Half an hour later—

On Rachel Sherman’s first day at work, she beca the center of attention at the Fletcher Group. There had been rumors, and today she made her appearance.

Many people saw her getting out of President Fletcher’s car, following him out.

"Good day, President Fletcher."

"Good morning, President Fletcher."

"Morning, President Fletcher."

In the lobby, Chase Fletcher walked with Rachel towards the elevator. Along the way, the company employees they encountered all stopped to bow and greet him respectfully.

Having been with him for so long, Rachel, for the first ti, felt a powerful aura.

She also noticed many eyes were on her, so she could only walk through the crowd with a polite smile.

The mont the elevator doors closed, Rachel turned her eyes to him, feeling a slow suffocating sensation in her chest.

He reached out and patted her on the shoulder for comfort.

"A warm welco to my sister-in-law joining our Fletcher Group!" Ben Fletcher made an exaggerated welcoming gesture the mont the office door opened.

Chase Fletcher was already used to it and had anticipated it.

But Rachel was slightly startled, then smiled, "Hello, Assistant Fletcher."

"Why so formal? Should I start calling you Secretary Sherman?" Ben asked and quickly corrected himself, "Would you feel uncomfortable if everyone in the company called you sister-in-law?"

"No matter where, I would feel uncomfortable," Rachel replied with a smile.

Ben thought for a mont and quickly adjusted, "Hello, Rachel!"

"Sounds good." Rachel was easygoing, "Hello, Ben." She and Ben got along quite well, frequently eting at The Fletcher Family, and Ben was also kind to June.

"Calling Ben sounds intimate! I like it! By the way, Rachel, this is your desk, personally arranged by my brother!" He led her forward—

"Yesterday, he really didn’t have ti. My brother instructed to buy lilies, concerned they wouldn’t be fresh, so I arranged them for you this morning. I chose them! How do you like the color?" Ben explained, leaning against the desk, with a face full of pride, looking at Chase Fletcher.

Chase Fletcher, in his suit and tie, always appeared calm and gentle, his eyes full of smiling intent as he looked at Rachel, without saying a word.

"No wonder I slled lilies as soon as I walked in." Rachel loved lilies, just like Faye Turner loved sunflowers.

She approached the desk, smiling as she admired its arrangent, "Very beautiful, I like it a lot, thank you, Assistant Fletcher."

In the company, what else should she call him if not Assistant Fletcher?

Everyone called him that, so Ben was used to it.

This morning, Chase Fletcher needed to go to the club. He glanced at the ti on his wrist and then said to Ben—

"Ben, connect with Rachel about the secretary’s work arrangents and introduce her to the company culture. I have to head to the club first."

"Won’t you need to accompany you today?" Ben knew that, according to the schedule, he should.

But then he quickly understood, "Alright, take care on the road yourself, I’ve got everything here! I’ll make sure Rachel gets acquainted."

Chase Fletcher nodded, "Thanks for your hard work." Then he picked up so docunts from the desk, bid farewell to Rachel, and turned to leave.

In the company, he beca a completely different person, mature, restrained, and in control of everything.

After he left, Ben told Rachel, "Rachel, did you know? Before you agreed to join Fletcher Group, my brother would always have a stern look in the office, like soone owed him a billion dollars."

Rachel sat down at her desk, resting her elbow on the surface, her chin in her palm, looking at him with a smile, "Really? Go on." Listening intently to his complaints.
