What is that thing?
For a mont, Violet found it difficult to give a clear description and judgnt.
The abyssal beast, which the priestess had already seen, could be considered exceptionally disgusting and hideous, but compared to this thing, it was still child’s play.
Firstly, it had seven arms.
Not the symtrical kind, but crooked and twisted, as if haphazardly glued together on the upper half of its body, with two even growing from the front chest and back.
Those seven hands obviously weren’t the sa either, none of them even resembled another.
There were average human arms, demon claws, horse hooves, things that looked like wings, and sharp hooks like those of abyssal beasts, all assembled on the sa body.
Its body split in half from the center, with one head on each side, one resembling a bird’s and the other similar to a human head, even with long hair.
The split extended downwards, converging into a giant mouth full of sharp teeth on its abdon, similar to the terrifying mouthpiece that abyssal beasts opened when devouring food but even more physically discomforting.
And the lower half of the monster was even more bizarre, with eight legs spread apart like a spider, dragging behind a tail covered in thorns.
This couldn’t be called ugly or disgusting anymore, it was outright spiritual pollution, sothing any rational being would want to turn into ashes upon sight.
Its existence itself was a blasphemy against the concept of life, a blasphemy against this world.
Yes, it was blasphemy, true blasphemy.
[Blaspher]
Such a na naturally erged in everyone’s mind, including Violet, the mont they saw the monster, as if the world itself had directly given it its title.
When the creature defined as the Blaspher erged from its cocoon, its body was still covered in sticky liquid, and its exoskeleton, resembling that of an abyssal beast, was sowhat soft. However, within a few seconds, it quickly dried and hardened, even growing sharp thorns.
It seed that breaking out of the cocoon early hadn’t had much impact on it.
The Blaspher stood up crookedly, its bird-like head and human-like skull simultaneously turning towards everyone present, its human face twisted into a nauseating smile that almost covered half of its face, as if it was about to say sothing.
“Boom!!!”
A crimson fla suddenly descended upon it, enveloping the creature and unquestionably igniting every corner of its body.
“Aaaaahhhhh!!!”
The Blaspher emitted a piercing roar so shrill it almost made people faint, rolling desperately on the ground, yet the flas, filled with high temperature and divine power, couldn’t be extinguished no matter what.
In just a few seconds, this eerie and malevolent creature was completely reduced to ashes, dissipating into the air.
“Huh?”
Sigrid and the others, who were already on high alert, looked back in confusion, only to see the black-haired priestess holding a crimson staff, disdainfully pursing her lips.
“Don’t co out looking so ugly and embarrassing. You were planning on showing off your acting skills, weren’t you? Even if I didn’t destroy you, it would go against the natural order.”
Sigrid’s mouth twitched violently.
“Violet, didn’t you say you were a priest and had no direct combat abilities?”
“Hmm? Yes, that’s right. So I didn’t fight, I was just doing the righteous thing. Besides, that guy didn’t fight back either, did he?”
What kind of forced argunt is this, hey!
Just as Sigrid was about to continue saying sothing, suddenly, there was a series of crackling sounds inside the arena, like the bursting of fruits, as the flesh eggs containing sothing began to burst open one after another, emitting a squirming sound.
Liquid splattered, and things covered in sticky substances leaped out.
They were all horrifying Blasphers, assembled from various mismatched body parts.
“Hehehehehe!!!”
“Hehehehe!!!”
“Chop chop! Eat it hehehe!!!”
“Hehehe their wings are so pretty, I really want hehehehe!!!”
The Blasphers emitted cacophonous and sharp sounds like sonic attacks, seemingly possessing language abilities, but Violet couldn’t sense any intention to communicate.
Moreover, she had no intention of talking to these disgusting things, just seeing them was already a huge tornt to her eyes.
So the priestess simply turned her head back and looked at the captivating white-feathered beauty behind her.
“Sigrid, what do we do? It seems like they were lured out by your action earlier.”
“???”
The team leader nervously tightened her grip on her gun, imdiately retaliating.
“I admit I might have acted a bit impulsively earlier, but no matter how you look at it, Violet, your setting the fire caused a bigger commotion, didn’t it?!”
“No no no, even if I were to take 99% of the bla, can you honestly say you don’t have at least 1% of the problem?”
“What kind of nonsense is this, hey!!”
“Master, they’re here!”
The Blasphers didn’t give Violet and the others ti to chat. As soon as they erged from their cocoons, they imdiately grinned wickedly, flying, jumping, or crawling on walls, swiftly closing in through various eerie and unpredictable ways, with many of them launching long-range attacks directly.
“Swish!”
As the warning sounded, the small dragon girl’s hand instantly transford into dragon claws, slashing through the air like lightning. Several of the Blasphers about a dozen ters away were instantly cut into pieces like rag dolls, becoming useless fragnts falling to the ground.
However, even so, those pieces of flesh imdiately began wriggling and reassembling, reverting to their original forms.
No, not completely restored. Tose limbs and heads were all haphazardly patched together, with body parts of multiple Blasphers even combined together!?
“Wow, this is so disgusting!?”
“Yihehehehe!!!”
Amidst the enemy’s sinister laughter, Sigrid fearlessly spread her wings and rushed forward to confront the Blaspher at the forefront. She clashed head-on with its blade-like arm.
But what shocked most people present was that Sigrid, the legendary White Winged, was actually sent flying backward by her opponent’s strike. She was completely overwheld by this monster in sheer strength!
“??!”
With a swift flap of her wings, the girl managed to stabilize herself next to her teammates, her expression quite grim.
As the one experiencing it firsthand, she had the deepest understanding. Seeing Violet effortlessly incinerate an enemy, Sigrid had initially thought these were just elite monsters stronger than typical abyssal beasts, especially considering their numbers. But in reality, it was far from that.
This feeling of being completely overwheld in power, Sigrid had only experienced it once before.
The Feathered Emperor, Estini.
