A circular, translucent barrier ford around Asher as he sat down with his legs crossed.

Asher felt so much pain that even his indifferent face showed lines forming on his forehead.
Asher's bone marrow went through massive changes as a black mana erupted around him, assimilating with the bone marrow tissue and changing it.

A chilling, light blue energy erupted and forced its way into Asher's Mana Heart, moving up towards his spinal cord to his brain. At the sa ti, a boiling red energy erged and moved towards his abdon, heading towards the blue energy.
Asher's brain was experiencing two polar energies that were not harming it, but the pain he was experiencing was too much. Asher thought the system didn't take his past life into account when it said he would need to endure pain, but he didn't know the system had warned him after carefully assessing him.
"ARRRRRRRghhhAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
Asher scread in pain for the 'second ti' in his life. He was no longer in a ditating position, but rolling on the floor and clutching his head so hard that blood started pouring out. He no longer maintained his indifferent expression as his eyes rolled back. His back arched off the floor and his toes ground against it.

Asher was still coughing up blood as he moved to sit on his bed. His mind was numb from what had just happened, and he didn't even hear the system notifications. His breathing was ragged.

Asher saw that his wounds around his head and face were healing. It seed that the pain he endured was worth it, especially considering his new regeneration rate. This type of healing was only found in B-Rank hunters and above, and Asher, who had just recently awakened at Rank G, was now capable of doing the sa.
In this world, hunters were ranked from G to SSS, with only 11 SSS-Rank hunters. They were ranked based on their ability to perform in similar Rank Dungeons and their Mana Core Rank. As you may have a Mana Core of Rank B but your combat ability and utility were taken into consideration while giving you your ranks.
After gathering his nerves, Asher called out to the system to check his new bloodline.
