"Looking back now, the Honorable Force was his doing. He deliberately staged that attack to boost his Reputation, how ruthless. You have to understand, that attack resulted in millions of civilian deaths. It's quite possible that the Governor, who was hiding, got exposed and captured by the Honorable Force because he leaked the location."

"As for whether he sent soone to kill that competitor..."

Bai Fu recalled so comnts she had seen in the news when the assassination happened.

During the ti shortly after the assassination, there were indeed suspicions that it was the work of the current Leader; however, this conjecture was refuted by many because according to previous investigations, the current Leader was clearly leading in the polls against the competitor, so he had no need to order the competitor's assassination. If he could have killed without leaving a trace, it would have been fine; but if he made a mistake, it would have been like handing a wedding dress to soone else.

Now, nine years later, there is still no conclusion on who the murderer is.

From mory module N2, Bai Fu could not figure out the truth, so she decided to assu for the ti being that it was the Leader's doing.

Who would bla him, that shifty bird of a Leader.

If you're going to be that underhanded, not placing the bla on him would be a disservice to his deceitfulness, wouldn't it?

During the nine years of the Leader's rise to power, the Honorable Force set fires everywhere, even killing six Colonial Governors.

Many felt that the Leader was unlucky because while the Honorable Force assassinated the Colonial Governors, they also sabotaged several of his policies he intended to implent with great force.

The failure of these policies, coupled with the growing success of the Honorable Force, led his support rate to plumt several tis, though it later recovered. Nevertheless, the impact was severely detrintal.

[The most incompetent Leader in the history of the Tem Civilization]

[Incompetent? Perhaps it is more appropriate to describe him as unlucky]

[Incompetent or unlucky, he is not fit to stay in the position of Leader any longer]

This poor reputation made it difficult for the current Leader to even be nominated in the next election.

Because of this, when speculating about who was behind the Honorable Force, no one thought of him; after all, a series of actions that not only failed to benefit himself but also caused his support rate to nearly explode seed sowhat comical.

But could it be that simple?

Now that she knew the Honorable Force was truly a subordinate to the Leader, and considering that the bastard Leader was quite decisive in killing, Bai Fu surmised that he was most likely playing a much larger ga.

"There are three possibilities now. First, those six individuals were in his way, and he had to kill them despite the risk of an exploding support rate; second, it was intentional. He wanted to use this thod to conceal himself, to stop people from recognizing his connection with the Honorable Force, while also making other forces underestimate him; third, he wants to achieve both of the above goals."

Bai Fu massaged her temples.

She felt that the Leader was likely to be a persistent major character in the main storyline of the Tem Civilization, even possibly the ultimate boss.

But whether this was the case required closer observation to determine if there was a "Luck" or "Strong Luck" buff on him.

If there was...

Bai Fu's eyes shifted slightly; she thought she could faintly see through the Leader's plan.

"If everything goes normally, he is supposed to step down next year, but if the Tem Civilization suddenly breaks out in war before that, he could use it as an excuse to cling to the position of Leader. Of course, at that ti, hardly anyone would care about him since most people consider him weak. However, as the war intensifies and the situation gets tougher, if he suddenly pulls off a few big actions, his Reputation... By then, his support rate is bound to skyrocket, and he could ride that montum, blaming Gustav and others for the war as war criminals, and outright eliminate them all."

Speaking of big actions, offering up the Honorable Force as a sacrifice would be enough to boost morale during the war.

"Playing such a big ga, there has to be soone backing him. But which of the three great cosmic civilizations is supporting the Leader?"

As far as Bai Fu knew, Supernova Battle Group should be on Gustav and others' side, Titan Industry could be Nellis' backing, so could it be the Rebirth Empire?

Bai Fu closed her eyes and pondered for a mont.

Then, she smiled.

If her guess was right, this ti she might really make it big.

Since she had seen through the Leader's future, she just needed to ti it right to easily steal the Leader's life!

Saint Thief Fufu strikes!

For example, if the Leader was planning to establish his image as the "hero who ended the war" by eliminating the Honorable Force, she could easily beat him to it and take them down herself, becoming the hero in his stead.

Admittedly, this would infuriate the Leader, but from the mont she decided to get involved in the Tem Civilization's main storyline, conflict between them was inevitable.

As long as the benefits were substantial enough for her rapid growth, she need not worry about the Leader's anger.

Perhaps the Leader would go to the Rebirth Empire to complain and use their power to suppress her, but she wasn't without her own backers either; Titan Industry was a very respectable collaborator.

Alternatively, she might be harsher, kick the Leader aside, and replace him to collaborate with the Rebirth Empire.

In any case, these were all manoeuvrable strategies, but they all ca with certain risks.
