Passing through one heavy door after another, the Truth Society Chairman reached the depths of the main base's B3 floor in Area C.
"How is she doing?"
He turned around, asking Dr. Ed who had been waiting for a long ti.
Dr. Ed walked to the control panel and typed a few strokes on the keyboard, pulling up a vast amount of data: "Compared to four months ago, her physical data has increased by a minimum of 11%, with the maximum increase being 37%. The only problem is that due to the continuous extraction of her Spiritual Energy, her ntal stability is gradually becoming sowhat unreliable."
The Truth Society Chairman nodded his head, his gaze showing a mix of solemnity and surprise.
Julia was practically a monster.
Even confined within a Spiritual Ability Restriction Device, even with her body's Spiritual Energy constantly restricted to less than 1%, she was still growing at a speed incomprehensible to the average person.
The Truth Society Chairman dared not imagine what heights Julia would have reached in these years if she had not been restricted.
Perhaps, she would have beco the world's Dominator!
Or perhaps, she would have flown off this planet, in pursuit of the limits of Spiritual Energy!
Fortunately, Carl betrayed the Watcher Camp before Julia had the chance to grow up, interrupting Julia's growth process and altering the whole world's developntal course.
"Let inherit the path you've paved and beco the Dominator of the world. After all, you aren't interested in power; you just want to be a doctor."
The Truth Society Chairman retracted the longing in his eyes and turned to ask Dr. Ed again.
"How is the research coming along?"
Dr. Ed said, "The Temporary Enhancent Potion made from Spiritual Energy extracted from Julia has successfully passed clinical trials, but the developnt of the Potential Activation Potion is not going smoothly. Since we cannot understand why Julia possesses such an exaggerated Spiritual Energy Talent, we can only use the most foolish thod to slowly experint. Unfortunately, to date, no one has survived after taking the potion."
The Truth Society Chairman's eyebrows were tightly furrowed.
Seeing this, Dr. Ed hastened to explain: "Chairman, rest assured, while research is not as advanced as expected, I have now found a direction. The existence of the Undying People has made trial and error much simpler. I believe we will see results soon."
"That's good," the Truth Society Chairman did not inquire further.
Dr. Ed secretly heaved a sigh of relief.
He had not lied, but there was one thing he did not ntion: given Julia's current state, she might go mad before the experints succeeded. How her madness would impact the experints, he had no certainty, and could only take it one step at a ti.
After seeing off the Truth Society Chairman, Dr. Ed had his assistant bring over all the newly recruited experints.
Ti was of the essence; he had to start a new round of experints urgently.
Ten or so minutes later, Master Tai'er, his eyes covered with several layers of black cloth, was pushed into the lab.
"As long as you cooperate with obediently throughout the experint, there will be no shortage of benefits for you."
While listening to Dr. Ed's instructions, Master Tai'er looked around.
The players around him seed to be in good spirits. Lying down while gaining Experience and a chance to receive Rare Items after completing the Task, with the possibility of transforming into a special Race, such Tasks were too good to be unhappy about.
Master Tai'er was also excited, but his excitent differed from that of the other players; after all, he was a spy!
Since Graham was killed by Bai Fu, he had decisively defected to her and beca a spy for the Silent Court. These past few months, he had collected a fair amount of intelligence within the Truth Society, but that intelligence was mostly useless.
Now that a special opportunity had arisen, he decided it was ti to make his move.
Silent, but when he acted, it would be earth-shattering.
This ti, he would let Bai Fu know how wise a decision it was to have accepted him!
Before accepting the task, Master Tai'er had already made inquiries. Dr. Ed held a high position in the Truth Society, one not even the Combat Departnt Director Bernardo dare provoke lightly. He was unclear about the specific location he was in now, but since Dr. Ed was here, it ant that this place was very important to the Truth Society.

While the major powers were tense over the retaliatory attack on Black Mountain City, the Old Republic's capital, by the "Truth Society," the true mastermind behind the scenes, Bai Fu, had already returned to Shelter No. 11.
Considering that a version update was due in just a couple of days, she wasn't going to stir up trouble again but instead planned to maximize her Experience gains and organize players for a new round of construction in the Goli Desert.
The Goli Desert Region's main tasks in branch 3 [Order Defender] and branch 4 [Ideal Country] both tied into the construction of the Goli Desert. The better the Goli Desert was constructed, the more rewards there would be when the tasks were settled.
Bai Fu, who desperately needed a massive amount of Experience to enhance her power, naturally did not ignore these tasks.
For others, maintaining the order and increasing the prosperity of the Goli was no easy feat. Materials and such were manageable; as long as one had money, they were accessible. The key issue was that it was difficult to find a large number of construction workers in a short ti. With pollution sources everywhere in the world, whose construction workers would risk going abroad to build houses?
But for Bai Fu, this was too simple.
She hadn't worked so hard to recruit so many players just to let them sponge off her!
