Capítulo 762: Chapter 68: Doomsday (Part 3)

“It’s hard to say,” Edwin said, “though Isaiah is indeed the first among the divine, the Guardians of the Contract Land are not to be underestimated. Once they recover from the chaos, it’s anyone’s guess who will erge victorious.”

“Is that so?”

“So don’t just stand there.” Edwin shouted, “This is our best chance!”

Then he too plunged into the sea of fire.

“It’s been confird, Isaiah and his forces invaded from the Storm God Stele!”

“The entire Star Relic delegation has revolted!”

“Our Guardian Legion at the Storm God Stele has been completely destroyed by Isaiah!”

“The prison center was hit by a teor attack! Heavy casualties on the scene!”

“Master Contractor, please make a decision quickly!”

Within a very short ti, countless pieces of information floated to Diana like falling snowflakes.

Diana had a grim expression, looking quite uncomfortable.

Because she was not only listening to the Guardians’ reports but was also receiving information from the perspectives of countless Servants, creating a massive ntal strain.

Yet even so, all Diana could firmly ascertain was that Isaiah and his subordinates invaded from the Storm God Stele, while everything else remained unknown.

For instance, regarding the other three Divine Steles… well, actually, it should be the other two Divine Steles, what on earth was happening with Sleep and Gold? Isaiah was clearly not there, yet incidents had occurred with them too?

Diana wanted to send soone to investigate, but she had no personnel to spare because over eighty percent of the Guardians were in a state of utter chaos, rendering them uncommandable.

This wasn’t because they were lacking in spirit or were stunned by the sudden assault. On the contrary, the Guardians of the Contract Land were absolutely the finest, most well-trained force in this world.

However, most of the ti, the Guardians of the Contract Land were linked to the sealing inside the Abyss Prison; their power ca from the Sealing, and one could even say they were part of the Sealing. But now, with all four Divine Steles simultaneously destroyed, the source of the Sealing was thrown into chaos, naturally impacting their minds and Magic Power, transforming them into lambs waiting for slaughter, perishing one after another in this teor storm.

Thus, until they regained consciousness on their own, Diana had very limited people she could command.

To stop a well-prepared Isaiah under these conditions was almost impossible.

However, she didn’t intend to stop Isaiah. She just needed to delay a bit, waiting for the Heavenly Voice Obedience to activate.

But why hasn’t it activated yet?

Amidst such chaos, Diana didn’t constantly keep tabs on Carter, who went to deliver the ssage, considering it wasn’t a difficult task.

But after waiting for a long ti without receiving Carter’s reply, she had to leave the others’ sight to look for Carter herself.

And that’s when she discovered that far away at the Heavenly Voice Obedience’s station, Carter… was dead.

The Heavenly Voice Obedience camp.

The lead Guardian, catching the scent of blood, led his subordinates into the Prison Director’s quarters.

“Lord Prison Director, what’s happened…”

His words trailed off, frozen by the scene before him.

The place was a bloody ss, resembling sothing straight out of Hell.

And the Prison Director was holding soone’s head, his back turned to them.

“Lord Prison Director…” a strong sense of unease welled up in the lead Guardian’s heart, “What happened to you?”

The Prison Director slowly turned around, chains dragging through the gore, making a harsh noise.

And the lead Guardian finally saw that the head the Prison Director held… was Carter’s.

“Ah, how many tis has it been?” the Prison Director slowly spoke, “Seventy tis… or was it eighty? I can’t rember, can’t rember anymore.”

The Prison Director’s voice was very soft, like a breeze… but it surged from the depths of Hell, carrying a rich, blood-chilling aura.

The lead Guardian wanted to say sothing more, but the next second, he felt a chill in his chest.

He looked down and saw that his chest had been pierced by the Prison Director’s chain.

“I can’t take it anymore… I want to kill all of you illusions…”

“Every one of you.”
