213: God-Devouring Chess Ascends

The ancient fortress grew colder as night deepened.

The climate in the Prison Abyss's far east was brutally harsh. The waves below the cliff faces often reached a hundred ters high.

But Yuyin felt perfectly content. After half a year of struggling through the Prison Abyss, facing countless dangers and hardships, she was finally reunited with her sisters again.

What did she have to fear, even with mountains roaring and seas raging outside?

"This stone bed is so comfortable, much better than sleeping in caves. We're all benefiting from Yuyin's good fortune." Hua Yuanjing pressed her cheek against Yuyin's long, silky hair.

"Really?" Lianyue inhaled deeply, breathing in Yuyin's intoxicating scent of vibrant feminine vitality. "Is it the stone bed that's comfortable, or who makes you comfortable?"

"Hehehe, what do you think?" Jing smiled with a hint of allure.

"Huh? Senior Lian, what are you talking about... The bed is small, we're just huddling together to withstand the wind and rain, right?" Yuyin's voice was warm yet righteous.

"Then why don't we change positions?" Lianyue suggested.

"Hmm? Change positions? Want to be sandwiched between and Yuyin?" Hua Yuanjing asked with a mix of ease and assertiveness. For a mont, the dynamic between her and Lianyue made Yuyin sense sothing subtle.

"Please, why would I? We'll naturally stay on the sides. But tonight, I want to be the one holding Yuyin from behind. Yuyin, is that okay? Don't tell only Jing is allowed." Lianyue said.

"Huh? Senior Lian, I don't quite understand. Do you want to turn around? Such a small matter, just say so. Why make it so complicated?" Yuyin spoke calmly, though inwardly she was extrely sensitive. How could she not feel it? But so things were better handled matter-of-factly, the more you dwelled on them, the more awkward they beca.

Outwardly proper yet inwardly delicate, Yuyin always preferred facing issues this way.

So she quite naturally turned over, facing Hua Yuanjing. Due to their height difference, their faces accidentally pressed very close. Yuyin found herself staring right at Jing's cherry lips, her cheeks flushing slightly as she averted her gaze awkwardly.

anwhile, Lianyue imdiately embraced Yuyin from behind. Her slender, delicate body pressed against Yuyin's curves.

Yet she spoke as if nothing had happened, forcing Yuyin to focus on the sensation while pretending not to notice. "Jing, tomorrow let's explore the forest around this ancient fortress, shall we? That woman said we can move freely. Let's go hunting, gain so experience."

"Hmm, good idea. I've been wanting to stretch my legs. Since they've given us Hunter status, why not use it? We can hunt so alien beasts, exchange them for treasures and secret techniques here, and bring them back later." Hua Yuanjing said.

"Mm, and once we've saved enough, we'll have that woman open a teleportation array for all three of us. I don't want to owe her any favors." Lianyue said sweetly.

"Right, Yuyin, are you coming with us tomorrow?" Jing asked.

"? Well, tomorrow..." Yuyin hesitated.

"Not convenient? Hehe, I understand. It's fine. We girls have those days each month. Tomorrow your Senior Lian and I will go hunting. You stay ho and rest." Jing comforted her like a caring older sister, gently stroking the curve of Yuyin's waist.

Yuyin didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Had Sister Jing misunderstood? At Yuyin's level, capable of slaying Perfection-Stage of Void Truth Realm experts, would she be incapacitated by her period? How had she survived these past six months in the Prison Abyss? Alien beasts didn't show rcy just because it was your ti of the month.

But Yuyin's reluctance to go truly was due to inconvenience, just not of that ordinary physiological sort. The God-Devouring Chess upgrade had entered its critical phase, making her body extrely sensitive and prone to sudden reactions that could easily be misinterpreted. Better to stay ho these few days.

"Yuyin, should I have the attendant bring you so supplies?" Lianyue whispered in Yuyin's ear with concern.

"No need, but thank you for caring, Sister."

Whether it was a misunderstanding or not, this feeling of being cared for so attentively was truly comforting.

The next day, the downpour continued, waves rolling across the sea.

Hua Yuanjing and Lianyue changed into new dresses that Yuyin had asked Zi Qiang to prepare for them, heading out early to hunt in the forest. However, Zi Qiang insisted these clothes counted as low-grade artifacts and couldn't be given freely, they would need to repay her with prey, ore, or dicinal herbs later.

Yuyin stayed alone in the stone house. Fortunately, the Primordial Energy here was extrely abundant, carrying the majestic, surging intent of the ocean that deep mountains lacked. Yuyin loved the feeling of massive waves crashing one after another. She sat cross-legged on the stone bed, using Feather Absorption to draw in the mountain-sea Primordial Energy while sensing the upgrade of her God-Devouring Chess world.

Within this God-Devouring Chess world was where the true waves of ti washed away countless worlds.

Stars shifted, heaven and earth transford...

Five days later, the God-Devouring Chess world's upgrade was complete!

"Finally done."

Yuyin's consciousness soared through her God-Devouring Chess world. The spiritual energy and artistic conception between heaven and earth seed even more profound and mystical.

Behind the Initial Territory of the first-layer chessboard world appeared a deep chasm filled with faint rainbow-colored mist. Above the chasm floated the Chess World Core, a massive, brilliant, crystalline light-purple crystal possessing unfathomable, mysterious power.

Following the cliff wall along the Initial Territory's side stood a towering precipice, upon which rested an ancient gate. Within the gate, nebulae flowed and starlight flickered.

"This is the Chess World Gate." The female will spoke. "It is also the true aning and joy of the God-Devouring Chess world."

"The true aning and joy?" Yuyin was puzzled. "Where does this gate lead?"

"The Chess World Gate can connect with other chess worlds. Look at the brightest stars upon this gate." The female will said.

"There are six particularly bright stars." Yuyin observed the nebula-flickering Chess World Gate.

"That ans you can send your six strongest chess pieces, with unlimited star ratings, into the Chess World Gate. Within the gate lies a special space called the Chess World Battlefield. In the Chess World Battlefield, your six pieces will encounter another team of pieces from who knows where. As the na suggests, both sides' pieces will battle to the death in the Chess World Battlefield." The female will explained.

"Encounter another team of pieces and battle to the death?" Yuyin exclaid on the stone bed, her chest heaving deeply.

"Indeed. Victory in the Chess World Battlefield grants an enormous amount of Primordial Energy. But defeat, while not costing Primordial Energy, will inflict intense, indescribable punishnt waves upon your body according to the degree and circumstances of the loss. Moreover, you will be unable to enter the Chess World Battlefield again for a certain period."
