She got up and walked past Adrian Lancaster, almost stepping on the shattered phone, but she didn’t have ti to pick it up and walked straight out of the master bedroom.

Looking at the dicine splattered everywhere outside, it was the result of her hours of effort, and as a doctor, Faye Turner was truly heartbroken.

This was nature’s gift, just wasted like that.

She quickly brought a trash can, crouched down and picked up the large pieces of broken bowl to throw them in, then used a tissue to clean the dicine paste on the floor.

She mopped the floor clean, afraid that grandpa would see it and worry again.

Adrian Lancaster stayed in the bedroom, not coming out. He might have cald down a bit, or he might still be very angry.

Because she called grandpa over late at night! Adrian was worried too!

The dumplings made last ti were still in the fridge. After tidying up, Faye Turner opened a crack in the entrance door and then went to the kitchen to cook dumplings.

When Old Master Lancaster entered, he slled the aroma of dumplings, "Are you cooking dumplings? Did you call grandpa over specifically to eat dumplings?"

"Grandpa!"

Wearing an apron, the girl brought out two steaming bowls of dumplings, "Grandpa, please sit down! These soup dumplings are best enjoyed hot!"

"Where’s Adrian?" Grandpa looked cheerful and in a very good mood.

"He’s in the room, you go call him!" With that, Faye Turner turned back into the kitchen.

When grandpa walked with his cane to the master bedroom door, just about to knock, Adrian Lancaster opened the door, "Grandpa." His voice was gentle.

"You really are sothing, having Faye cook dumplings!" Grandpa tapped his leg with the cane, "Never seen you cook them for her!"

"I have cooked before, grandpa." Faye Turner ca out again, placing the bowl in her hand on the dining table, smiled and said, "He often cooks too."

"That’s good!" Grandpa was especially happy to hear that!

"In married life, household chores shouldn’t be divided. The notion that won must be in the kitchen is outdated! Look around, families where chores are evenly shared have the highest happiness index!"

"Yes, yes, grandpa is right."

The three of them sat around the dining table, and Faye Turner handed out chopsticks to everyone.

"Grandpa, what did you visit Dr. Aiken for this morning?" Faye Turner asked softly, starting the conversation directly, "This pregnancy dicine, did you get it from him?"

So it was about this?

Grandpa knew she understood dicine and recognized the dicines sent last night, so he asked, "Did you brew and drink it?"

"Not yet." Faye Turner’s eyes curved, "But rest assured, I will definitely drink it! I won’t waste grandpa’s good intentions."

At this point, Adrian Lancaster had already undergone a change in his heart, the dicine was sent last night...

She t grandpa at the clinic entrance, she didn’t lie.

"Faye, can you heal Adrian’s hand injury?"

Grandpa couldn’t help but worry, "You went to get the dicine from Dr. Aiken, that proves you’re confident, right?"

"Grandpa, this morning I..."

"By the way, I must criticize you." Grandpa suddenly beca stern, "You said he was just allergic, if it weren’t for grandpa being detail-oriented, he would have been kept in the dark for life! Such a big issue!"

Faye Turner felt a bit embarrassed, "I didn’t want you to worry, besides, it’s already almost healed."

"Did you know earlier? Help him hide it?" Grandpa was unhappy but not highly reprimanding, "If I knew, you wouldn’t have hinted a bit? This couple really is of one mind!"

Faye dared not argue, she kept her head down eating dumplings.

Adrian Lancaster finally realized the truth, trusting that Faye Turner wasn’t trying to show off to grandpa.

They just accidentally bumped into each other and casually asked why he got the dicine.

She certainly didn’t intentionally disclose it.

Therefore, Adrian Lancaster felt a bit strange, he had just been very angry a mont ago and even got rough with her.

"Grandpa, this injury can be healed, please trust ." Faye Turner raised her eyes to give assurance to put the old man’s mind at ease.
