The Beauty System looked over the mission settlent report from the main system. "Mission Evaluation: S . Host has received a basic reward of 5 Energy Points and a bonus of 7 Energy Points for achieving an A-level or higher rating."

"Client Zhang Wangying has given a B-level evaluation. Main system reward: 0 Energy Points. Host’s current Energy Point balance: 34."

Tan You smiled. She didn’t say anything after hearing the B-level mission evaluation.

The Beauty System: "Host, aren’t you angry? You put so much effort into developing Liuu Yuming and Liuu Min, and in the end, the client just gave you a B-level evaluation..."

Tan You: "I’m really not angry. Why would I get angry over soone who doesn’t even know ? I even know exactly why she gave that rating. It’s because I didn’t create the picture-perfect outco she had in her head."

"In Zhang Wangying’s eyes, a woman’s life should revolve around her husband and children. The man goes out to earn money, the woman stays ho to take care of the family and kids. Only then can it be considered a happy and complete life."

"But Liuu Min didn’t get married; she dedicated herself completely to her career. That’s sothing Zhang Wangying can’t comprehend. She gets anxious, thinking, ’How can a woman not get married?’"

"This is our biggest disagreent. And what’s laughable is that she deludes herself into thinking she can change my views with that shallow mindset of hers."

"But the truth is, while Liuu Min didn’t get married, is she living in poverty? Not at all. Liuu Min is doing great."

"I even suspect another reason she gave this rating is that I didn’t invest in Xu Yuan the sa way I did with Liuu Min, right?"

The Beauty System was genuinely surprised. "Host, you figured all that out?"

"Of course. People are never satisfied. Once they get one thing, they want sothing else. Xu Yuan already had far more than Liuu Min. He had his own mother and father, and his father was a highly successful man—Xu Yuan’s life really didn’t need to add icing on the cake."

"But Liuu Min wasn’t in the sa boat. Everyone has people they feel closer to, and naturally, I favored Liuu Min."

The Beauty System: "Host... you’ve beco so terrifying. You figured all of this out."

Tan You: "It’s just about understanding human nature. I’ve been through so many worlds, after all; I can’t have made zero progress. I’m really not angry. I do care about the Energy Points from the client’s rating, but they aren’t *that* important."

"If getting Zhang Wangying’s Energy Points ant I had to change my own principles and do the mission exactly as she envisioned, then I’m obviously not willing. It’s only a matter of 2 Energy Points, give or take. It’s really not that important."

The Beauty System: "My, you’re acting so high and mighty now that you’re rich. But when I ask you to do a lottery draw, you..."

It wanted to say she was dragging her feet, but when it saw Tan You’s narrowing eyes, the Beauty System wisely shut its mouth.

Tan You rocked her lounge chair. "To be honest, I’m a little surprised. I still find Liuu Yuming much more agreeable than Zhang Wangying. Zhang Wangying saw stay for so long and witnessed all the changes in everyone, yet her own deep-seated beliefs didn’t shift at all?"

The Beauty System fell silent. ’I’m just a little system, how could I possibly understand what a client is thinking?’

Tan You looked rather content, her eyes narrowed. "I suspect she probably saw all the changes, but she didn’t dare to change herself. It’s actually quite sad when you think about it. But oh well, if soone doesn’t want to change, I can’t exactly force them, can I?"

It slowly dawned on the Beauty System. "So, you didn’t interfere with Liuu Yuming getting married and having children because that’s the outco Zhang Wangying wanted to see? But Liuu Min’s life is the one you truly wanted to shape? That way, you accomplished your own goal while also fulfilling Zhang Wangying’s wishes to a certain extent..."

Tan You simply smiled and said nothing. After two seconds of silence, the Beauty System asked, "Weren’t you worried the client would give you a rating below D-level?"

"Then let it be D-level. As long as I get the main system’s mission reward, nothing else matters." Tan You truly didn’t care. Sure, she was there to complete a mission, but that didn’t an she had to blindly follow the client’s every whim.

The Beauty System: "Host... you’re truly unrestrained."

"Perhaps. In the end, what’s most important is your own happiness." Tan You rolled over. She didn’t ntion that she was also testing the system, step by step. ’It seems this little system hasn’t noticed a thing, has it?’

’As expected, it really is a useless little system.’ But that was fine too. Tan You narrowed her eyes slightly, watching the little puppy frolicking in mid-air. ’Having this little thing around really does lift one’s spirits.’

It provided excellent emotional value, which was the thing Tan You was most satisfied with.

After playing for a while with the little birds that couldn’t see it, the Beauty System hopped in front of Tan You. "Host, it’s about ti we put that mission you drew last ti on the agenda. There can’t be any gaps between missions."

Tan You, however, was in no hurry. "No rush. Let’s take a look at my status panel first."

A status panel quickly unfolded before her eyes:

Appearance: 87 (Perfect Bone Structure, Flawless Skin, Limpid Eyes)

Spiritual Power: 64

Intelligence: 61

Physique: 40

Charm: 33

Energy Points: 38

Beauty Value: 34 (Unavailable in current world)

All of the above values are based on a 100-point scale. The system reserves the right of final interpretation.

Tan You looked over the stats. "My spiritual power went up by another 2 points, but my Charm didn’t move at all?"

The Beauty System: "Acquiring Charm points is very difficult, and its evaluation system is extrely complex."

Tan You tapped the armrest of her lounge chair. "I rember Tan Ying was very popular in class. What was her Charm value?"

Seeing the Beauty System about to speak, Tan You understood. "It costs Energy Points? I rember you asked for Energy Points back when I had you check Lin Zhipeng’s Intelligence Value, too."

The Beauty System: "Correct. The fee is 1 Energy Point."

Tan You glanced at her 38 Energy Points and thought the number 38 sounded rather unpleasant. "Fine, you can have it. What is Tan Ying’s Charm value?"

The Beauty System’s electronic voice rang out: "Tan Ying’s Charm value is 28. That’s already a very high score."

Tan You mulled it over. "A Charm of 28... no wonder."

Her own Charm was now higher than Tan Ying’s. With just 28 points, Tan Ying was able to thrive and be extrely popular in her class, so what about her own score? Tan You shuddered at the thought. She had no intention of becoming everyone’s darling.

’All I want is to live my own life in peace.’

"Alright, I’ll go over Xu Yanxi’s mories one more ti, then we’ll set off." Pushing thoughts of Tan Ying aside, Tan You carefully reviewed Xu Yanxi’s mories again. If not for Zhang Wangying’s sudden interjection, she should have completed Xu Yanxi’s commission first.

Even though she had gone over Xu Yanxi’s mories countless tis during the last mission world, Tan You preferred to be thoroughly prepared.

Seeing Tan You carefully reviewing the client’s mories, the little puppy’s almond-shaped eyes narrowed in satisfaction. It was always happy when Tan You went out on a mission. ’When Tan You cos back from this one, I’ll get to do another lottery draw!’
