On the way up the mountain, Adrian Lancaster was truly worried, his brows furrowed into a river shape, feeling sadness he hadn’t experienced in a long ti.

His mood was really at rock bottom.

His driving skills were excellent, and despite the rough mountain road, it took only about ten minutes uphill before the car finally stopped in front of a temple.

The luxurious, shiny car was sowhat out of place in this setting.

After getting out, Adrian Lancaster closed the car door, took a look around, and then walked directly inside.

A Taoist priest in plain clothes happened to co out, holding a fly whisk in his hand, his facial wrinkles more pronounced, and the two t face to face.

"Mr. Lancaster?" The Taoist priest recognized him, surprised by his visit, especially since he ca alone, without any entourage.

"Hello, Master." Adrian Lancaster showed no airs, dressed in his sharp suit, respectfully bowing, "I’ve co today to see you, without an appointnt, a bit presumptuous, please pardon ."

Such humility and courtesy, his personal charm fully displayed.

Though secluded in the mountains, the Taoist priest watched the news. Everything had been going well for the Lancaster Family recently, and they seed very happy, so he couldn’t guess the purpose of Adrian Lancaster’s trip up the mountain.

"Please, co in." The Taoist priest welcod him and led him to the backyard.

The mountain scenery was elegant and tranquil, filled with the sound of wind rustling the leaves.

The Taoist priest personally brewed a pot of fine tea and hosted him, "Mr. Lancaster, please sit, feel free to tell what brings you here."

"I would like you to help figure out if my wife’s biological parents are still alive? If they are, where are they? Can you provide any clues for my search?" Adrian Lancaster sat on a stone bench, not at all impatient, his tone very calm.

The Taoist priest handed him a cup of tea, knowing who his wife was, as he had done their marriage fortunes before, so he was relatively familiar with Faye Turner’s situation.

"They are still alive." The Taoist priest did not leave him in suspense, "They live in the southeast, she is the daughter of a wealthy family, Mrs. Lancaster is very blessed, her fortune doubled after she married you."

Hearing this, he seed to see hope, and urgently asked, "Can you...calculate anything else?"

The Taoist priest shook his head, "After all, I’m not a deity, I don’t know her biological parents’ nas, only from her appearance can I tell she’s soone blessed, her original family wouldn’t be lacking."

A mountain breeze blew past, Adrian Lancaster’s emotions stirred, with both joy and worry, he asked, "Then... is there a chance of reunion in this life?"

This was very important.

"Yes." The Taoist priest answered directly without hesitation, "When the ti cos, you will naturally et."

Hearing this, Adrian Lancaster felt a burst of happiness inside.

He raised his teacup, nodded again to express his gratitude, then looked around and asked, "Is there anything here that needs renovation? I am willing to cover this portion of the costs on behalf of the company."

"Thank you for your kindness, but there is no need for now."

After chatting with the Taoist priest for a while, learning so history about the temple, and drinking tea, Adrian Lancaster took his leave.

Perhaps because of the temple’s different aura, sitting there for a while, when Adrian Lancaster drove down the mountain, his mood had significantly improved compared to when he was going up.

Perhaps everything hinges on fate? You can’t force it.

So, after descending the mountain, while driving, he dialed his subordinate’s number, quietly saying, "Put this on hold for now, don’t search anymore."

The other person was stunned for a mont, "Okay, boss." Even though he didn’t know what had happened, he followed the arrangent.

After ending the call, Adrian Lancaster then dialed Chloe Gable’s number, now speaking much more softly, "Mom, Milo’s done with exams, how about a family dinner tonight? Should we eat out or at our place?"

"Let’s go to your place." Chloe Gable responded cheerfully, "It’s a good opportunity to see Joy, and eating out isn’t hygienic."

"Okay, shall I co pick you up now?" he asked happily.

"Now?"

"Whenever, I have ti anyway, if you prefer later it’s fine too." Adrian Lancaster’s mood suddenly improved greatly, "I can co pick you up anyti."
