Then Adrian Lancaster called the tech departnt and asked them to inspect Serena Sutton’s office computer.

Half an hour later, the feedback was—

Her finalized design draft was modified for four hours after seeing Faye Turner’s idea.

Copying was one thing, but did she have to bite back?

Adrian Lancaster furrowed his brow slightly, thinking this woman’s sches ran deep. He used to think she was simple-minded.

Now... a cold glint flashed in Adrian Lancaster’s eyes.

This evening, Serena Sutton unexpectedly drove to the Lancaster Family’s old mansion.

In today’s public opinion, she held the absolute advantage. Everyone sympathized with her and dug up her previous award-winning works.

She thought, Grandpa must have seen her talent too!

So, carrying a lot of gifts, she happily walked towards the living room, timing her arrival to join dinner.

Grandpa, sharp-eyed, saw her in the living room and quickly headed toward her with a cane, accompanied by so attendants.

"Grandpa!"

Serena, seeing him from afar, was extrely happy, her face shining with a smile, "I brought you pastries. A new shop opened in the city, the taste is great, I queued for an hour!"

The old man had a stern face, and Serena quickened her steps.

The elder standing stable with his cane, stared deeply at her.

"Grandpa, the wind is picking up outside, hurry inside! No need to co out to et !" she said, ready to pass the old man and step further inside.

The old man reached out, grabbed her arm, and stopped her.

She felt a slight jolt, suddenly turned her eyes, bewildered, and asked, "Grandpa, what’s wrong?"

The old man’s gaze was detached as he slowly released her hand, as if he no longer recognized her.

"Grandpa... you... don’t rember again?" She looked around, wondering if it was too dark for Grandpa to see her clearly.

The old man did not respond.

She continued, "I’m Serena Sutton, I visited you last ti too, Aunt lanie’s friend’s daughter, I used to co here as a kid... why don’t you rember ?"

"Why did you plagiarize Faye’s work? And bite back at her?" The old man asked directly, feeling disappointed with her, "Give an answer today!"

This serious tone startled the girl!

She tried to regain her composure, organizing her words in her mind, "Grandpa, I didn’t copy her, she copied mine! Everyone knows this matter."

"Is that so?" The old man’s eyes narrowed slightly, his voice stern, "Say it again?"

"..." She felt a bit guilty, perhaps the old man’s aura was too strong.

Grandpa suppressed his anger, teaching in the tone of an elder—

"Girl, in any situation, sincerity is always the trump card. People will inevitably make mistakes in life; recognizing and correcting them is the greatest virtue."

"Grandpa, she really copied mine..."

Serena was extrely aggrieved, her brows knitted in distress, speaking sowhat urgently, "Although she’s married to Adrian, she’s a complete novice; she has no works, she doesn’t understand creation at all."

"You’re dishonest." The old man was disheartened, totally disappointed in her, "You should leave, you’re not welco here anymore, don’t co back again."

With that, the elder turned and left.

"Grandpa..." Serena hurried, wanting to catch up but was stopped by two bodyguards.

"Grandpa!!"

Watching Grandpa’s gradually receding figure, she realized she would never step through that living room door again.

But why doesn’t Grandpa believe her?
