Sitting in the car, Faye Turner twisted her neck to observe the mother and son through the window... she couldn’t help but feel a bit worried.

Adrian Lancaster saw her not answering, which ant there was nothing wrong.

So he didn’t say goodbye to his mother either, withdrew his gaze, and turned to walk toward his own car, leaving an arrogant, indifferent back.

This attitude made Eliza Hayes clench her fists, her heart trembling slightly.

In the back seat of the Lamborghini, Adrian Lancaster bent his noble body, sat in the car, and sat beside Faye Turner.

The car door closed, and Mr. Kerr quickly drove the car away.

Eliza Hayes stood there coldly watching the car leave, clenching her teeth tightly, anger burning in her eyes!

After just seeing his mother, sitting next to Faye Turner, Adrian Lancaster’s mood was evidently affected, his handso face showing a hint of coldness.

Although he held her hand, cherishingly rubbing it lightly in his palm, he gave her a faint smile, "It’s all right now, let’s go ho for dinner."

Faye Turner, however, could feel the subtle chill emanating from him, sensing his effort to restrain himself.

Just as Faye considered asking him what had happened.

Adrian Lancaster pulled out his phone with his other hand, dialed his grandfather’s number, hearing it ring but no one answered for a long ti.

Listening to the familiar ringtone, a slight pang hit Faye’s heart, "Adrian, should we go check on Grandpa first?"

She had a premonition that sothing must have happened over there.

Adrian Lancaster shifted his gaze, shook his head, then smiled with his handso features, "Today, let’s first go to your house for dinner; Mom and Shane must have been busy for hours, we can’t let them down, as promised."

"..." Faye was sowhat in a dilemma, but seeing the determination in his eyes, she chose not to say more.

At that mont, the phone in Adrian Lancaster’s palm rang. He looked down to see it was Grandpa calling, and quickly answered.

Before he could ask about Grandpa’s condition, the old man took the lead, "Adrian, what’s up? Why were you trying to reach Grandpa?"

Hearing the robust and pleasant tone in the old man’s voice, Adrian Lancaster breathed a sigh of relief.

He candidly said, "Grandpa, my mom ca to the company to find just now."

"Eliza?" The old man was puzzled, not knowing about this at all, and asked in confusion, "Why did she go to the company? What did she say?"

"She said that the Taoist priest ca down the mountain to find you, talked about sothing, which upset you, and told to go ho and check. This matter relates to ," Adrian Lancaster recounted truthfully.

The old man’s expression changed slightly on the other end of the phone, his breathing a bit heavy, "I’m fine; you don’t need to co back. When you’re off work, properly explain to Faye your secret eting with your ex-girlfriend at the café. Just because the news got suppressed doesn’t an it didn’t happen."

"I understand, Grandpa." Adrian Lancaster felt a bit embarrassed.

Faye turned her gaze towards the outside window, pursing her lips; the matter with Sienna was a closed Chapter for her.

Because Faye understood Adrian’s fixation, as Shane might have been the only light he could grasp in his relatively dark childhood.

The call continued, and Adrian Lancaster softly said, "We’ll visit you tomorrow. Today we plan to have dinner at Faye’s mother’s house, and we’re on our way now."

"Alright then, go ahead."

After the call ended, the old man on the second floor of the old house turned to open the door and asked the servant outside, "Did Madam go out?"

"Yes, Old Master, she left a while ago."

The old man nodded with a stern face, "Okay, I see."

He returned to his room, closed the door, went to the window, took out his phone, and dialed a number, giving a low command—

"Help check on Madam’s recent whereabouts. I want detailed records of her outings, whom she t, what she did each ti she went out."

"Understood, Old Master. I’ll do it as soon as possible."

After hanging up, the grandfather furrowed his thick, slightly graying eyebrows, his expression glooming, evidently suspicious of the Taoist priest’s sudden descent and change of words.

And the primary suspect was this troubleso Eliza Hayes.
