At the sa ti, several powerful auras erupted from within the valley, rushing towards them at an astonishing speed sensed by Violet.
One aura was particularly remarkable, though it was sowhat concealed, it surpassed the sum of all the other auras.
This feeling... transcendent level... no, could it be a pseudo god?
Violet found it unbelievable that the core stronghold of the Moon Shadow Clan harbored a pseudo god who so brazenly ca out into the open.
Could it be a mythical being from the age of demons, like that little butterfly, Tiyelu, who claid to be the guardian of the 【Sanctuary】?
Though it was still unclear what level of power Tiyelu truly possessed, her proficiency in manipulating soul energy indicated she was no simple character.
If the Moon Shadow Clan indeed had a being above the level of a pseudo god, then humanity’s attempt to occupy the Ten Thousand Demons Mountains would be a joke.
Given the current strength displayed by the United Human Kingdom, aside from the “Spirit of the High Heavens” enshrined in the Hall of All Spirits, they had no other powerhouses above the level of a pseudo god. Moreover, the forr was more of a guardian and a last resort, clearly not sothing that could be deployed at will.
Much like Miss Estila, the divine priestess of the Sky City, these were the ultimate protective forces of a nation, bound by nurous conditions and restrictions.
Thus, Violet was particularly astonished that the Moon Shadow Clan’s pseudo god could co out so casually.
In any case, they would know more upon contact.
The other side approached quickly. Despite the heavy rain pouring down relentlessly, it did not hinder the speed of these true powerhouses.
Within seconds of the brief appearance and disappearance of the white wolf’s silhouette, several figures had already dashed out of the Wolf Claw Peak Canyon, arriving in front of Violet and her companions.
Seeing the arrival, the Moon Shadow werewolves led by Maira quickly dispersed to the sides, making way for the approaching group.
“Greetings, Chief Elder!”
“Mm.”
Referred to as the Chief, was a woman who appeared to be around thirty years old, exuding more maturity and dignity than Esther, both in stature and deanor.
She wore a luxurious robe resembling a fur coat, with short hair that almost appeared pure blue, adorned with wolf-patterned ornants, with only hints of gray at the tips. On her head rested a crown adorned with so kind of jet-black gemstone.
She seed to be the current leader of the Moon Shadow Clan, Novia’s mother, the Wolf Queen, Vanessa Moon Shadow.
On the way here, Esther had already introduced Violet to the leader of this clan. Her strength was indeed remarkable, and her figure exuded a rich maternal aura, which was admirable, but not the focal point.
At the pinnacle of legend, judging solely by aura, she was at this level, no less than Walter, the Guardian of the Southern Domain, and surpassed even Esther, the Grand Demon General.
In the world of demons, strength reigned supre, so it was expected that one with such prowess could beco the leader of the Moon Shadow werewolf clan.
Beside Vanessa stood three figures, all humanoid or near-humanoid in appearance.
One had short dark blue hair, with very little gray, similar to Esther’s, but with a considerably taller and more imposing stature. He appeared to be around the sa age as Esther, standing silently with a scrutinizing gaze fixed on Violet and the others. His focus lingered longest on Novia, cradled in Esther’s arms, and it was difficult to discern his thoughts just from his deanor.
The other figure was an elegant beauty with bright aqua-colored long hair, wielding a combination weapon that seed to be made up of two curved swords. Her ears were long and pointed, and she wore a peculiar battle skirt woven with leaves, exuding a natural aura, sowhat resembling the elves depicted in so of Violet’s stories.
However, Miss Priestess knew very well that she was obviously not one of those beings. Though very similar, the race called “Tree Spirit Tribes” and the nonexistent elves in this world were entirely different creatures. But how could a Tree Spirit Tribe, a mber of a strong race, appear in Moon Shadow territory?
Miss Priestess tilted her head slightly, glancing at Theresa, who also had a quarter of Tree Spirit Tribe blood and was curiously staring at the blue-haired beauty.
Seeing this, Violet didn’t say much, just shifting her gaze to the final figure.
The first three, including the Moon Shadow Clan leader Vanessa Moon Shadow, varied in strength but were undoubtedly above legendary level, surpassing anything below that level. By the standards of “Illusory World,” they would fall within the range of level 40 to level 50.
But this last guy was entirely different.
Compared to the others in their extravagant attire, this young man in simple clothes with his gray short hair gently swaying in the wind wasn’t just handso enough to make soone want to punch him in the face, his strength was also absurd.
The pseudo-god-level aura that Violet had sensed undoubtedly emanated from him. And he wasn’t just any ordinary pseudo-god. If one were to put it plainly, he was terrifyingly powerful, reaching the peak of the restriction level, level 80, just one step away from becoming a pseudo god level, much like the divine priestess Estila.
In a sense, he had even surpassed the level of transcendent, almost being the strongest being Violet had encountered in this world aside from true deities since her arrival. This kind of being, infinitely close to divinity, could perhaps be called a pseudo god—one step away from ascending to the realm of gods.
Moreover, this man was far more skilled in controlling and concealing his aura than Estila was initially. If Violet hadn’t already mastered so applications of SP and beco more sensitive to aura perception than before, she might not have been able to imdiately see through him.
His power... was entirely his own, operating on a completely different level. If he were to directly confront Miss Estila, who used to shine like a beacon wherever she went, the odds would probably be at least seven to three in his favor.
Who was this guy anyway?
Setting aside his strength for the mont, for so reason, even though he was just standing there without saying a word, Violet couldn’t help but feel that he was particularly pretentious and irritating, always wanting to give him a good beating on that handso face of his...
For example, while the other legends, like those Moon Shadow werewolves, directly released their magic to shield themselves from the pouring rain in the simplest and most straightforward way, this guy standing in the back was different.
There was no trace of light emanating from him, yet when raindrops fell toward him, they would unnaturally deflect away. Moreover, there was no force field like Eilush’s device that was so obvious. It looked more like the raindrops were actively avoiding his body.
Seemingly understated, yet if one had a bit of perceptiveness, they would imdiately notice this standout among the crowd.
Pretentious, way too pretentious.
Invisible pretentiousness is the most deadly.
As the two sides faced each other, it was evident that the leader, Chief Vanessa Moon Shadow, seed not to pay much attention to Violet and the others behind her. She looked at Esther with a content expression, cradling the little wolf cub.
“You’ve brought Novia back. Well done,” said the chief.
“Yes, Chief Elder, I’m honored to have fulfilled the mission. It’s thanks to everyone’s collective effort, as well as Lord Tiyelu and the help of Lady Violet and her companions. Also, about the little princess...”
As she spoke, the werewolf lady carefully lifted the little wolf cub, now entirely silver-gray, unlike when Violet first saw her, and gingerly presented her to Chief Vanessa.
