Just like with the Pearl Fairy, many powerhouses who hate Lady Death started jumping at the ss.

"100 Million Nu."

"160 Million Nu."

"500 Million Nu! Now give it to !" Lady Death was basically losing her mind at this point.

The clown wasn’t too pleased with her buying. He looked around. "Is there any more bidding?"

"600 Million Nu." Another voice ca from box 100.

Lady Death slamd her chair. "Oen!"

Powerhouse Oen from box 100 wasn’t afraid of her. "Your sister was precious? How about my brother? I’ll buy your sister’s blood and feed it to the dogs."

Lady Death was pissed. "Your brother was the one who ssed with , not the other way around!" She raised her price to 200 Million.

Oen’s brother beca one of Lady Death’s lovers before. It was unknown what happened, but he was killed. There are speculations that he cheated or betrayed Lady Death. There were also rumors that the brother was a spy from Oen.

"250 Million!"

"300 Million!"

"Ahem..." The box 102 sounded. Brother Oen and Lady Death paused. They looked at the box, and sure enough, it was the one who traded the Pearl Fairy with the artifact.

The clown was pleased, hearing that. "Mr, is there anything that you want?"

A voice from box 102 sounded. "Ask the owner if he is willing to trade that blood for an artifact." At this point, Cail knew the price that he would pay, and he was willing.

Looking at the blood, he felt that his regeneration ability would have a major upgrade if he drank that. Not just any advancent — a major one. He needed to get his hands on that blood.

"Of course, of course!" The clown clapped happily and he turned to the owner behind him. "Sir, the owner from box 102 made an offer. Just na your criterion. You should have seen the trade before."

"I’m willing—" Before the owner could even finish what he was about to say, a loud scream interrupted him.

"NO!" Lady Death was on the verge of attacking. "DON’T YOU DARE AGREE! OR I’LL KILL YOU!"

BANG!

A hamr smashed down on Lady Death’s box. The clown was mad this ti.

"BITCH. Is that what begging sounds like? Sir is willing to give you information — that’s the goodness of his heart. You’re an ungrateful dog." The clown didn’t hold back in criticizing her.

Although Lady Death is emotional, that doesn’t an that she is dumb. She did not back away. "Goodness? If the one who sold that blood here at the auction is good, he could have co directly to ! I could reward him handsoly for his information!"

Then she sneered, "Also, can I really get the information that I want that easily? I’m sure you people will extort before letting hear any useful tidbits."

The clown, being exposed, didn’t feel guilty. "Oh, you guess it. Want a price?" He gave Lady Death a flying kiss.

Lady Death ignored him. She focused her attention on box 102. "Stop the bid and I’ll spare you." Deep down, she knew that she needed the seller, so she turned her attention to the buyer.

Box 102 was silent, but the clown couldn’t sit still. Lady Death disregarded the rules. She no longer cared about the consequences and was only focused on retrieving her sister.

It’s not yet ti to kill her, the clown thought. So he also started persuading box 102. "Sir, this blood is absolutely a treasure. If not, then no organization would dare clash with a country just to make her sister into a dicine." It sounded very dehumanizing.

With two people squeezing him at the center, everyone was waiting for box 102’s decision.

"Aw... you’re all soooo eager... I almost want to pour the vial out just to see your pretty little faces break." Cail wanted to rile her up.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Lady Death had never felt this disrespected today.

"Of course I’ll trade." The voice from box 102 said.

The clown clapped! "I love you! Now let’s ask what the owner wants. The owner, however, had a specific requirent. He doesn’t want to speak for himself and would rather talk to , then I’ll tell you what he wants. Is that okay?"

Box 102 didn’t care. "Whatever, as long as the deal is concluded."

The clown went silent for a few seconds. His eyes were slacked. Everyone knew that he was talking to the owner.

"The owner says... he’s willing to trade — for sothing equivalently dramatic. He wants... the Chain of Souls."

This ti, it wasn’t a criterion, but a specific request.

A collective gasp rippled through the crowd. Many turned toward Cail’s box in disbelief. Surely this guy wouldn’t have that, right? Even if he did, the value seed to have surpassed the blood.

They all knew the Chain of Souls. It is an ancient chain forged by an unknown race. It can imprison a soul, trapping it from entering the afterlife — perfect for soone who wants power over their enemies or eternal revenge.

The clown also knew that the value was higher than the blood. He warned the owner, "Even if Sir from box 102 has that, it isn’t a fair price for the blood. You know we are keeping it fair here. You need to pay more to get that." He sounded displeased.

He wasn’t blaming box 102, but the owner. He could have asked for sothing, now the clown’s share of artifact is in danger due to the specific requirent.

Cail was quite silent... Because, unexpectedly, it’s inside his artifact box.

It’s just, like what the clown said, it surpassed the value of the blood. The trading system of his is asking for more.

But after hearing what the clown said, Cail’s concerns lessened a bit. If the owner was willing to pay, then he’d rip him dry.

He took out the artifact — a small obsidian disk glowed faintly, its rune-like patterns shifting. Just like before, as the dealer, Cail couldn’t use it.

Tapping his mic, Cail said the long-awaited answer.

"I have it."
