She wanted to see the world inside the door, to check if it matched her mories, now that Rhiannon wouldn’t be causing any trouble.

"Alright." The old man didn’t disturb her. "Your leg was injured, the bleeding has stopped, but you should still walk less and rest more."

"I understand, Master." Gia smiled sweetly. She was no longer in pain thanks to the dicine her master had applied.

The old man continued walking ahead, while Gia turned back to the row of houses again.

It was here in the morning that Rhiannon, the crazy girl, dragged her around, causing the images she had finally rembered to co to a sudden halt.

She pushed open the door with both hands; fortunately, it wasn’t locked. Gia stepped inside, and the faint scent of lily flowers greeted her.

She walked towards the bedroom, her footsteps light, her deanor composed, as if instantly transported back twenty years.

With the familiar layout of the bedroom, she moved towards the curtain, gently brushed it aside, and saw the closed door.

Without hesitation, Gia opened the hidden door, her movents as deft as if she had done it before.

Inside were heaps of her toys, tiny cars, all sorts of plush dolls, clothes racks with small clothes, little shoes, hats, figurines...

Everything here was neat and spotless.

Clearly, this was a toy storage room.

She slowly looked around, faintly recalling her childhood, how she loved this room, and often brought friends over to play...

Childhood mories gradually resurfaced, tears gathering in Gia’s eyes as she returned to her childhood ho... The Xavier Family.

Who was she?

She vaguely rembered, the servants respectfully called her Miss, she lived here surrounded by love...

Gia walked into the toy storage room, gently touching each item, mories becoming clearer.

At this mont, Nathan Xavier returned and ca to Gia’s place, "Sir, may I ask where Gia went? I need to see her."

The old man turned his eyes at the sound, "Young Master." He greeted him respectfully, then pointed outside, "She went into that room."

Nathan looked in the direction the old man pointed, seeing the row of houses not far away, the hall door wide open.

"Alright, thank you. I’ll go find her." He turned and left, holding a diagnostic report.

Just as Gia gently closed the door to the toy room and prepared to leave, she stepped out of the bedroom only to see Nathan Xavier entering the hall.

Their eyes t, both pausing their steps, her chest felt a slight contraction.

Nathan was delighted to see his sister.

But Gia, upon seeing him, felt inexplicably guilty, knowing this was a forbidden place, "Sorry, I didn’t disrupt anything here, I was just looking."

Her explanation was cautious, her eyes filled with sincerity.

This made Nathan anxious, his face with a gentle smile, "No, no, no problem, I just ca to check on you. Is your leg better?"

"Mhm, mhm." She nodded, "It doesn’t hurt anymore, Master swapped the dication."

"Master?"

"Dr. Downey." She quickly added.

Nathan thought she had apprenticed under him, so he didn’t question further, "Gia." He called her na, then looked around, "Do you feel familiar with this place?" Otherwise, why co here again?

The girl was slightly startled, she hadn’t shared this feeling with anyone, why did he make such a judgnt?

Nathan noticed her caution and wariness, "Co on, I’ll take you to another place, perhaps there are so new mories there."

mories?
