To be fair, the monster's sense of pressure was imnse—its huge size and aura were overwhelming.
Of course, Kira knew that in GX, this was just a big beater, an underdeveloped card with untapped potential.
Still, in its day, Gate Guardian did have so rits. For instance, it had the highest ATK among Warrior types, and until Yubel appeared, it was the only Level 11 monster—higher than the Egyptian Gods, who were only Level 10.
The elder brother: "I set a card face-down. Turn end."
Jaden stared at Gate Guardian, then turned excitedly to Kira.
"That looks incredible! We can't lose to them, Kira."
"Of course. My turn, draw," Kira said. "I activate the Spell Card 'Card of Adversity'! If the opponent controls a Special Summoned monster and I control none, I draw two cards." (ani card)
Kira drew and then played another card.
"I activate 'Ojama Ride'! By sending 'Ojama Green', 'Yellow', and 'Black' from my hand to the graveyard, I Special Summon three Level 4 or lower Machine Union monsters from my deck in Defense Position!" (Ani card)
This world's Ojama deck included many support cards used by Chazz in the ani, enabling unique plays.
He revealed three cards.
"Special Summon 'X-Head Cannon', 'Y-Dragon Head', and 'Z-tal Tank'!"

The three chs rged into the fully ard XYZ-Dragon Cannon.

"If 'Gate Guardian' gets locked down, that'll be tough," the elder brother said. "So I activate my face-down—Trap Card 'Raigeki Break'! Discard a card to destroy a card on the field!"
He discarded a card.
"XYZ-Dragon Cannon, destroyed!"
A dark cloud lood, lightning struck, and the cannon exploded.
Jaden: "Ah, too bad. That was such a powerful monster..."
"It's fine," Kira said calmly. "Next, I activate 'Ojamandala' from my hand! I pay 1000 LP to Special Summon 'Ojama Green', 'Black', and 'Yellow' from my graveyard." (ani card, featured in several video gas)

"I revive the Ojama trio!"

The younger brother: "Tch, weak monsters again, but so persistent..."
"But summoning more weaklings is pointless," the elder brother said. "More walls just waste ti."
"Not necessarily."
Kira smiled, drawing another card.
"Don't underestimate the possibilities of weaklings. I activate 'Ojama Delta Hurricane!!' from my hand!"
"If I control Green, Yellow, and Black, destroy all opponent's cards!"
The brothers: "NANI?!"
The three goofy little monsters jumped up, stuck their triangle-pantied butts together, and spun like a tornado.
A tri-color storm surged, instantly shredding Gate Guardian.
Their eyes went red.
"Impossible!"
Their ultimate monster, the invincible Gate Guardian, destroyed by three joke monsters.
And with such a taunting move...
"Next, I activate 'White Elephant's Gift'! I send a non-effect monster to the graveyard to draw two cards. I send 'Ojama Black' and draw."
He drew, saw a certain card, and smiled.

Kira: "I set two cards face-down. Turn end."
At that mont, the brothers noticed Kira and Jaden exchanged a look.
Jaden gave Kira a thumbs-up; Kira nodded. Jaden seed to receive so secret ssage, looking pleased.

But the duel continued, so they pushed their doubts aside.
Younger brother: "My turn, draw—"
"At this mont," Kira said, flipping a card. "I activate the Trap—'Ojama Trio'! Special Summon three 'Ojama Tokens' to your field in Defense Position!"
Three tokens appeared on the brothers' field—one snoring butt-up, one sipping tea, one reading a newspaper.

What's this—just giving us resources for free?
"And another Trap—'Ojama Duo'!" Kira flipped another. "Special Summon two more 'Ojama Tokens' to your field!"

"Ojama Tokens can't be tributed for Tribute Summons," Kira explained. "And when destroyed, each inflicts 300 damage to their controller."
The brothers seed to understand.
"Hahaha, so it's a field lockdown tactic?" the elder brother laughed. "If you fill all five monster zones with tokens, the opponent can't summon monsters—a strong tactic, but you seem to forget that in tag duels, both players' fields are shared, so we have ten monster zones. Using this lockdown strategy shows you don't know tag duels well."
"Not quite," Kira smiled. "It's precisely because it's a tag duel that, with a teammate's help, the lock can be even stronger than usual."
"Exactly!" Jaden grinned. "Now, witness the ultimate lockdown powered by our bond!"
