??Bai Xuan hung up, glancing over at Serene and Mare Alera. A faint smile tugged at his lips.

??A man wearing a “Cube-3” mask was tightly bound to a chair in the interrogation room.
??Liu Mufei and Li Hongyou stood in the observation room, watching the interrogator at work.

??Liu Mufei shook her head. “He’s stubborn—refuses to reveal who’s pulling the strings or what their true objective is.”
