“Wow, this is quite spectacular...”

Closing the door behind her, the priestess couldn’t help but let out a surprised sigh. Before her eyes, a young girl with long blue hair and closed green eyes sat cross-legged on the bed.

A rich green light and vibrant life force continuously emanated from her body, spreading outwards. The walls and ceiling of the stone room were adorned with various lively vines, a sight unexpected for such an interior.

The bright sunlight stread in from the window, casting a beautiful scene upon Theresa’s gently swaying hair, reflecting a splendid sight. For a mont, Violet even had the illusion that the figure sitting before her was none other than the Goddess of Life herself.

Ever since receiving Sethlin’s blessing and becoming a Divine Emissary of the Goddess of Life—a bestower of blessings—Theresa’s initially plain village girl deanor seed to have gradually changed over ti. Especially now, resonating with the divine power of the Goddess of Life, this feeling beca particularly pronounced.

Not exactly otherworldly, but certainly fresh and pure, like a forest fairy born from the woods, every movent and gesture exuded a delightful natural charm.

However, our forest fairy seed to have encountered so trouble at the mont.

Frowning as she observed Theresa, who had beads of sweat on her forehead and looked tense, Violet pondered for a mont before approaching and sitting beside the girl. She gently took Theresa’s right hand, which was placed on her knee.

“Don’t be nervous, it’s .”

Touched by the contact, the young girl with blue hair’s eyelids fluttered, almost waking up imdiately. But Violet simply whispered softly at her ear, her familiar voice quickly calming Theresa once again. Even the furrowed brows relaxed slightly with reassurance.

After briefly comforting the girl’s spirit, the priestess imdiately used her “Information detection” ability to investigate Theresa’s current condition.

Hmm... it’s not much different from what I expected.

Although Theresa currently radiated with a dazzling light and the room was surrounded by a plethora of plants, creating a seemingly miraculous and unbelievable scene.

In reality, this only indicated that her body couldn’t handle the divine power transmitted from afar. The load was too high, causing the excess energy to overflow from her body and manifest in the current spectacle.

Indeed, if it weren’t for Violet setting up barriers in her room a few days earlier to ensure safety and tranquility, isolating most of the energy that should have been dispersed, the Moon Shadow Mages guarding outside would have sensed more than just occasional energy fluctuations.

Thankfully, Violet was cautious enough to co and check on her, or there might have been serious issues.

“Can you hear ? Don’t be anxious. Forget about condensing the seed for now. Slowly guide the accumulated life force within your body. The power of the laws is different from magic. Don’t try to manipulate it with your usual thods and mindset. Try to understand.”

“One thought connects, myriad laws arise. Impatience leads to failure. Rember, do not be impatient.”

The palm clasped with the young girl emitted a faint golden light. The priestess used healing techniques to repair Theresa’s body, which was on the brink of collapse from prolonged high-load operation, while gently guiding her based on her own experience.

“Theresa, you have a strong affinity with the laws themselves. Sethlin saw this in you, which is why she chose you as her emissary. You can do this. Think about what true life really is.”

To be honest, Violet didn’t know much about the laws of life herself, but she had studied their precursor, the authority of “Life and Withered” from the Goddess of Earth. In so ways, this power complented her proficiency in holy light magic.

Back in the Sky City, the priestess had assisted Sethlin in planting the first Divine Tree. According to later private conversations with the Goddess of Life herself, Violet’ assistance had saved her more than half of the divine power consumption at that ti.

Theresa’s ability is not the issue, she was just too eager to prove her worth or to quickly help Violet, which led to the current situation. Therefore, a slight guidance at critical points should bring about significant changes.

The golden light slowly rged into the young girl’s body of green hair. Her tightly furrowed brow gradually relaxed, and the intense light filled with life force ceased its wild overflow outward. Through the link of Information Detection, Violet could sense a condensed energy beginning to form within her abdon.

This should be the embryo of the Divine Tree seed.

“Thank goodness...”

Although the plants already grown in the room would take so ti to dissipate, the most difficult period had passed.

Next, all that was needed was to wait for so more ti. Once Theresa successfully gathered divine power through her connection with Sethlin and condensed a relatively weaker version of the Divine Tree seed, they could officially begin their operation.

Overall, things were going smoothly.

Satisfied, Violet nodded to herself quietly, gently released Theresa’s hand that she had been holding, stood up, reinforced the protective barriers around once more, then pushed open the door and quietly left the room.

