79 The Tug-and-Pull War Between The Recruitnt Teachers

Luo Feng had just sent Lei Jin and his mother away when Ai Tingya appeared at the door after dinner.

Luo Feng quickly pulled her into the house. “You would have made it in ti for dinner if you arrived 10 minutes earlier. Why did you bring the suitcase?”

Ai Tingya was holding a brand new suitcase in her hand. The film on the outside had yet to be torn open, and she was holding a paper bag in her other hand. She handed the suitcase and the paper bag to Luo Feng.

“It’s a gift from the Dean. I wanted to see you, so I brought it for you,” Ai Tingya said with a smile.

Luo Feng opened it and found that the paper bag contained a sheet set, a thermos, and a new set of headphones. They were all things used in university and were very practical.

“Thank the Dean for . I like them very much.”

Luo Feng held Ai Tingya’s hand and entered the house. Seeing this, Mother Luo quickly asked if Ai Tingya had eaten yet.

Ai Tingya ca over after eating so she thanked Mother Luo repeatedly.

After cleaning up the kitchen, Mother Luo called her husband back to their room, leaving the two of them alone.

At this mont, Luo Feng’s door rang again.

He thought it was so classmate’s parents. Luo Feng opened the door and realized that it was soone he didn’t know.

The young man wore gold-rimd glasses and a well-ironed suit. He stood upright and exuded a refined aura.

Luo Feng asked, “Who are you looking for?”

The young man took out his business card and said, “My na is Mike Li. I’m Stanford’s student recruitnt teacher in our province. You must be Luo Feng, right?”

The college entrance examination was a battlefield for students, and it was the sa for recruitnt teachers.

A province only had one top scholar in the humanities and one top scholar in the sciences. In comparison, there were many famous universities. The recruitnt teachers of key universities had to seize every second to pull good students to their schools.

“Please co in” Luo Feng quickly invited him in when he heard that he was from Stanford.

This was one of the schools that Ai Tingya and he wanted to enter.

The two of them entered the house and sat down. Ai Tingya hurriedly served tea when she heard that he was a recruitnt teacher. Mike Li only thanked her politely.

Luo Feng had received a whole day of send-offs. Everyone who ca to congratulate him had a 120% warm smile on their faces. Luo Feng was not used to suddenly having a polite and distant teacher.

It made sense thinking about it. It was Stanford University after all. There were at least a dozen teachers who visited the top scorer of the college entrance examination every year.

Mike Li went straight to the point: “As for the school, I won’t introduce it further. I’m sure you’ve heard of it, Luo Feng. The school has a preferential policy for the top scholars of each province. Moreover, with your results, it’s not a problem for you to choose the major you like.”

Luo Feng glanced at Ai Tingya and said, “Then can the second in the province enjoy the sa treatnt as ?”

Mike Li frowned when he heard sothing that ca out of nowhere. “What does second place in the province have to do with you?”

“She’s my girlfriend.”

Mike Li stroked his chin and thought about it. He rembered that the second na in the province was Ai Tingya, and she was also a recruitnt target for the school. He had yet to visit her. It turned out that he would recruit another student this year.

He really didn’t care. In any case, Ai Tingya was also very outstanding. It wouldn’t be a problem for her to apply to their school. It’s just that her treatnt definitely won’t be comparable to Luo Feng’s.

“I can’t guarantee that. You know that so privileges are only open to the top scholar. Why don’t I waive the tuition fees or sothing?” Mike Li said sincerely.

With their school’s reputation, there was no need to break the precedent for a second place. Or rather, he was too lazy to apply.

Before coming to Luo Feng’s house, he had already gone to the neighboring province to look for the top scorer of the college entrance examination there. When the other party heard that there were all kinds of preferential treatnt, he couldn’t stop smiling and signed the registration form on the spot.

Luo Feng pondered for a mont and looked at Ai Tingya beside him. “He said that.”

Mike Li looked at Luo Feng in confusion. He was discussing it with the girl next to him. Wait…

“Are you Ai Tingya?” Mike Li asked.

“Yes, hello, Teacher,” Ai Tingya greeted politely.

The two of them looked at each other. Mike Li looked away awkwardly. He had not said anything bad. Why did he feel like he did sothing bad? So things were hard to say with the second place staring at him.

Ai Tingya knew that it was not good for her to be here, so she prepared to return to the orphanage first.

At this mont, a knock on the door interrupted their conversation.

Ai Tingya walked over to open the door and saw Xiao Fei standing outside. Behind her was a kind-looking old man. His white beard was very neat, and his eyes narrowed into gentle crescents when he smiled.

“You’re indeed here.” Xiao Fei pulled Ai Tingya over and introduced her to the old man with a smile. “Professor Jing, she’s Ai Tingya.”

Professor Jing chuckled and held Ai Tingya’s hand. “Hello, Ai Tingya. I’m an admissions teacher from Oxford University in this province. I couldn’t find you at the orphanage, so the young lady brought here.”

Xiao Fei raised her head proudly. She knew Ai Tingya the best. She knew where she was in a jiff.

“Uh…” Ai Tingya hesitated.

Wasn’t this even more awkward…

It was not appropriate for the admissions teacher to make another trip. Ai Tingya simply invited him into the house.

Professor Jing entered the room and saw Mike Li. The two of them were stunned at the sa ti, and the situation beca even more awkward.

They were all teachers from top universities and had more or less t each other. It was rare for two admission teachers to snatch soone. Everyone would intentionally or unintentionally avoid such an ugly situation.

Therefore, Professor Jing ignored Luo Feng, who was the first and went to Ai Tingya’s, who was placed second, place of residence.

Who would have thought that the first and second place would be together this year?

The four of them sat on one side and looked at each other.

“Ahem, since both of you are here, let tell you about the treatnt of our school…” Professor Jing was indeed an old professor who had seen many storms. He directly told them about the preferential treatnt the school gave to the top students.

And it blurred the difference between the first and second place, making Luo Feng and Ai Tingya, who were tied together, feel very good.

Mike Li knew what was going on. He was going to snatch them away in front of him!

It was one thing not to be able to recruit students, but it was another thing to be inferior.

He quickly changed his words. “It’s not impossible to discuss this matter with Ai Tingya. Our school cherishes talents very much.”

...

Professor Jing was not to be outdone. He imdiately made the decision and said clearly, “Luo Feng, as long as you’re willing to co to our school, I guarantee that Ai Tingya will enjoy the sa preferential treatnt as you!”

He was an old professor of the school after all. He had a greater say compared to Mike Li.

Seeing that he could not win against Professor Jing in this aspect, Mike Li changed the topic and said, “Professor Jing, let them think about it themselves. After all, they will only enjoy the benefits for four years. Choosing the right major is a matter of a lifeti.”

Stanford and Oxford had their own ace majors, and Mike Li wanted to start with them.

Professor Jing was also very willing to hear their thoughts.

Luo Feng suddenly raised his head and said, “Teachers, how are the accommodations?”
