon, its blade already filled with the essence of thunder. His eyes sparkled slightly, firmly fixated on the female swordsman from the past.

The latter slightly raised her longsword.

Wang Anfeng's breathing hitched, and the sensation of sharpness in the wooden sword he held beca even more apparent. It was as if what he clutched was no longer just a sword but the keen essence of refined gold. He took a deep breath; for the first ti since entering the sword array, he did not step back but stepped forward instead.

His right foot gently touched the ground.

In front of the young man, visible ripples of energy surged, his sword slightly lifted, and though he had not yet made a move, a warm voice sounded by his ear, and at the sa ti, it seed as if soone laid a gentle hand upon his shoulder.

"Do not unleash the thunderous sword today."

Wang Anfeng's expression changed slightly and said,

"Taoist?"

In Shaolin Temple, a gentle-looking white-haired Taoist leaned his hand on his chin, his eyes closed as if he had drifted into sleep, his breathing even and rhythmic. The scholar in the green robe glanced at the Taoist with an indifferent expression.

However, his gaze lingered slightly upon passing the teardrop mole.

The gentle voice of the Taoist rang in Wang Anfeng's ears, saying,

"Do not be surprised, I was born into the Taoist sect, so knowing a few tricks is not strange. Although in this situation, I'm unable to lend a hand, giving you a little help is still manageable."

"But, Taoist..."

The Ancient Taoist murmured with a smile,

"The illusion array has been broken here, anything you do is clearly visible from outside."

"You wouldn't want the fact that you possess a divine weapon to be exposed, would you?"

Wang Anfeng was slightly taken aback, thinking of the consequences should the existence of the divine weapon be exposed. After a pause, he said,

"Then, junior will first thank the senior..."

"It's nothing..."

With a gentle laugh, while no one was behind him, Wang Anfeng felt another force erge, montarily suppressing the Thunder Vigor within him, and even the wood sword in his hand, which qualified as a divine weapon, was left with a pure sword montum.

At that mont, the external appearance was shed, and what he wielded was a divine weapon vibrantly brought to life. Wang Anfeng took a deep breath, inevitably thinking of that most brilliant and dazzling sword he had witnessed at the foot of Heavenly Sword Mountain.

After witnessing it firsthand, he had stood in contemplation at the peak of Heavenly Sword Mountain, accumulating his thoughts and reflections, forging his cultivation through countless trials, until, at this mont, it burst forth in full radiance.

With his eyes slightly open, Wang Anfeng seed to understand sothing, yet also as if he understood nothing at all.

Holding the wooden sword, he took a step forward, raised his hand, and in what seed a thoroughly unhurried move, even sowhat casually, he swung his sword.

The sword humd softly.

A point of cold light shone forth.

Gong Yu and the disheveled elder stepped into the sword array, watching that point of cold light thrust forward, aid at the Green Rock Giant Sword.

The glimr of cold light gradually dispersed.

One into ten, ten into a hundred.

In the blink of an eye, it turned into a sky full of sword lights, covering everything.

The sword light suddenly coalesced and stabbed straight ahead.

Upon the Green Rock Giant Sword, which was of supre stature in Gong Yu's eyes, there appeared a new sword mark.

Like a great whale swallowing water, the Heaven and Earth Phenona that swept the heavens ca to an abrupt halt; the clouds scattered, the sword montum disintegrated, disappearing without a trace, and the giant sword still stood towering like a mountain, unmoved by the winds, flanked by eight chains in all directions.

Between heaven and earth, silence was restored.

Only a single person stood holding a longsword at a slant.

Gong Yu's hand instinctively tightened around the handle of her sword, while the disheveled elder burst into laughter, which soon turned into loud weeping, as if he had gone mad.

The Ancient Taoist, smiling, offered a distant salute toward the peak of Qingfeng Edge, then faded away into invisibility.

And in the Shaolin Temple, the white-haired Taoist seed to have rely taken a short nap, and opened his eyes.
