When the Wind is Sweet: The Fairy Tale of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster Chapter 847: Rachel Sherman’s Hidden Talent
"At ho, co on over, Auntie is showing off her skills today, she’s made a lot of delicious pastries. I think we can introduce these as new products in our dessert shop."
Faye Turner warmly welcod the arrival of her good friends; it had been a few days since they last t.
Rachel Sherman told her over the phone, "We’ll be right over." She didn’t ntion that Chase Fletcher was feeling unwell, only saying, "I’ll bring June and Chase over."
As long as she’s at ho, they can talk about all these symptoms later, perhaps even have her diagnose Chase’s problem directly.
As a traditional dicine doctor, Faye Turner is very accurate in pulse diagnosis, and Rachel knows she’s a disciple of Dr. Downey.
Today is Saturday, so Adrian Lancaster is also at ho. He prioritizes spending ti with family and is at ho during holidays unless absolutely necessary.
He arranges work for weekdays, dedicating more ti to his wife and children, enjoying a perfect life.
"Will Chase be coming too?" Adrian Lancaster asked.
"Yes, along with June."
"That’s perfect, we can discuss the Cove Serein Resort project with him." Adrian Lancaster sat down on the sofa, casually picked up a bell, entertaining the baby daughter playing in the cradle, his eyes full of gentle love.
Soon, Chase Fletcher’s car parked in the courtyard in front of The Lancaster Family’s villa, next to the Lamborghini.
Dressed casually, he got out from the driver’s seat and opened the rear car door.
Rachel Sherman got out of the car holding June, and Chase imdiately took June from her, with June resting her head on his shoulder, wrapping her small arms around his neck.
Rachel closed the car door, and together they stepped towards the villa’s living room.
The location of Adrian Lancaster’s villa is truly premium, close to the city center but quiet and livable.
Upon entering the living room, after a brief exchange of pleasantries, Faye asked the maid to bring out the freshly made pastries—
"Have a taste and see what ingredients were used?" Faye handed two pieces to Rachel and two to Chase, then asked the maid to feed June.
Chase Fletcher took a spoonful in his mouth, only to find the texture excellent, "Delicious, it’s quite good."
Rachel took the ti to savor it, concluding, "This almond flour is imported from Korea, right? It’s so authentic, much better than the ones we had in the store last ti."
Faye nodded, "Yes, and what else?"
Rachel took another small bite, savoring it, "The butter tastes nice, not too much added, but it’s there, very fragrant."
"Hmm." Faye was very pleased, always thinking she had a talent for this, and if she pursued it, she’d beco a great pastry chef.
Rachel added, "The chocolate is Valrhona, the brown sugar is Korean, the cheese slices and cream cheese are from France, with a hint of vanilla bean."
Chase was stunned to hear this, amazed at how knowledgeable his wife was.
Faye gave her a thumbs-up, "Absolutely correct, how does it taste?"
"Delicious."
"It shouldn’t be a problem for the dessert shop staff to learn this and make it a new product, right?"
"Not at all, but the price... might have to be doubled."
"It’s not about profit, it’s about giving back to our loyal custors." Faye had already thought of a plan, "It can be a temporary promotion."
After discussing the pastries, Adrian Lancaster personally made tea, and a maid took the kids to play.
"Faye, Chase hasn’t been feeling well recently, and he doesn’t want to go to the hospital, so we’d like to ask you to check his pulse and see what’s wrong." Rachel sat down on the sofa.
Adrian looked at Chase, "Not feeling well?"
"I’m actually okay, it’s just that going to the hospital is cumberso, but getting a check-up is necessary." Chase’s voice was gentle.
Faye looked at him, asking, "What’s bothering you?"
