Chapter 1192: Enter The Inner Cliff
Chu Li knew that sothing was off when Lu Zhengjun did not return after a long ti.
‘It’s very likely that Green Deer Cliff is beginning to suspect my identity. The best thing to do is to escape now before anyone finds , or I might not be able to escape once Green Deer Cliff gets involved.
‘But it had taken so much effort to get here, it’ll be such a pity to leave now. Since I have God’s Limbs, I can just leave right away if sothing goes wrong. Oh, I can’t use God’s Limbs. I’ll have to use my martial arts to escape.

He was extrely jealous of the Conscious Stone. Not only could it test one’s heart, but it could also restrain enemies by activating imdiately to force those within 0.3 miles into their dreamland. With that, one could be easily killed instead of going through an assassination.
Unfortunately, Chu Li could only think about the stone as he dared not steal it. Should he steal the stone, the entire Green Deer Cliff would hunt him down.

During dinner, Lu Zhengjun did not show up too. It was as if he had forgotten about Chu Li. Nonetheless, Chu Li felt more at peace.
He Shu and the other two outer cliff disciples gathered around him at the stone table by the forest. They had dinner together.
“Junior Brother Lu, you’re entering the inner cliff, congratulations!” He Shu exclaid, “You’re the first person in a hundred years to succeed. You have a bright future ahead of you, please take care of us in the future, Junior Brother Lu.”
Chu Li shook his head. “I’m afraid I won’t make it.”
“Was there a more powerful opponent?” He Shu quickly asked.
Chu Li replied, “I can’t really say, you’ll find out next ti.”
He was unsure if Conscious Hall’s existence was a secret, thus he wanted to save himself from trouble.
“Why can’t you tell us?” Zhang Ya was impatient. “You’ve defeated all the young disciples, can’t you enter the inner cliff?”
“There was another stage,” Chu Li ntioned, “but don’t ask about it.”
“Alright, we won’t ask, we won’t ask,” He Shu quickly said.
All of a sudden, footsteps were heard as Lu Zhengjun hurried over. He told Chu Li, “Follow there tomorrow, he wants to ask you sothing.”
“Alright,” Chu Li responded.
Lu Zhengjun looked at him again, then shook his head before he left.
He Shu and the others felt a serious atmosphere but dared not say a thing. So they continued to eat quietly and left after that.
The next morning, Chu Li followed Lu Zhengjun to Conscience Hall.
The morning sunlight shone brightly on the cliff.
Under the sunlight, the thatched cottage looked so still, it was as if ti had stopped.
Master’s Junior Hua was sunbathing on a white jade bed in front of the house. Upon seeing their arrival, Master’s Junior Hua pointed at the long stone opposite him.
Wind and frost had polished the stone so much that it was exceptionally smooth and comfortable to sit on.
“Honorable Master.” Lu Zhengjun gave him a fist salute.
Hua Tianyang waved his hand. “Sit, and don’t say a word.”
Chu Li saluted him with his fist.
Hua Tianyang retrieved the Conscience Stone carefully before he activated it.
This ti, the Conscience Stone shone more brightly in a black light which enveloped Chu Li almost instantly. Subsequently, Chu Li beca dizzy but he was still slightly conscious.
Hua Tianyang suddenly stopped. He then pointed at Chu Li’s chest. “Zhengjun, go take a look at what’s on his chest.”
Lu Zhengjun quickly pulled Chu Li’s collar apart, where he found a white jade pendant. He frowned. “Honorable Master, did you an this?”
“Remove it,” Hua Tianyang ordered.
Lu Zhengjun cut the jade pendant’s string with his own fingers, then held the white jade pendant in his hands. While he fixed his gaze on the pendant, his face changed as well. At last, Lu Zhengjun sighed.
“Bring it to ,” Hua Tianyang instructed.
Lu Zhengjun handed it to Hua Tianyang with both hands. “Honorable Master, his mother gave it to him.”
“It’s not an ordinary item, no wonder...” Hua Tianyang sighed. “It can calm his mind, and resist Conscience Hall’s effect.”
“Does it have such a magical effect?” Lu Zhengjun was stunned.
Hua Tianyang explained, “Though this pendant looks nothing out of the ordinary, it’s actually priceless. With this pendant, one can prolong one’s cultivation ti by an hour. In addition, one won’t succumb to internal demons — it’s a precious item.”
“No wonder he was fine even after cultivating so crazily.” Lu Zhengjun ca to a sudden realization.
He looked at the white jade and shook his head as he did not expect this at all.
Chu Li was still in a blur state as if he was dreaming. Hua Tianyang said, “Guard it for , I’ll go take a look at him.”
“Yes.” Lu Zhengjun nodded.
Hua Tianyang held the Conscience Stone in his right hand, then pressed the center of Chu Li’s brow with his left index finger.
He quivered for a while before he was drawn into Chu Li’s dreamland.
Once again, Hua Tianyang experienced the sa scenes as before. Although he withdrew his index finger, he still held on to the Conscience Stone tightly. Being conscious in Chu Li’s dream, Hua Tianyang asked Chu Li questions like, “Do you hate your father?”, “Do you have ulterior motives toward Green Deer Cliff?”, “Did you have any masters before this? Who are they?”, “Why did you co to Green Deer Cliff?”, and so on.
One by one, Chu Li answered them all.
Once the interrogation ended, Hua Tianyang let go of the Conscience Stone and kept it. He frowned at Chu Li, but he no longer felt that sothing was off about him.
Hua Tianyang looked at the white jade pendant held by Lu Zhengjun, then nodded as he understood that everything was due to the white jade pendant.
The pendant had allowed Chu Li to have a clear mind even when he was in a dream. As such, Chu Li was unaffected by evil thoughts.
Since the jade pendant had such a function, Chu Li was not an unfitting disciple, thus he could enter Green Deer Cliff’s inner cliff.
“Honorable Master, how was it?” Lu Zhengjun was eager to find out.
Hua Tianyang replied slowly, “He can enter the inner cliff.”
“Thank you so much, Honorable Master!” Lu Zhengjun was elated. He quickly gave Hua Tianyang a bow.
Hua Tianyang waved his hand. “It was all because of this jade pendant. It must be kept safely, you mustn’t lose it.”
“Yes.” Lu Zhengjun nodded.
He put it back into his pocket.
Hua Tianyang smiled.
Soon, Chu Li woke up.
Lu Zhengjun smiled brightly. “Go thank Honorable Master Hua now, you’ve passed the test!”
Dumbfounded, Chu Li bowed at Hua Tianyang with a fist salute.
Hua Tianyang waved his hand. “Congratulations. From now on, you’re a disciple of Green Deer Cliff’s inner cliff. Focus on your cultivation, I”m sure you’ll be an outstanding disciple in Green Deer Cliff since you’re a genius.”
“Yes.” Chu Li nodded calmly.
Hua Tianyang said to them, “Go on, go on.”
Lu Zhengjun bowed at him again, then left the cliff with Chu Li. Only then, Lu Zhengjun laughed out loud.
‘The first person in a hundred years. My illegitimate son is so remarkable that he beca the first person in a hundred years to succeed in this!’
Chu Li put his hand out.
Lu Zhengjun was startled.
Chu Li uttered, “Jade pendant!”
Lu Zhengjun replied, “I’ll keep it for you since you won’t need it now.”
Chu Li furrowed his brows at him.
Lu Zhengjun sighed before he handed the jade pendant back to Chu Li. When he looked at the jade pendant, he saw the gentle face of Lu Guangdi’s mother.
