You can’t win against President Lancaster, Rachel Sherman can’t gain the upper hand here, at least not tonight.

So, the old couple stood up by themselves and his subordinates took them away, closing the door behind them.

"Let go, we can walk ourselves!"

It was truly awkward to death!

"Rachel." Faye Turner asked worriedly from the sofa, "Have they always been bothering you like this?"

Holding her daughter whom she had just comforted, she sighed wearily—

"Dylan Shaw was delivering food a while ago, and by sheer coincidence, I ordered a serving of dumplings, and he took the order, so he found out where I live."

Faye Turner’s heart clenched tightly upon hearing this, but she didn’t interrupt.

Then Rachel Sherman explained the outrageous events of that day in detail, not far away, Adrian Lancaster also frowned as he listened.

Rachel said, "He was taken away by the police, and will probably be sentenced."

Upon hearing this news, Faye Turner felt really hurt inside; such a drastic change in just a few years for a couple once so good together.

Dylan Shaw also beca unbearable; Mr. Shaw and Mrs. Shaw before and after the marriage, were entirely two-faced.

It was really sothing to lant.

"Actually, this might be for the best." Rachel smiled, comforting herself, and her friend, "A complete break ans I don’t have to worry so much anymore; I’m more relieved, without a sense of guilt."

But Faye Turner knew, deep down inside she must be suffering, as a failed marriage can leave certain scars on the heart.

"Life wasn’t good before either, I was just mad, but never thought about divorce; now that I look back, those days were deadly and absolutely ridiculous."

Rachel hugged June, and with a bitter smile, she said to Faye Turner—

"You know? Once I went to take a shower, and I told Dylan Shaw, ’Watch the baby,’ and he nodded in agreent while playing gas."

"Halfway through my shower, I heard the baby crying, screaming ’Mommy’ outside, and when I rushed to dry myself and co out, he was still playing with his phone, while June lay in the cradle crying; I held the baby and complained about his indifference, do you know what he said?"

Faye Turner couldn’t imagine, shook her head, and asked, "What did he say?"

Rachel smiled, "He said the baby was calling ’Mommy,’ not ’Daddy.’" At this mont, she seed to beco an observer as she recalled the event.

Those words left Faye Turner utterly thunderstruck.

Rachel said, "I was furious then, felt like I was about to explode with anger, but... I never considered divorce, actually if I didn’t divorce, spending a lifeti with him would be a terrifying thing."

So, a good marriage really requires luck.

Before marriage, you can’t see anything.

If Rachel hadn’t said sothing, Faye Turner wouldn’t have known that Dylan Shaw behaved this way in marriage.

"Fortunately, everything bitters will eventually turn sweet." Faye Turner comforted her as a good friend, "When June grows up, she will certainly be very caring."

Thinking of her daughter, Rachel Sherman also felt quite relieved.

"When Joy grows up, she will definitely be a beauty." Rachel said to her with confidence, "It’s rare for a baby to be this pretty, very rare; June was particularly dark when she was little, she only started looking better at nearly seven months."

When talking about their children, the two won’s eyes sparkled with starlight.

Soon, Adrian Lancaster ca over holding a plate of cut waterlon, "Shall I take care of the kid?" he said, reaching out to his daughter, "Co, co, daddy will hold you."
