People realized that all of it was nothing more than a ans for Lyra to dosticate them, a fence to trap them in.
Naturally, they didn’t have a good attitude towards such a fence.

But at that mont, the train slowly started up again.

Everyone looked forward frantically, and their faces simultaneously showed a look of terror.
Because on the track ahead, there was another train that was stationary, and the people on it stared back in astonishnt at the approaching train from behind.
At that mont, people realized what was about to happen.
But it was too late to stop it, they didn’t even have ti to jump off, they could only watch, helpless.
The two trains collided violently.
