The Spell Canceller was truly unexpected. It was a hard counter to his Armant strategy—a monster that could single-handedly shut down his key tactics, a real headache for Gekko.
If his deck was built entirely around "Armant Reincarnation," drawing this matchup could have spelled disaster.
But a true expert never bets everything on just one strategy.
Naturally, Gekko's deck still held other possibilities.
"No wonder both Seto Kaiba and Yako imdiately noticed how unusual you are. I haven't t such a worthy opponent in a long ti..."
Gekko spoke seriously.
"But I'm far from reaching my limit!
I activate my set card, the trap card Good Goblin Housekeeping!"
He triggered one of the traps in his back row.
"I can draw a number of cards from my deck equal to the number of 'Good Goblin Housekeeping' in my graveyard plus one, then choose a card from my hand to return to the bottom of my deck."
Currently, there were 0 copies of "Good Goblin Housekeeping" in Gekko's graveyard, so he'd draw one card, then return a card from his hand to the bottom of the deck.
"Now I chain a second one!" Gekko said, "Another trap card— Good Goblin Housekeeping!

Gekko quickly revealed another card in hand.
"Quick-Play Spell—Ergency Provisions! I send any number of Spell/Trap cards I control to the Graveyard, and gain 1000 Life Points for each!"
He pointed to the two "Good Goblin Housekeeping" already activated.
"I send both to the Graveyard, gaining 2000 LP!"
