Chu Li turned around and got out of the house. He opened the door and sat beside the stone table in the courtyard. His expression turned gloomy as he glanced through the letter.
Ji Xin stared at him unhappily.
Chu Li scoffed. “That Wen Tingdao!”
Ji Xin said, “You shouldn’t have given this guy the Detachnt Pills. Look what happened now? We’ve gotten ourselves into trouble, right? We’ve attracted the evil wolves with our fresh at!”
Chu Li took in a deep breath.
The letter was written by Wen Tingdao.

Chu Li stared at the letter and kept looking around as if he was trying to find a hidden ssage.

In the letter, Wen Tingdao said that he would release Li Ruolan if he obtained four more Detachnt Pills. If he did not get what he wanted, Li Ruolan would be released with her face ruined and even the Detachnt Pills would not be able to help her.
