“Oh? There’s sothing like this? Well, thank you then~”

The priestess didn’t hesitate to extend her hand, but Sethlin didn’t imdiately hand over the item. She just smiled helplessly.

“It’s not ready yet. Maybe tomorrow. I’ll have Theresa bring it to you later. So, what brings you here this ti? Just chatting or having tea?”

“If it’s not ready, why ntion it... Well, I left a teleportation gate here before, rember? I’m planning to go sowhere later and then co back from this side. Just thought I’d give you a heads up to avoid misunderstandings.”

“I see.”

The green-eyed girl nodded and continued to tinker with the stone statue in her hand, speaking slowly.

“Do as you please. I’ve already examined that teleportation gate before. It’s indeed quite ingenious and poses no safety risks.”

Of course, it was crafted by a certain space magic expert personally.

Without disturbing Theresa, who was ditating, the priestess went to a corner of the wooden house and gently guided. Soon, a small door, barely a ter wide and emitting a magnificent silver light from within, slowly appeared before her eyes.

“Well then, I’ll be off~”

After bidding her farewell, before waiting for Sethlin’s response, the black-haired girl darted into the teleportation gate and imdiately disappeared.

After a few seconds, the Goddess of Life, sitting at the wooden table, turned her head again, staring at the gradually disappearing and concealing silver door, lost in thought.

“Invisible Space Teleportation Gate, huh...”

Through the items produced in the ga for teleportation, it was far more stable than the winged people’s technology such as the “Transit Gate.” Although it was still a quick movent through the gaps in space, the automatic attachnt of a layer of silver film when entering the teleportation gate greatly reduced the burden on the body.

Violet was not teleporting for the first ti in this world, so there wasn’t much to worry about. After about thirty seconds or so, she saw a rapidly enlarging ball of white light in front of her.

That was the exit of the teleportation gate set in the Courage City. Through the subtle sensation of the user, Violet could easily recognize it.

“Snap.”

The black-haired girl in a white robe leaped out from the bright door, already back on solid ground.

Violet looked around.

This place was indeed the room where she had originally set up the teleportation gate, as if it were the Queen’s exclusive dressing room?

It was silent around. Although outside the window was the night sky, other parts of the palace were illuminated by the light of magic lamps, and this rather luxurious dressing room was no exception.

Lilya wasn’t here, and there weren’t many people in the room. Neat or scattered footsteps mingled outside, probably the palace guards and maids going about their business.

Not wanting to disturb too many people, the priestess thought for a mont, then put on her Chaleon Cloak and slipped in through a side door.

Next to the dressing room was the Queen’s bedroom, a fact Violet had long known. They had chosen this location precisely because of this point when they set up the Invisible Space Teleportation Gate here.

Although Violet hadn’t visited Lilya’s sleeping chamber many tis, she was quite familiar with the layout. Compared to a few months ago, there hadn’t been much change, and the Queen herself wasn’t in the room, probably still handling governntal affairs.

Although it would be easy to find her, it wasn’t necessary. The priestess removed her invisibility item, picked up so docunts from the table, and sat down on a chair, intending to read while waiting.

At this mont.

“Eh!?”

A crisp exclamation caught the girl’s attention.

Accompanied by sounds akin to a baby’s babbling, a fragrant fruit the size of an adult human fist but with peculiar limbs, and noticeable bite marks in so places, leaped out of the small sleeping basket in the corner. It dashed towards Violet’s feet, then climbed onto the table with three steps and two hops, excitedly bouncing towards the girl.

“Hmm...? Are you... Xiangxiang?”

“Eh!”

After a mont of confusion, Violet quickly rembered the true identity of this little fellow. When she infiltrated the vampire estate in the Courage City, she found it troubleso to navigate through the maze. So, she casually enchanted a Xiangxiang fruit growing on a tree to guide her.

Later on, because Xiangxiang was only level 5 and very fragile, Violet couldn’t just take it around everywhere. She entrusted it to the care of the Queen and asked Lilya to take care of it.

“It seems like you’re living quite comfortably, huh? Lilya even prepared such a comfortable bed for you. Well, from now on, you can’t be mischievous around her, okay~”

“Eh~”

Reaching out to touch the smooth and shiny skin of Xiangxiang, the little fellow lay down on the table, allowing its true owner to play with it as it relaxed.

Since Xiangxiang couldn’t speak, Violet couldn’t chat with it to pass the ti. So, while stroking this long-lost little pet, she continued to flip through the docunts she had taken out earlier.

“Huh?”

After a while, the black-haired girl raised her eyebrows in surprise.

Originally just looking for sothing to pass the ti, Violet was astonished to find that after skimming through several docunts that seed to have been submitted, most of the contents were unexpectedly about the recent disputes in the northern part of the Human United Kingdom, particularly the ongoing conflicts near the so-called “Ten Thousand Demons Mountains.”

During the smuggling and hunting process, human trafficking gangs were caught and executed, riots by monsters attacked villages, resulting in conflicts with guards; the southern entrance to the Ten Thousand Demons Mountains was heavily blocked, causing scarcity of resources and price increases due to difficulties for rchants to pass through...

To be brought to the attention of Queen Lilya ant that these were already special and urgent matters. Besides these, there were definitely more minor issues constantly arising.

The Ten Thousand Demons Mountains... It seed like Felina had ntioned sothing about problems in the northern part of the kingdom before. It appeared that the situation was even more serious than imagined.

The priestess beca interested and selected a few docunts placed on the table. After a while, there were many dense footsteps heard outside.

“That’s it for now. You don’t need to co in. I’m a bit tired today and want to rest early.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

A pair of delicate hands pushed open the side door of the sleeping chamber. A blue-haired girl in loose robes covered her mouth as she yawned and slowly walked in.

Then, her gaze t the eyes of the black-haired priestess, who was sitting at the table, absent-mindedly petting Xiangxiang with one hand and holding a partially flipped through report in the other.

Lilya was startled, while Violet smiled knowingly and waved her hand.

“Hi, long ti no see. Missed ?”

“V-Violet? Is it really you?!”

The Queen quickly rubbed her eyes, her disbelieving gaze scanning the white-robed girl from head to toe, while the latter drooped her head as if disappointed.

“Wow, your reaction is so shallow. I thought you might suddenly scream or rush over. So dull, emotions have dulled...”

“Huh? No no no! I-I’m really happy! It’s just that there are maids and guards outside. If I suddenly scread or rushed over, it might be mistaken for an assassin attack, causing unnecessary trouble... I-if Violet wishes...”

Seeing the undeniable exhaustion on the face of the Queen, who was still frantically trying to explain, Violet felt too embarrassed to continue joking with her. She raised her hand to release a small barrier, then stood up and approached the sowhat bewildered blue-haired girl.

Gently brushing aside Lilya’s sky-blue hair that hung down, the priestess smiled with so emotion.

“You’ve grown, Lilya. To be able to restrain your emotions like this, it seems you’ve beco a qualified queen.”

“Violet...”

With reddened eyes, Lilya raised her head and locked gazes with the black-haired girl’s gem-like translucent silver-blue eyes for a long ti. In the end, Lilya didn’t say much, only silently embraced her, trying hard to feel the warmth of the petite body and the familiar scent between the girl’s hair that she hadn’t experienced for a long ti.

There was no expected commotion, nor did they hear crying or coquettish whispers. Everything seed so warm and beautiful in tranquility.

“Violet, I missed you so much. Do you miss ?”

“Not really.”

“What?”

“Haha, you know my personality. A little is already quite impressive...”

“Well, yeah, um, Violet...”

“Yes?”

“At least, you haven’t forgotten about . I’m so happy~”