Stepping outside, just as she casually closed the door again, Violet turned as if sensing sothing, and her gaze fell upon the golden-haired girl standing quietly beside Leila and Rene, who were waiting. A faint smile of understanding appeared on her face.

“Xiao Guang, you’re back. Did you safely escort her?”

“Yes, Master. I watched her enter the borders of the Holy Empire before turning back.”

It was still her usual attire, unchanged by the seasons, but with a slightly weary aura, clearly just returned from a journey. Her little dragon nodded, attracting a slightly envious glance from the two White Feather girls, then took the initiative to approach Violet intimately, giving her a warm hug as a greeting.

“Alright, alright~ You clingy girl, everything went smoothly on the way, right?”

Seemingly inhaling the faint fragrance emanating from the black-haired girl, Miss Dragon reluctantly parted from Violet, then shook her head.

“No, we traveled through the air, so hardly anyone dared to provoke us recklessly. The Holy Empire sent soone to et her on their side too. But when I watched Edwina leave from the sky, she seed quite anxious, probably because of sothing those humans said to her.”

“Hmm... It seems there really is trouble over there. Perfect timing. Let’s settle things here at the Ten Thousand Demons Mountains and then go check it out together. Thank you for your hard work.”

“No trouble at all. Any other orders, Master?”

Violet smiled and shook her head.

“No, nothing else for now. But later, I plan to visit the Gateway Lands to handle so follow-up matters. Since we have so free ti, everyone can co along. If all goes well, we’ll be moving out again soon.”

Capital of the Human United Kingdom, Courage City, Royal Palace Chambers.

“Is that so...? That troublemaker managed to barge in again on her own... Sigh, this ti, thanks to her help, the northern part of the kingdom was spared from utter devastation. Looks like I owe her another big favor.”

Lounging on a plush and luxurious sofa, Queen Lilya lchior sighed helplessly, then breathed a sigh of relief. She picked up the crystal goblet filled with pale red liquid in front of her, took a sip, and slightly turned her head towards the figure kneeling before her, cloaked entirely in black attire.

“Have we received any updates from the Holy Empire?”

Responding imdiately with a young yet composed voice, clearly that of a female attendant, she respectfully replied, “I apologize, Your Majesty. We haven’t obtained any valuable leads yet. The upper echelons of the Holy Empire are on high alert, and the Three Saintesses are a crucial core for them, so our inside sources...”

The queen lazily raised a hand to halt the attendant’s report. She reclined in her noble light blue gown, legs partially obscured by transparent white silk, crossing them in another direction, showing signs of waning interest.

“Understood. Instruct those below to continue their investigation. This matter isn’t urgent, caution is paramount. There’s no need to confront the Holy Empire directly. Our main goal is to prevent the influence of the Goddess Church from deepening within our country.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

“What about the recent rise of the ‘Church of Radiance’ within our borders? Is it a branch implanted by the Goddess Church?”

The attendant pondered for a mont before responding, “We’ve clarified that it’s a very public organization. Currently, there appears to be no direct connection to the temple, and their object of worship isn’t necessarily the Goddess Aurora but rather... ‘Radiance and Redemption’ itself. There’s no established base, it spreads through oral tradition.”

“There have been signs of similar activities in the south as well, especially accelerated by the 【Southern Calamity】 and several purported miracles.”

“Your Highness, should we classify it as a heretical cult and suppress it dostically?”

“......”

The queen remained silent for a long ti. Seeing her like this, the attendant naturally refrained from speaking to avoid disturbing her. Finally, the queen spoke calmly.

“Since it’s not under the temple’s influence, let them be. Perhaps their developnt could serve as a counterbalance to the expansion of the Goddess Church.”

“Yes, Your Majesty. Understood.”

The young girl casually waved her hand, and the attendant conscientiously dissolved into the shadows, gradually disappearing into the air.

After a while, Lilya suddenly voiced out into the empty hall.

“Go and find out what’s going on with the Judgent Saintess. What sches is the Holy Empire up to again? Go personally, but don’t get caught.”

“Another journey... Alright, alright, can’t I go...”

A deep, sowhat sly voice flashed through the hall, sounding resigned rather than complaining. The noble and youthful queen with her blue hair gently placed the crystal goblet back on the table, lightly tapping the soft armrest of the sofa beside her, lost in thought.

In the now truly empty sleeping chamber, a faintly resentful voice murmured, audible only to the speaker.

“Seriously... After all that busy work, that heartless one couldn’t even co to see ...”
