Since the opponent has said these words, it ans he wants to have a good fight today.

Little did he know, this was exactly what Mu Yunchu had hoped for.

The thought that ordinary people must not see her powers, lest it cause a panic, was deeply ingrained in her mind, even making her hesitant to act.

If things turned out as he said, it would actually save her a lot of trouble.

Ah Ji stood opposite Mu Yunchu, and in front was his Lifebound Gu Worm, a smug sneer on his lips, and wild arrogance in his eyes.

Now, it’s not just about ruining his cherished work but also a struggle over which clan is stronger.

He wanted to record this battle for all the world to know one day.

His hands moved quickly in the air, ten fingers intertwining deftly, murmuring incantations to control the movents of the centipede.

Accompanied by a low growl, the centipede twisted its body, seemingly flaunting its strength.

Its entire body was covered with iron-like red scales, shimring with a sinister cold light under the illumination. Two enormous fangs were exposed, continuously dripping a foul-slling dark green liquid, corroding the ground beneath into bottomless pits upon contact.

This Gu Worm, raised by the Gu Master since it was young, was unlike the ones summoned before.

A semblance of gravity appeared on Mu Yunchu’s face.

She quickly drew the Peach Wood Sword she carried on her back, reciting incantations, the sword’s blade instantly emitted a faint golden glow. Ancient runes seed to faintly surface, exuding a powerful aura of intimidation.

anwhile, with her other hand, she pulled out a sheet of yellow talisman paper, the vermillion inscriptions on it flickering with a faint light.

The red centipede moved.

With a speed completely mismatched with its massive body, it lunged straight at Mu Yunchu.

The latter’s figure flickered, moving a few steps aside as lightly as willow fluff, deftly evading the attack. Following the montum, she flung the talisman paper in her hand toward the centipede, transforming into a fla heading straight for it.

Seeing this, Ah Ji reacted swiftly, sharply controlling the centipede’s body to twist and dodge the direct attack of the flas, but so still singed the scales, releasing an acrid stench.

A trace of surprise flashed in Ah Ji’s heart, but he still did not truly take Mu Yunchu seriously.

The centipede didn’t pause, rising to attack again. It leaped high, opening its gaping mouth, biting toward the top of Mu Yunchu’s head.

The latter flicked the Peach Wood Sword upward.

Ah Ji cursed under his breath, "Fool!"

"The scales of my centipede are extrely hard."

In his view, Mu Yunchu’s action was as futile as using an egg against a stone.

He almost imagined the scene of Mu Yunchu being swallowed alive.

However, in the next second, the centipede encountered a powerful resistance. Clearly just a slender wooden sword, yet it held back the centipede’s power.

The golden glow from the sword clashed with the centipede’s red scales, emitting a deafening friction sound, sparks flying.

Both were pushed back a few steps by the impact, but Mu Yunchu stabilized her stance more quickly, instantly gathering a mass of lightning in her palm.

She murmured softly, and the Palm Thunder flew like a teor, swiftly heading toward the centipede.

The latter wanted to dodge, only to find that the space around its body seed to be confined by so force, making its movents sluggish, even beyond Ah Ji’s control.

It struggled a great deal before breaking free.

However, it was too late.

In just a few seconds, the Palm Thunder accurately struck the centipede.

A violent explosion sounded, the centipede was blasted, scales flying everywhere, and a deep fissure appeared on its body. Its body swayed, clearly under great agony.

Ah Ji ignored this entirely.

Despite being astonished by Mu Yunchu’s strength, all his attention was on how to defeat her.

"Hmph."

Even if Ah Ji didn’t want to admit it, he was a little flustered now.

But unwillingness and a sliver of hope kept him pressing onward.

Ignoring the centipede’s pain, he forcibly commanded it again.

Mu Yunchu, too, didn’t plan to give them a break. Pouring all her Spiritual Power unreservedly into the sword.

In an instant, the golden radiance on the Peach Wood Sword intensified, like a blazing sun, blindingly bright.

She released her hand, the Peach Wood Sword soared in the air, and under her control, it cut toward the centipede’s head like a swimming dragon.

The latter sensed the threat of death, twisting and turning desperately, trying to evade. Yet the sword closely followed, precisely piercing into its tail.

anwhile, the Eight Diagrams Mirror that Mu Yunchu had taken out at so point emitted a dazzling light, resonating with the Peach Wood Sword, enveloping the centipede, giving it no escape.

The damage from both was imnse, enduring pain both on and around it, the centipede let out a series of piercing screams.

"Boom," its head slamd to the ground, shaking the surrounding earth.

It seed already on the brink of death.

This signified Ah Ji’s total defeat.

"No! This is impossible!" Ah Ji’s eyes widened, his face full of disbelief and jealous resentnt.

"You useless creature, get up now!"

He shouted.

Hearing this, the centipede tried to lift its head but could only fall back down.

Ah Ji was dumbfounded.

He had other ans.

But none as strong as his Lifebound Gu Worm.

"I actually lost to you?"

Mu Yunchu walked slowly up to him.

She never held a good impression of this man.

Whether using Gu Worms on ordinary people, disturbing the human order, or using ghosts to refine tools, all were improper.

So she coldly said, "This is where it ends for you."

The double entendre ant both the end of this battle and the end of his nefarious life.

Ah Ji looked at Mu Yunchu, pulling a twisted bitter smile at the corner of his mouth, squeezing out resentful words through gritted teeth, "Don’t get too proud."

Then, he suddenly seed to recall sothing, provocatively raising an eyebrow at Mu Yunchu, saying on purpose, "You want to save those people infected by my Gu Worms, don’t you?"

Seeing Mu Yunchu remain silent, he knew he guessed correctly.

The smile on his face widened, eyes filled with madness, even temporarily casting aside his own defeat.

"It’s impossible, no one but can undo it."

"Just watch as those people live neither as humans nor ghosts!"

"Hahaha..."

It seed he was certain Mu Yunchu wouldn’t do anything to him.

However, in the next second, Mu Yunchu stabbed his thigh with a blade.

"Ah!!!!"

The chilling sensation of the blade piercing through flesh, mixed with the gradually intensifying pain spreading through his body, made Ah Ji clutch his leg and howl.

He looked incredulously at the calm Mu Yunchu, "Are you crazy?"

"Didn’t you understand my words?"

"Understood." Mu Yunchu answered coolly.

Then she withdrew the blade and stabbed it into the other leg.

"Ahhhhh!!!"

At this mont, Ah Ji finally felt fear.

He looked in terror at the young woman before him, yet another face appeared in his mind.

"Madman, you’re all madn."

Mu Yunchu withdrew the blade again, calmly threatening, "If you don’t undo the Gu Poison, I’ll keep stabbing."

Ah Ji swallowed hard.

He looked into Mu Yunchu’s eyes, clearly knowing she wasn’t bluffing.

Just as he was about to speak, a familiar voice suddenly sounded from afar.

"Hold on."

Ah Ji could feel several people breaking through the barriers he set, gradually approaching him.

"Young lady, spare him."
