The trials of the “Gate of Humanity” were not physically dangerous, but they struck directly at the deepest recesses of the soul. This had undoubtedly been an incredibly profound and aningful experience.
To construct this [Six-Line Array Palace], the price paid by the beings who once dwelled within the [Great Secret Realm of Chaos] was likely far greater than Violet had initially imagined.

The concept of [Desire] was broad, encompassing everything from the most basic biological drives to the complex aspirations shaped by personal experiences and character.
To be honest, in her current state as a divine being, Violet hadn’t experienced any intense desires for quite so ti.
Her body no longer required food or sleep, and she possessed the power to accomplish most things with ease. Material needs and wants had long faded into irrelevance, leaving only ntal or emotional cravings. Perhaps the desire for knowledge or the urge to explore.
“Splish—”
The sound of water rippling and the familiar warmth soaking her skin startled Violet for a mont. She raised her head to take in her surroundings, realizing that the space around her had been reconstructed once again. This place was yet another location etched vividly into her mories.
“Violet? What are you daydreaming about?”
A familiar, playful voice teased her from nearby. Before Violet could respond, a smooth, wet hand pressed against her cheek without hesitation, its gentle touch surprisingly pleasant.
“Hmm… it doesn’t feel like you’re running a fever. You shouldn’t have passed out from soaking too long, right? I an, soone as capable as you wouldn’t have such a problem, would you?”
The figure rose from the water, her lower body obscured by the rippling waves. She moved to sit beside the priestess, her damp, sky-blue hair brushing lightly against Violet’s nose. The faint fragrance unique to her long hair combined with the steam rising from the bath created a surreal and dreamlike atmosphere.
“L-Lilya?”
The blue-haired girl, whose na had been called, tilted her head and smiled warmly at her.
“What’s wrong? You seem a little strange tonight, like your mind’s not at ease. Did you run into so trouble?”
The girl nad Lilya lchior, or rather Her Majesty the Queen, gently patted the smooth, jade-like fullness of her body, only partially floating above the water. The ripples she caused sent small waves cascading across the surface. Smiling once more, she said teasingly,
“You’re so helpless sotis. Go on, tell , whatever problem you have, I’m here to help. After all, I *am* a queen now, so I should be able to do sothing for you, Miss Violet~”
“No… it’s nothing. I’m just… surprised, that’s all.”
Yes, surprised.
She hadn’t expected that the final trial representing [Desire] would manifest as *this* particular scene.
Violet drew her gaze away from Lilya’s nearly bare figure, which glowed faintly pink from the warm water. Her skin was as flawless and smooth as white jade, and the sight, combined with the bath’s heat, stirred an unmistakable warmth within her.
Taking a deep breath, Violet inhaled the humid air, faintly scented with dicinal herbs and that uniquely familiar fragrance belonging to the queen beside her. She tried to calm the ripples of restlessness that had arisen from the warmth of Lilya’s presence.
Alright, she had to admit it. Those lazy, peaceful days over a month ago, spent in the Human United Kingdom after the conflict ended, before she set off for the Azure Sky Nation, were probably the most comfortable and relaxing monts of her entire life since she had arrived in this world.
Sleeping in luxurious queen-sized bed, indulging in afternoon tea and desserts, savoring an endless array of delicacies offered in tribute, playing with birds, taking care of cats and dogs, and every evening soaking in a private dicinal bath larger than a swimming pool. It was a life of utter indulgence and luxury.
Violet hadn’t grown dependent on or overly attached to such a lifestyle, but she also saw no reason to deliberately reject it when it was offered. Why choose hardship when comfort was within reach?
Besides, there was often too much food for just the two of them. She could even pack so up and share it with her dragon girl back ho.
Under Lilya’s ticulous care and attention, Violet had occasionally entertained fleeting thoughts like, *Maybe staying here like this wouldn’t be so bad after all.*
But…
The priestess felt a sense of curiosity.
What exactly was the part of her that belonged to *humans*, deep inside, yearning for and holding onto this past?
Was it the luxurious lifestyle here, the carefree laziness, or… sothing else?
As she pondered, the blue-haired girl, who was also naked and soaking in the water, lazily leaned against the soft cushion behind her and spoke again.
“Hey, Violet, do you feel happy and relaxed when you’re with ?”
The black-haired girl turned to look at the young queen, eting her gaze. The softness and warmth in Lilya’s eyes were rare and precious, sothing Violet had never seen in the queen when she looked at anyone else.

“Not really.”
“Why did you keep saying that! Haha, don’t lie to ! I know you should be happy! I rember my mother once told that when one person feels this way about another, it ans they’ve ford a strong bond and trust between them. Hehe… I’m so happy. Violet trusts too~”
The priestess didn’t respond, but Lilya seed used to her silent nature and continued speaking to herself.
“Violet, do you rember the story I once told you… about the Moon Goddess Luna?”
“Ah, yes, I rember.”
As soon as Violet answered, she suddenly felt sothing smooth and soft brush against her hand under the water. Instinctively, she tried to pull away, but Lilya gripped her hand firmly, holding her fingers tightly without letting go.
“Lilya?”
Looking into the silver-blue eyes of the queen, Violet felt a soft breeze of sweet breath pass over her cheek, gentle but firm.
“Violet, I want to be your partner, a true partner.”
“I know… you’ll be leaving soon, right? You’re like the pure, radiant moon in the sky. Beautiful, yet so far out of reach. No matter how hard I try, I can’t get close to you.”
“You appeared at the most helpless ti in my life, like a brilliant sun shining with endless light. You could do anything, saving and changing in ways I never thought possible, and then you quietly left when I no longer needed saving…”
“Honestly, I often doubt myself. I wonder if I really deserve your kindness. If soone else, like Ben, or Devitt, or even Patrick, were here instead of , could they get the sa things I did?”
“Because of this, I often feel inferior and lost, thinking I can never stand proudly by your side…”
“Yes. I don’t have the ability to keep you by my side because I’m just a humble mortal, while you are a true deity.”

The blue-haired girl lowered her head slightly, seemingly to hide her embarrassnt, but soon looked up again with determination in her eyes.
