Taking advantage of the fact that Agnes Tachyon and Sugar Lights were still in a daze, Dream Weaver simply pulled a mory storage drive out of her backpack—though, in reality, she'd summoned it from her system inventory.

She pressed the drive into Agnes Tachyon's hand, then picked up Sugar Lights' laptop and gestured toward it.

"Co on, plug it in!"

Agnes Tachyon, having no clue what was happening, followed Dream Weaver's lead on pure instinct.

She unplugged the data cable connected to the chanical Uma Musu and slotted the device, which looked like a solid-state drive, into the laptop.

The mont the drive connected, a flood of inexplicable mories suddenly surged into Agnes Tachyon's mind. They were blurry, yet she felt a strange certainty that she could call upon them and view them clearly whenever she wished.

"This is... what is this?"

She delved into the palace of her mind, and as she discovered formulas for concocting dicines from an entirely different world, the look of bewildernt in her eyes deepened.

While Tachyon was preoccupied with sorting through those mories, Dream Weaver took the chance to glance at the laptop. She noticed that the extra storage space created by the drive was filled with a mountain of data she couldn't begin to decipher.

"And these are?"

"My research data from that world," Agnes Tachyon replied, her voice pulling her back to reality as she stared at the screen. "But... why?"

She still couldn't quite wrap her head around it. Her worldview, built carefully over years, was starting to fracture.

"The Three Goddesses, probably. Just bla everything on them."

"Are the Three Goddesses really that convenient of an excuse...?"

Seeing that Dream Weaver was sticking to that answer, Agnes Tachyon decided not to press any further.

After confirming through their exchange that the drive truly contained all the research data from her alternate-world self, she quietly set the laptop aside. She lowered her head, gazing down at her own legs.

"If that's the case... then there might still be a chance."

A chance to return to the track, to seize that possibility once more.

But before the burning heat in her chest could turn into full-blown excitent, Dream Weaver spoke up.

"So, Tachyon, are you planning to use that knowledge to fix your legs?"

"Isn't that obvious!"

Given that it involved her lifelong wish, Agnes Tachyon's tone grew unintentionally sharp.

She imdiately realized, however, that the person she was snapping at was the very one who had given her this hope. She shouldn't be speaking to Dream Weaver like that.

Before she could apologize, Dream Weaver rubbed her chin, muttering to herself.

"The thing is, I actually have sothing here that could fix them right now."

"But, if you'd rather rely on your own strength, then suit yourself."

Agnes Tachyon's expression shifted instantly. Forgetting the laptop entirely, she shoved it into Sugar Lights' lap and lunged forward, gripping Dream Weaver's hands tightly. Her voice was thick with sincerity.

"I'm sorry, I was being far too stubborn just now."

"Trainer, I want to be on the track!"

In that other world, after Agnes Tachyon was forced to leave the turf because of her legs, her instincts and desires as an Uma Musu had remained trapped within a body that could no longer run.

Now, having inherited those mories, she couldn't stand to wait a single second longer.

"Whoa, okay, I get it."

Dream Weaver winced slightly, startled by how fast Tachyon had flipped the switch. Looking into those eyes—so earnest they were almost desperate—she felt a bit out of her elent.

"I'm more used to you being all wild and arrogant," Dream Weaver said. "Can you bring that back for a second?"

"Oh? So you really do want to be my little guinea pig, then? Very well. Give your body over to completely."

Dream Weaver pried Tachyon's fingers away from her chin, looking utterly speechless.

"That was a bit too fast of a recovery!"

Ignoring the smirking Agnes Tachyon, Dream Weaver reached into her bag and pulled out the Holy Grail Dew, handing it over.

Looking at the liquid contained in the ornate glass bottle, which resembled so kind of orange soda, Agnes Tachyon tilted her head.

"Orange juice?"

"Just drink it. Only one sip, alright? This can only be used three tis. And don't touch your lips to the bottle."

Thinking that drinking a bit of juice wouldn't hurt—and having already experinted with all sorts of bizarre concoctions on Dream Weaver herself—Agnes Tachyon treated this as her "reimbursent."

Without hesitation, she obediently took a sip of the Holy Grail Dew.

An inexplicable sense of fullness instantly flooded her entire being. Agnes Tachyon looked down. Sohow, she just knew. She could run now, without any burden at all.

"You've got to be kidding ..."

Before she could finish her marveling, Dream Weaver took the bottle back and offered it to Sugar Lights.

"Your turn, Dr. Lights."

"Eh?"

Sugar Lights, who still hadn't fully processed everything, took the bottle blankly. After a mont of silence, she gave a bitter smile.

"There's really no need for soone in my condition, is there?"

She tapped her unresponsive legs and looked up at Dream Weaver.

"Tachyon couldn't run because of an injury, so there was always a hope for a cure. But my legs... they haven't stood up in a very, very long ti. No dicine in the world is going to make walk again."

"Sothing this precious would just be a waste on —mmph!"

Dream Weaver preferred letting results speak for themselves rather than wasting ti on explanations. Seizing the mont while Sugar Lights was wallowing in self-pity, she grabbed the bottle and tipped it straight into the girl's mouth.

Seeing Sugar Lights flailing her arms as if to struggle, Dream Weaver leaned in close and whispered right into her ear.

"You said this was precious, right?"

"Then stop struggling. It would be a real waste if you accidentally spat it out, wouldn't it?"

Hearing that, Sugar Lights stopped resisting and obediently swallowed the liquid.

The mont it went down, an indescribable warmth filled her body. Her legs—which should have felt nothing—suddenly gave a slight, phantom twitch.

A shock of joy, sharp as an explosion, erupted in Sugar Lights' heart.

Because she hadn't felt her legs in so long, the process of regaining sensation was clumsy.

She wobbled her thighs first, and only after a while was she able to lift her calves, slowly reclaiming control over her lower body inch by inch.

Tears rolled down her cheeks before she even realized it.

Sugar Lights looked up, and without needing a word, Dream Weaver and Agnes Tachyon understood. They stood on either side of her, supporting her as they helped her up.

Solid ground. Sugar Lights, who had forgotten the very aning of the phrase, broke into sobs the mont her feet touched the floor.

This was a miracle.

Only a miracle could have made her stand, but in Sugar Lights' heart, the one who had gifted her this wonder wasn't the Three Goddesses. It was the friend standing right beside her.

Sunlight stread through the window, softly caressing Dream Weaver's pale skin. Her face seed to glow with a light so bright it was almost blinding.

If there really is a God...

Then it has to be you, Dream Weaver, Sugar Lights thought to herself, watching the girl who looked like an angel descending into the light.
