Capítulo 785: Chapter 79: Visas Returns! (End of Volu)

It’s over.

Finally… it’s over.

In the darkness, Isaiah’s body swayed, his vision growing increasingly blurred.

No, it’s not over yet.

Isaiah forced his eyes open.

There’s still… one last step.

He, who should have been at the end of his strength, sohow squeezed out the last bit of energy, standing up shakily, his heavy and hurried breathing like a machine on the verge of breaking down.

Isaiah straightened his body and looked ahead.

Aine Hagar was no longer there; that demigod’s body had perished within his eternity, leaving only a pile of embers.

Thus, Isaiah had achieved an unprecedented feat — God-slaying.

No… not unprecedented.

Isaiah lifted his head, his gaze crossing over Aine Hagar’s embers, focusing on his ultimate target, the eternally standing Final Gate.

But the Final Gate could no longer stand because its power ca from Aine Hagar, and Aine Hagar was dead. Hence, this ancient gate of a thousand years was inevitably crumbling like a sandcastle in the wind.

Much like Isaiah at this very mont.

Isaiah stepped over the embers of Aine Hagar, approaching the Final Gate, slowly raising his hand.

Most of his fingers had withered, unable even to straighten; only the three that didn’t belong to him remained unchanged.

“I am not eternal, nor are gods,” Isaiah said softly as he looked at those three fingers, “Only you, is it?”

“In that case, please let witness it with my own eyes.”

He placed his hand upon the Final Gate.

“Boom, boom, boom!”

Isaiah’s hand was like the final straw that broke the cal’s back, as the Final Gate began to collapse with a resounding boom.

As Isaiah said, this godly creation standing for a millennium was not eternal. Countless cracks spread from Isaiah’s palm, swiftly covering the entire gate, which ultimately collapsed entirely, turning into ashes alongside Aine Hagar.

The last barrier thus dissipated into nothingness.

Isaiah finally saw that body, bound by heaven and earth.

“Finally, I’ve t you.” Isaiah spoke softly, “Mr. Visas.”

The body gave no response, only the countless sealing chains and spell bands on it swayed slightly in the windless air, as if welcoming Isaiah’s arrival.

In the darkness, there were occasionally strange chewing sounds, clearly indicating there was sothing in the depths gazing at Isaiah.

But Isaiah did not pay it any mind, his eyes were only on that body.

Now, there was only one last mystery to unravel.

He lifted his foot, walking toward the body.

The area untouched for millennia finally welcod a new guest, countless slumbering beings awakened, and innurable gazes shot out from the darkness, fixating intensely on Isaiah.

But none of them revealed themselves, because Isaiah bore Aine Hagar’s scent, and they understood what that ant — a new God Slayer had arisen.

Yet Isaiah wasn’t aware of this realization; his body had reached its limits. Reasonably speaking, after killing Aine Hagar, he should have died, but he held on for that final answer.

Finally, he stood before the body.

Only a few steps remained.

He lifted his foot with difficulty, stepping onto the staircase.

Then, from behind him, ca the sound of heavy footsteps and dragging chains.

“Isaiah…” a familiar voice called out, “It is you… it really is you…”

Isaiah sighed softly.

“Didn’t expect to et you here.” Isaiah slowly turned, “Prison Director.”

Indeed, it was the Prison Director.

At this mont, the Prison Director was covered in blood and gri, with half of his body missing, and most of the sealing chains that protected his soul were broken, leaving only a few thick ones hanging on him.

“Seems like you’ve run into so trouble yourself,” Isaiah said.

The Prison Director opened his mouth, producing a raspy, indistinct sound from his throat, “It is you… I knew it… it really is you…”

He seed to have lost the ability to think, no matter what Isaiah said, he only repeated, “It really is you.”

“Gone mad, have you?” Isaiah said softly, “Though I don’t know what you’ve been through, please wait a mont, I still have one last thing.”

With that, Isaiah turned around again, stepping up another stair.

Of course, he was prepared for the Prison Director to rush forth for a final showdown.

If the Prison Director were at his peak, Isaiah certainly wouldn’t be a match, but now the Prison Director seed to have gone mad, so…

“There isn’t what you seek there,” the Prison Director’s voice sounded again, “My child.”

Isaiah’s body halted.

He stood close to the body but did not take another step, rely sighing deeply.

“So it was all your doing?” He turned once more to face the Prison Director, “Master… or rather, Star Relic?”

The Prison Director stood in his original position but without the previous madness or violence, he simply gazed quietly at Isaiah, but his crimson eyes had faded to a starry gray-white.

And behind him, the embers of Aine Hagar were swiftly turning into a starry river, continuously flowing into his body.
