Li Wu held a pot of wine, leaned against the open bamboo window, frowned, and muttered to himself:

"What on earth am I thinking?"

"Once you're gone, even before taking the position, all sorts of strange occurrences and beings erge. In the manor, the four deputy masters respect you, probably because they respect your son. The bond of respect diminishes over ti, and they likely don't see your grandson in a favorable light. Now, bypassing your children, you bequeath the estate to a girl you picked up."

The old man took a sip of wine and sighed:

"Can this girl really hold down this Jianghu for you?"

Raising his eyes again, he saw Dongfang Ximing lying spread-eagle on the bed. The old man chuckled, shook his head, and paid no more attention.

Tang Huixin invited Wang Anfeng inside, where a pot of wine was already ward. Xie Zhenghao bowed with a smile, showing not a trace of discord, and the graceful woman, after Wang Anfeng sat down, stood up to pour him a cup of wine. Her fingers were delicate, lips akin to red vermilion, and as she moved, a faint fragrance lingered.

Then she brought out a zither, saying it would augnt the enjoynt of drinking.

Xie Zhenghao sat cross-legged on the ground, placing a sword on his knee, and said with a smile: "Tang Shii's zither music is exceptional, not inferior to One-Leaf Pavilion. This ti we are truly fortunate to hear it, though it's a pity, a pity indeed. Only two elders from One-Leaf Pavilion ca this ti, and we didn't get to hear the zither of its master's only daughter, who is equally talented and beautiful."

"A pity, truly a pity."

Xie Zhenghao shook his head repeatedly with a face full of regret.

Tang Huixin glanced at him reproachfully, her fair hands resting on the zither strings, and the music began.

Wang Anfeng took a sip of yellow wine, his right hand tapping softly on the table in rhythm with the zither music. The tune was lodious, and gradually, his tapping slowed, eyelids closing. As the last note fell, his fingers rested on the table, unmoving, with even breaths.

Tang Huixin exhaled softly, a slight sweat appearing at her temples.

Xie Zhenghao opened his eyes, looked at the sleeping Wang Anfeng, and said: "Heh, daring not to use inner strength while listening to Shii's zither tune, it shows so courage. Perhaps he assus nothing untoward will happen in the First Estate."

"Though this place forbids killing, there are plenty of other thods..."

Tang Huixin exhaled a breath of white air, stepped forward, and placed her hand on Wang Anfeng's wrist. After concentrating for a mont, she showed delight, saying:

"Indeed..."

"It is a physique as pure as the Flawless Taoist Body of the Taoist Sect."

"As long as we can embed a 'shadow' of the Hall Master within his heart, he can beco the best puppet at present. The Hall Master is currently unwell, and encountering such a superior body is a credit to us."

"Unfortunately, the two found before, one with an Innate Taoist Body at the Taoist Sect's ancestral court, and those sent were kept by the Taoist Supre. And though the Weiming Sect disciple holds a trace of Heavenly Secrets, her lazy Taoist companion is quite difficult."

"Even Chang Wan failed."

Xie Zhenghao nodded knowingly, shedding his earlier frivolity, stood up voluntarily, and said: "If it weren't so, we wouldn't have been so pleased upon discovering this person. I'll project a shadow first, leaving an impression, and there're other thods for inner strength growth afterward."

"You protect ."

Tang Huixin nodded and said, "Be careful."

Xie Zhenghao stood before Wang Anfeng, took a deep breath, and appeared solemn.

He reached out to strike an acupoint, causing Wang Anfeng's eyes to open, losing focus, his last vestige of doubt evaporating, concentrating and transforming, his eyes gleaming with internal light, where, if closely inspected, a silhouette could be seen erging.

The fourth person in the room.

A strange chill filled the room, yet Tang Huixin and Xie Zhenghao felt relieved.

Almost imdiately upon the appearance of this silhouette, the subdued youth suddenly erupted.

The encircling Qi chanism seed to be ripped apart instantly, Xie Zhenghao and Tang Huixin's expressions changed drastically, their Qi chanisms erupted, but before they could draw their swords, two slender hands reached out, clutching their upper faces, shielding them with a layer of cause and effect inversion, blinding their eyes.

The person sitting at the table had already stood up.

Taking a step forward, pressing down on their faces, and smashed them to the ground without a hint of tenderness.

The Vajra Physique of Shaolin Temple needed no luck for breath regulation.

It was always in an extrely stable state, even while sleeping. The Vajra Physique, being stabbed with a dagger, typically results in the dagger getting blunted, aning that as long as the force couldn't overwhelm or match that of Shaolin martial artists, getting close to them usually only ends one way.

Except for poisoning, their strength hardly ever wanes.

The imnse brute force lifted the two martial artists, dispersing their Qi chanisms.

Accompanied by the explosive speed of the Divine Thieves Sect within a short distance, within rely three steps, the speed of their moves created a white Qi wave, the sharp sound of the Qi cloaked explosion reverberated unceasingly by their ears, then heavily descended.

In the instant they hit the ground, Wang Anfeng's inner power circulated with the Vigorous Qi of the Wudang Zixiao Palace.

No massive cracks appeared on the ground, nor did it collapse or tremble. Yet, the two martial artists, already at the Middle Third Rank, instantly turned pale, Tang Huixin falling into a coma due to internal injuries, Xie Zhenghao's Qi chanism shattered, with the inverted images in his eyes disappearing, he sat paralyzed, woeful and in disarray, with blood continually dripping from his mouth.

Struggling, he raised his head to see Wang Anfeng standing beside him.

The latter's fingers brushed across the zither strings, eyes cold, saying: "How fortunate."

"I too felt delighted upon seeing you."
