Chapter 602: 51 Second Rank Descent!

The world is burning.

Or rather, the gods are burning.

Having completely devoured Senluo’s Wildfire, it naturally possessed the power of gods. When it awakened, there was no one who could match it.

Yet, the one opposing it, was itself.

Flas pierced through the divine body from inside out like sharp swords, and the escaping flas ignited the sky.

The first sound the newly born God of Wildfire made upon descending to the world was not a divine oracle but a wail, like a gravely injured beast, furious and piercing.

“Truly magnificent.” Bai Wei stood in the mountain forest that had yet to be affected, gazing at the burning sky’s flas, softly murmuring, “Well done, Ade.”

Yes, the flas scorching the God of Wildfire were Ade’s.

In the sea of consciousness, Ade had counter-killed the unstoppable Saint and turned all his blood into flas, which were the Blood-Inducing Fire.

The ascending God of Wildfire was no longer influenced by mortal powers, but the Blood-Inducing Fire was the power of the God of Senluo, and was the only ans Ade had to wound it.

But the cost was all his blood; once Ade chose this path, there was no turning back. The Blood-Inducing Fire used blood as fuel, burning until the last mont, burning the last drop of blood.

Yet even this could not kill the Wildfire.

After a century of devouring Senluo, even with the final betrayal of the Saint, just a step away from ascending the divine ladder, the power of Wildfire was enough to be called “god.” And in this world, to kill a god was mostly a re delusion.

…but not today.

Bai Wei was waiting.

He knew Ade was burning Wildfire with his life and also that Ade couldn’t hold on for long, and that the Blood-Inducing Fire would eventually extinguish.

But Bai Wei still waited.

Because Wildfire had not yet erged from its Divine Country, what he saw now was just a projection of Wildfire in the Mortal World.

Its true form had long since slipped into the Divine Country of Senluo, where it devoured Senluo’s corpse and seized Senluo’s Divine Country.

With Bai Wei’s current strength, let alone defeating Wildfire head-on, he couldn’t even enter its Divine Country.

So he could only rely on Ade, as Ade was the key to opening the door to the Divine Country.

“Just a little more.” Bai Wei watched the ever-intensifying sky fire, gently saying, “Just a little more, Ade.”

Suddenly, a crack appeared in the sky.

Initially, the crack was unremarkable, but it quickly spread, expanding into a web-like fissure in a matter of tens of seconds.

Then ca a “crack” sound.

The sky shattered.

More flas spewed from the broken sky, and along with them, a powerful, hairless arm erged.

“Finally out.” Bai Wei smiled, saying, “Well done, Ade.”

“Roar!!!”

A heart-shocking roar emanated from the Divine Country, instantly enlarging the gap by countless tis.

Next, Wildfire extended its head.

It still bore the characteristics of a wolf, appearing as if the Pure Silver Wolf had been magnified hundreds of tis, yet its body was hairless, as if it had been skinned, covered in blood like a dog.

Most parts of its body were being scorched by flas that didn’t appear out of nowhere but instead erged inverted like silver needles from its thick blood vessels.

Behind it, within the gap, the Divine Country was also being engulfed in flas.

The Divine Country is a god’s most crucial domain. Once it’s destroyed, the god suffers a severe blow. So when the not-fully-godlike Wildfire realized it couldn’t extinguish Ade’s Blood-Inducing Fire shortly, it naturally opted to bring the fire into reality.

This was the only opportunity to defeat… no, to kill a god.

Bai Wei narrowed his eyes.

Soon Wildfire completely withdrew from the Divine Country and ca into reality.

At the mont it touched the ground, the mountains quaked, akin to a natural disaster.

The flas it brought out spread around even faster, soon consuming the entire Sacrificial Arena into a sea of flas, making it seem truly like the god who controlled fire.

But Bai Wei knew this was not what it wanted to see because it aid to replace all of Senluo, not to forge an entirely new world.

This wasn’t because it retained any sentint for Senluo, but because all its understanding ca from Senluo, from this land. It could not execute actions beyond its understanding. So seeing everything familiar being consud uncontrolled by flas, it let out another piercing roar, like a beast discovering its domain being invaded and destroyed, rather than resembling a god.

And in its rage, it turned its head towards Bai Wei.

Even though Bai Wei was far from it, it precisely located Bai Wei’s position.

In that mont, an endless, mighty oppressive force rushed towards him. If standing here were a mortal unprotected by divine power, this gaze alone would have been enough to kill him a thousand tis over.

Yet it had no effect on Bai Wei, who only felt the heatwave, as if standing by a bonfire on a scorching sumr’s day, making his rain-soaked clothes dry instantly.

Bai Wei clicked his tongue: “Unable to finish off Ade, planning to take out first? The idea is correct, but…”

As Wildfire contemplated taking action against Bai Wei, a shadow swiftly darted out from the burning woods, like a grasshopper, landing swiftly on Wildfire’s body.
