Eliza Hayes was overjoyed; this was the fourth ti she’d seen him move since that day.

"He moved, he moved!! Your father is responding!" Eliza Hayes shifted her body to the side to show Adrian Lancaster the slightly moving fingers.

Everyone in the room focused their attention and indeed saw those long fingers move slightly.

This was the light of hope!!

"Let check Dad’s pulse." Faye Turner said as she sat down in the chair by the bed, then turned her gaze and asked, "Have the herbal dicines I prescribed been taken on ti?"

"Yes, but it’s all finished. It ended yesterday." Eliza Hayes thought this was the effect of the herbal dicine.

Faye gently picked up Caleb Lancaster’s wrist and carefully took his pulse, which had indeed improved greatly compared to before.

There were signs of awakening, just needed to keep up the effort.

"I’ll write another prescription. Adrian, when you have a chance, go to Dr. Aiken to get the dicine." Faye Turner had just spoken.

A servant handed over paper and pen.

Adrian Lancaster replied, "Write it up, and I’ll go. We’ll have the kitchen brew it later."

"Okay."

Faye had truly received the true teachings of Old Mr. Downey; each unique prescription could take treatnt of complicated illnesses a big step forward.

After writing the prescription, Adrian Lancaster personally went to get the dicine.

Upon returning, Faye instructed the servant responsible for brewing the dicine on the necessary precautions.

It wasn’t until evening that Adrian Lancaster left there with Faye and their adorable daughter.

Eliza Hayes stayed by her husband’s side, not leaving even for a mont, waiting for him to wake up.

Once he opened his eyes, she would imdiately share this good news with everyone.

Lately, whether in the financial or entertainnt news, the headlines were all about Joy Lancaster’s birth.

The full-month celebration arrangents had already been hinted at; it would be grand.

All dia were anticipating it, another huge wave of traffic, the city’s celebration day was not yet over.

"Faye, I spent four hundred million to buy a luxury cruise ship and nad it The Joy," Adrian Lancaster, seated by the bed holding his wife’s hand, lovingly gazed at the crib beside them.

"Four hundred million?" Faye was stunned by his extravagance.

"Yes." He said nonchalantly, quite proud, "It’s a gift for my daughter."

Faye thought he was indeed such a super doting father; she was a bit worried he might spoil the child in the future.

"Then I’ll thank Daddy on Joy’s behalf first." Yet she didn’t want to discourage his enthusiasm for being good to their daughter.

Adrian Lancaster looked at her, a bit hesitating.

Faye was sharp; having been with him for so long, she understood what he was thinking just by looking at him, "What’s up? Do you have sothing else to tell ? Was this just a prelude?"

"Well..."

"It’s okay, just say it." Faye was curious, what was it that needed his careful consideration?

"I invited a psychologist over to do an evaluation for you; I’m worried about your postpartum depression." Adrian Lancaster was very anxious, "Please don’t be upset, I’m doing it for you."

The term postpartum depression was utterly foreign to Faye!

In such a warm and loving family, how could she possibly be depressed?

But she noticed that a young woman was already standing by the door, quietly and gently watching inside.

Faye turned her gaze back to Adrian Lancaster, "..." Speechless for a mont.

"Faye."

He still held her hand, "Dear, I’ve been reading so books lately, and they ntion postpartum depression, which indeed has signs. We can check to rule it out and feel more at ease."

"Sure, that’s fine." She agreed readily, feeling he was too nervous, too caring for her.

For his peace of mind, she was willing to cooperate.
