The nanny was brought over by Rachel Sherman, so she didn’t know Jasmine Quinn. But judging by her appearance, she seed to be a distinguished guest of the Fletcher Family. She was organizing her words, preparing how to respond.

At this mont, Mrs. Fletcher ca out, carrying a tray of pastries.

"Grandma, Grandma..." June called out excitedly when she saw her, her little legs kicking energetically.

This call of ’Grandma’ stunned Jasmine Quinn!!

Mrs. Fletcher bent down to place the tray of pastries on the coffee table and picked up a small piece to hand to June, "Here, take this."

June’s small, fair hand accurately grabbed it, then put it into her mouth, breaking into a big smile after taking a bite.

This was the flavor June liked, so Mrs. Fletcher had made so more recently.

"Jasmine, you should try so too." Mrs. Fletcher sat down on the sofa.

June reached out to the nanny, wanting a hug, and the nanny bent over to pick her up and carried her away since there were guests at ho, and it wasn’t suitable to disturb them.

Jasmine Quinn’s gaze fell on the child’s back and was just about to ask, whose child is this?

"Jasmine, do you know how this osmanthus cake is made?" Mrs. Fletcher began explaining the osmanthus cake to her, as she didn’t want Jasmine to know too much about the child for the ti being.

So she didn’t interrupt and listened, gradually reining in her thoughts.

No matter whose child it was, it couldn’t possibly be Chase’s, right? As long as it’s not Chase’s, everything is fine!

After tasting the osmanthus cake, Mrs. Fletcher invited her to stay for dinner, which made Jasmine very happy.

"Where is Chase? When is he coming back?" she asked considerately, "Shall we wait for him? I’m not hungry yet."

"He’s not coming back for dinner; he’s gone to President Lancaster’s house." Mrs. Fletcher said while preparing the tableware, "Your uncle isn’t coming back today either."

Despite the sumptuous dinner, Jasmine Quinn couldn’t muster any enthusiasm and had to force a smile.

She had chosen a day when he wasn’t working late to co over, but... he wasn’t ho!

So she didn’t enjoy this al after all.

Shortly after dinner, she waited for Chase for a while, but he didn’t co back. As it was getting late, she bid farewell to her aunt and took a taxi ho.

In the evening, at the Lancaster Family’s house.

Grandfather ca over, and both Milo Turner and Chase, along with Rachel Sherman, affectionately called him Grandfather and took turns playing a ga of chess with the old man.

Grandfather was very happy tonight; so many younger family mbers were with him, playing chess, sipping tea, chatting, and he even held little Joy for half an hour.

Little princess Joy had grown a bit bigger, chubby and very cute, with a pretty face carrying a bit of baby fat, looking like a beautiful doll.

Her eyes were as beautiful as black gemstones, always looking around curiously, and she wasn’t shy around strangers, anyone could hold her.

When Rachel Sherman held her, her heart almost lted, "Babies are at their cutest at this age."

"I hope she grows up quickly to be able to walk like June." Faye Turner was quite expectant.

Her tiny front teeth were about to erge, making her even more adorable with each passing day.

It wasn’t until nine o’clock in the evening that Adrian Lancaster arranged for soone to send Grandfather and his mother-in-law back ho, while Chase took Rachel Sherman away, and Faye Turner personally put the little baby to sleep.

She ca out after taking a bath and saw Adrian Lancaster standing in front of the window, lost in thought, just like the previous night. Faye Turner surmised that he had sothing on his mind.

Even though the atmosphere during dinner was so good, with smiles frequently on his face.

She walked towards him with soft steps, treading on the carpet with slippers, so lightly that Adrian Lancaster didn’t notice her.

When she reached his back, he caught a faint scent of herbal dicine wafting through the air from her body, the sll that cald him, bringing Adrian Lancaster back to his senses.

At this mont, Faye Turner stretched out her arms to embrace his waist, gently resting her cheek against his back, "Adrian, have you been facing any troubles recently?"

She loved him and wanted to share so of his burdens.
