Chapter 498 God's Appearance
"Haah… Haah…" A man, around 50 years of age, concealed himself behind a small hill inside a dark cave covered with a small layer of snow. A cold air left his lungs with every breath, and his strands of hair lay frozen in ice.
Behind the hill, a lightning storm raged, and a strange snowstorm that froze everything that was in its way.
Several tis, this man thought that even the sky was falling down at him. He thought today would be an ordinary day. He would go hunting and return ho with warm food waiting on the table.
However, it all changed instantly.
After hours of hunting, he managed to hunt two rabbits and prepared to leave. However, then strange storms appeared in the sky. The dark clouds corrupted the beautiful sky, then bolts of lightning and snowflakes appeared in the sky.
One of the snowflakes landed on top of one of the dead rabbits, and it froze instantly. The man imdiately realized that he was in the worst place possible. He tried to run away but could only reach the outskirts of the forest before the whole mountain fell apart and everything got scorched.
Luckily, he found a cave behind the hill and barely survived there. After thinking that he would be able to leave, the weather turned freezing cold, and he would die if he took one step out of the cave.
He didn't know how long the cave's ceiling would last, but he prayed for salvation. With two hands clasped together, he said, "Please, God, save from this peril."
…
Above the hidden clouds, the beautiful palace stood strongly.
"…" The God silently watched the whirling clouds that resembled a cyclone. With his piercing golden eyes, he could see past the cloud layers and saw the two people responsible for this imnse destruction.
"Not good…" He scratched his cheek while mumbling, "These two are strong ones and potential Generals of Humanity in the upcoming war. We can't allow them to fight…"
"But, what should I do…"
Then, God lifted his head from the cyclone and thought about going there himself. It was forbidden, but there were a few situations when he could go there.
One of them was possible doomsday. In his book, the current battle was the closest thing to doomsday in this world's history.
…
On top of the two-story building near the outskirts of Happylaugh, two young n argued.
"But it's cold!" A hairy-faced young man said while shaking in his boots. He held a phone in his left hand.
"Your hairy beard and hair will keep you warm. Now, grow so balls, and start recording!" The second young man had a baby face with short brown hair.
"Tsk." The hairy-faced young man started the recording program and pointed it towards destroyed Mount Faji. The phone screen showed a lightning storm and a snowstorm.
"Can you tell who they are?" The baby-faced young man asked.
"No… the lightning storm sses up with the quality." The hairy-faced young man tried to zoom in and out. However, the quality was still poor.
Then out of nowhere, his friend shouted, "Wow, what the hell is that?!"
"What is?" He turned to look at his friend, shouting. He was pointing towards the sky, which suddenly started radiating beautiful golden flashes.
He pointed the cara towards the ice-blue sky that suddenly turned golden!
A ray of light pierced through the white clouds and landed on top of Mount Faji. The golden light let out a chorus of angelic songs, and everyone who heard them turned silent.
Suddenly, the lightning storm and snowstorm disappeared. The mountainside turned silent and tranquil.
The phone screen suddenly blinked red, and it turned black. The battery suddenly died.
"Record it. What are you doing?!" His friend scread as he saw the hairy-faced man silently standing while holding the phone that showed nothing.
"Oh, right." The hairy-faced young man tried to turn the phone back on. However, it didn't start, "Oh no, the battery is dead. The lightning must have ssed it up!"
"God damn it!"
"Give your phone!"
"I left it at ho!"
"Damn it!"
…
Isaac and All-Arica silently stood in the middle of the scorched forest. Their faces had scratch marks.
All-Arica's face was half-frozen, and the other half had turned blue. It looked like he was suffering from a trendous cold.
Isaac's clothes were dark and smoking. He got hit by several lightning bolts and could still feel the currents of electricity running through his veins. It was painful.
The fighting ceased imdiately after the golden light engulfed them. They felt their minds turning calm like they were having a full-body massage session while bathing in hot springs.
A white-robed man appeared from the golden light. There was nothing special about him except the golden pupils.
"Can you two, perhaps, stop the fight?"
All-Arica's body stiffened. His mind ran into overdrive as he tried to think about the white-robed man's identity.
Isaac, however, stood silently while keeping his lips tightly shut. The mont golden light appeared, he knew who it was.
"You must be confused about my identity, correct?" God only looked at All-Arica while asking.
All-Arica slowly nodded.
"I am The God of Four Seasons."
All-Arica's mind exploded at the sudden news.
"I-I see…"
Then, he thought about several things that concerned God. After his talk with Typhon, the person who gave him his treasured legacy, he learned a lot about Gods. And, he knew that God wasn't allowed to interfere with earthly matters!
"With utmost honor and respect, I must say this is between him and ." All-Arica pointed at Isaac, "As far as I can see, Gods shouldn't be allowed to interfere."
Isaac glanced at All-Arica with a frown.
"True, I am not allowed to interfere." God nodded, "However, no one would mind if I stopped this fight."
"Are you sure?" All-Arica gulped, "Typhon wouldn't be pleased."
God didn't change his expression as he continued, "You two are forces of nature with enough strength to destroy a Continent. This kind of power wasn't ant for humans, and doing this will be harmful to humans."
