"Sir, let help you with your wound," Nathan Xavier attentively approached Dr. Downey.

The elderly man, moved by the mother and daughter’s emotions, was wiping his tears and looked at him, "It’s just a minor injury, nothing to worry about."

"Sir, thank you for your hard work and for playing your role today," Simon Xavier expressed his gratitude. Even in today’s circumstances, there was so elent of danger.

Rhiannon Xavier was a daredevil.

The elderly man shook his head kindly, "Helping Faye Turner defuse a ti bomb ans I can sleep well tonight."

Everyone felt aftershocks, for they didn’t know Rhiannon could be so villainous.

Mrs. Xavier held her daughter tightly; the feeling of losing and regaining her was indescribable.

"I’m sorry, dear, it’s your mother’s fault..." She deeply regretted adopting Rhiannon.

"It’s all in the past, mother, don’t cry... Let’s not bring it up again," Faye gently stroked her back, "She’s reaping what she sowed."

Nathan and his father comforted the agitated mother together, while the elderly man checked her pulse and helped her relax.

"Violet, don’t be sad, calm down first," Simon supported his wife, speaking gently, "Granny Hughes will be here soon, don’t let her worry, quickly wipe away your tears."

Outside, the lanterns were lit as dusk fell, the lanterns in the courtyard were all aglow, looking beautiful.

Mrs. Xavier slowly cald down, seeing her daughter safe and sound, she cupped her face, feeling at one mont as though she could forgive everything.

But thinking about the hardships her daughter might have faced over these twenty years, she felt deep regret...

So, we should not casually interfere with others’ karma, minding our own business is also a form of self-protection, kindness should be asured, sympathizing with soone ans taking on their fate, maybe it’s true.

Soon Granny Hughes and her group arrived, two cars driving in consecutively.

Chase Fletcher and Rachel Sherman arrived, so did little June, Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher, and Kylie Fletcher...

It was heard that Shane was found, and it turned out to be Mrs. Lancaster, Faye Turner! Everyone felt incredulous, but at the sa ti extrely happy.

"This truly is a great occasion!"

"The Lancaster Family and the Xavier Family joining hands, it’s practically the most impressive business alliance ever, envy is inevitable!"

"Faye, that girl, seems blessed and has a positive aura, didn’t expect to be our granddaughter from the Hughes Family." Granny Hughes was overjoyed, her smile never faded on the way over.

First ti seeing her, she thought Faye’s charm resembled her daughter’s, imdiately liking her imnsely.

The elderly lady had specially prepared a big red envelope today, as a greeting gift from her grandma.

Simon Xavier, with his wife, arrived at the parking lot to welco everyone, all emotions adjusted, good mood showing on their faces.

"You’re here, you’re here, please co inside!" People chatted and greeted, cheerfully talking as they moved indoors.

The courtyard was festively decorated with lights and banners.

Tonight, Faye Turner donned a gown previously purchased for her and dressed up a bit, aided by a stylist, looking beautiful.

The kitchen was already cooking fresh ingredients, several main dishes were out, their aroma filling the air.

"Guess what I just saw?"

"What? Co on, out with it, no beating around the bush!"

A person leaned over, whispering mysteriously, "I saw Miss being taken away by the police."

"What? What did the eldest miss do to be taken away by the police? Is the welco banquet going ahead? Are these dishes still being served? What’s happening?"

"Are your ears playing tricks on you?!" The other person smacked his forehead, speaking softly, "I said Miss, aning Rhiannon Xavier, not the eldest miss."
