The parents-in-law who had been waiting outside the door saw their son with his hand covering his face, furious, and his face swollen, and felt a heavy thud in their hearts!

"Rachel!!" The mother-in-law hurried in, her anger rising uncontrollably, "What did you do? Did you hit him?!!"

"Speak up!!" The mother-in-law, in a fit of panic, went straight into a frenzy, pushing Rachel onto the bed, "Did you hit my son?!!"

At this mont, Dylan Shaw’s voice shouted loudly from outside—

"I will never agree to divorce! No matter how long it takes, I will persist until it drains you!!" After speaking, Dylan Shaw stord out!

He completely left the house.

Rachel felt utterly despondent, yet had to endure the frantic pushing from his mother.

Her mother-in-law leaned over the bed like a madwoman, furiously beating her daughter-in-law—

"You wretched woman! My son cooked for you, bought you flowers! He worked at ho all afternoon while you maintained a cold face, and then you actually hit him!!"

"I raised my son to this point without ever laying a finger on him!" The mother-in-law started her hysterics.

Rachel was simply overwheld, feeling crushed and breathless, her clothes on the verge of being torn to shreds.

"Let go of !" She snapped, pushing her mother-in-law away and standing up, "If you touch again, I’ll call the police!"

"What?!" The mother-in-law was stunned, "You want to call the police?? You’re actually going to call the police??"

Rachel stord out of the bedroom, taking June from her father-in-law’s arms, and also stord out!

This ho was simply unbearable for another minute!!

At this mont, purple-red sunset clouds roiled in the sky, partially obscured behind the nearly thousand-year-old camphor tree in front of The Lockwood Old Manor’s main villa.

The beautiful twilight, as if taking form in an instant, poured through the dense foliage, dappling the grass with exquisite beauty.

The Lamborghini ca to a halt in the yard.

Adrian Lancaster and Faye Turner got out of the car, striding toward the living room, but the grandfather didn’t co out to greet them like usual.

Inside the living room, the servants quickly greeted them, "Good day, young master, madam."

Unlike usual days, there were no smiles on their faces, instead a hint of worry between their brows.

Adrian Lancaster and Faye Turner almost simultaneously asked, "Where’s Grandpa?"

The two maids exchanged glances, unsure of how to respond, their faces showing difficulty.

The young couple’s hearts skipped a beat.

At this mont, Mr. Hayes ca quickly, "Young master, madam, the old gentleman is resting in the bedroom."

"What’s wrong with Grandpa?" Adrian Lancaster, heart in his throat, turned on his heel toward the bedroom, "Is he unwell?"

Faye Turner hurriedly followed.

Mr. Hayes accompanied him, quietly reminding, "Young master, the old gentleman was very angry today, and after watching your interview, he directly fell ill from rage."

Adrian Lancaster furrowed his brows tightly, turning several corners in the big villa, anxiously walking into the bedroom.

The old gentleman sat by the window, his face stern as he glanced at him, "..." panting heavily, full of displeasure on his face.

"Grandpa." He stood by the bed, deeply apologetic.

Faye Turner also stood by his side, "Grandpa, are you feeling alright?" Her gentle voice was filled with concern.

"Faye, you should leave first." The old man’s gaze softened greatly as he looked at her, "Mr. Hayes, you leave as well."

"Yes, old gentleman." Mr. Hayes bowed respectfully, unease in his eyes as he glanced at Adrian Lancaster, then turned and walked out.

Faye Turner slowly turned her gaze, also uneasily looking at the man beside her.

Grandfather was about to place all the pressure on him again.

But today’s grandfather was truly different from before, he was genuinely angry, his face extrely stern, and his complexion poor.

Even the gaze on his beloved grandson had turned sharp, like a knife.

Faye Turner gently took two steps back and turned to leave.

Adrian Lancaster stood by the bed, not waiting for an explanation, the grandfather pointed at him, and a barrage of scolding began—
