Eliza Hayes also ca prepared and followed him inside, entering uninvited.

She saw the old Taoist priest sitting on a stone bench in the backyard, with a kettle of boiling water on the round stone table. He picked up the kettle and began making tea.

The middle-aged woman smiled and said, "Taoist priest, I’ll get straight to the point to not take up too much of your ti. I ca today to invite you to co down the mountain."

The old Taoist priest slightly furrowed his brows and, without looking at her, said, "Madam, eting you today is different from the past."

"Oh?" She was sowhat curious and asked, "In what way is it different?"

The Taoist priest raised his eyes and said indifferently, "Your face has four words written on it: obstinate and unreceptive."

Such frank words made Eliza Hayes’s face go cold, "I don’t care if you’re a Taoist priest, even if you’re a deity, you have to make this deal with today!"

With a wave of her hand, the henchman following closely behind ca in, his face fierce, handing a phone to the Taoist priest—

"Help, who are you guys? Why are you capturing ? Help..."

The familiar elderly voice trembling from the phone caused the Taoist priest’s finger to tremor, spilling the boiling tea water onto the round table.

Eliza Hayes’s cold gaze fixed on him, her complexion gradually turning pale.

The Taoist priest raised his eyes to look at the offered phone, forgetting even to set down the teapot.

"Help, don’t tie up, my arm hurts..."

On the screen, his 94-year-old mother was being held by two large n on either side, looking pained and unable to move.

The Taoist priest heavily put down the teapot, looking at Eliza Hayes with burning rage!

"Taoist priest, don’t worry. My people know limits and won’t harm your mother." The middle-aged woman slightly curled her lips, leisurely sat opposite him, and gestured for her henchman to leave.

She noticed the change in the Taoist priest’s expression.

Taking a cup of tea, she smiled and took a leisurely sip, "Taoist priest, you and I have no enmity; I don’t wish to make things difficult for you."

"What do you want to do?" The old Taoist priest said, full of pride, looking at her.

Eliza Hayes spoke bluntly, "Find ti tomorrow to go down the mountain and tell my old man it was wrong when you predicted my son’s marriage."

"What?" The old Taoist priest was incredulous.

Eliza Hayes took several photos of Sienna Dawson from her bag, directly handing them to the Taoist priest, "Look at this girl, doesn’t she resemble my current daughter-in-law sowhat?"

The Taoist priest instantly understood the aning, his face looking very unsightly!

Eliza Hayes threatened him with his mother, "If you want us to release your mother, don’t hesitate, tomorrow take these photos to the elder."

"Mrs. Hayes, turning back is the shore," the Taoist priest advised, "Destiny cannot be violated; what you’re doing is pointless."

"I don’t believe there are deities in the world; your prediction was inaccurate." The woman took a sip of tea, sneering, "Man conquers nature, right? Nothing is difficult as long as you’re willing to climb."

The Taoist priest sighed heavily, "A destined relationship cannot be disrupted."

"I’ll say it one last ti, if you want to save your mother, do as I say." Eliza Hayes set down the teacup and stood up, "Tomorrow, I’ll be waiting for you at the old house."

The Taoist priest’s heart shook violently, deeply conflicted, worrying more about his mother.

"I won’t disturb you anymore, goodbye." She was polite, even bowing to him, then smiling as she turned and left.

Watching the woman’s figure disappear at the door, the Taoist priest felt a mix of indescribable emotions, in shock, regret, and sighed...
