She closed her eyes and mustered her courage, murmuring softly, her voice like a gentle whisper.

But Byron heard every word clearly.

How could he possibly respond to that?

Kylie Fletcher held onto him tightly, each second was so precious to her!

Byron regained his composure and gently pushed her away from his embrace with a gentlemanly grip on her shoulders.

Their eyes t, and the girl’s thick eyelashes trembled involuntarily.

She instantly sobered up, blushing and lowering her gaze, then looked up again with a goofy smile.

"Not on set today?" Byron withdrew his fingers from her shoulder and took a step back, opening a new conversation.

Kylie also ca back to her senses and replied without embarrassnt, "Taking a day off, the director has sothing going on!" She then glanced around, "You’re a teacher now?"

Byron looked around too, "Would you like to help plan? See how we can arrange the interior to be both practical and nice?"

"You’ve already done a great job!" She blurted out, "The decor is tasteful too, not flashy!"

Then, she put her hands behind her back and tilted her head to look at him, "Mr. Moss, could you teach calligraphy?"

Byron scrutinized her, "You want to learn?"

"Mhm mhm," she nodded vigorously seeing he had no intention of refusing, her heart blossoming with a bright little flower.

As long as he’s willing to teach, as long as she wants to learn, she would have countless opportunities to co see him!

Byron asked, "Do you want to learn pen or brush calligraphy?"

"Brush."

"Follow upstairs." He withdrew his gaze and turned to walk toward the stairs.

Since she was here, he could also show her around upstairs.

Kylie’s heart leapt with joy and she quickly followed!

If she beca his student, wouldn’t that an she could interact with him openly? She’d often co to find him!!

Upstairs, she found Byron walking into a classroom with a sign on the door—Adult Classes.

"Mr. Moss." Her face turned slightly pale, she halted and asked, gazing at his back, "You’re teaching adult classes too?"

"Yes."

"..." But suddenly, her heart felt as if it had been struck by sothing, a bit of pain and jealousy.

There shouldn’t be many n learning calligraphy, right?

The adult class should be for those wealthy and leisurely housewives.

So...

She genuinely didn’t want Byron to interact with any other won but her!

Yet she had no position to stop this.

"What’s wrong?"

Seeing her lost in thought, Byron turned to inquire.

She suppressed her inner grievances, gazing at the large adult classroom, where a bouquet of flowers rested on the windowsill.

Byron was so handso, surely many won would be fond of him, right?

"The classes haven’t started yet, have they?" Kylie asked, stepping towards him with mixed feelings inside.

"Not yet, but soon."

eting his gaze, she asked with a sly smile, "Am I your first student then?"

"..."

Quickly, she thought he might have done tutoring before and rapidly corrected herself, "The first student in the training class!"

"Counted." he affird her.

They exchanged looks, and an excitent shone in Kylie’s eyes. She felt extrely honored and happy with this status!

Then Byron turned to prepare the brushes and paper.

He picked out three brushes and said to her, "Our textbooks ntion brush pens, generally saying that Miles Montgory invented them."

"Miles Montgory was a Qin dynasty general, wasn’t he the one who invented brush pens?" Kylie approached him, asking curiously, "I studied this person in high school."

Byron prepared the ink for her with ease and said—

"According to new archaeological findings, brush pens were already discovered in 5000-year-old tombs at Jiangzhai, Lintong, Shaanxi, while Miles Montgory was a figure of the 3rd century BC."
