"Yeah, exactly," Catherine said worriedly. "Yet another competitor cos. I told Lizzie to watch out for her but she insists that it’s not an issue..."
Right at that mont, the feline robot in front of Caesar and Catherine moved. Doll trembled as he stared at the Cat Wonderland from afar.
In her mind, the thought of himself waiting at the bottom floor while Headless Horseman cuddled Kun Wu made Doll feel really sad.
Right at this mont, the internal telephone in the robot interior rang. It was Kun Wu.
"Kun Wu? When are you coming down?"
"I won’t be coming back tonight. Don’t wait for . Go ho first."
Du du du du...
Hearing the call end, Doll broke down and sprawled to his knees as he cried out, "No!!!"
"Kun! Wu!"
Headless started singing a lancholic tune, "Snow petals drifting, the North wind whistles, the world ever a boundless1..."
Doll was so enraged his voltage scaled to alarming levels. "Headless! Shut up!"

In the office, Zhao Yao frowned and said, "Matcha, close the windows. That ghastly screaming is so noisy."
Matcha imdiately ran forward and closed the windows for Zhao Yao. Next, he stood at the side and stared at Kun Wu before turning his gaze to Zhao Yao. Looking back and forth between the two, his eyes narrowed instinctively. "There’s definitely a thing going on between them. I must stay here and keep a close watch on the two of them."
Zhao Yao frowned as he glanced at Matcha, "Get out, I want to talk to Kun Wu. You keep watch outside. Don’t just let anyone co in."
Hearing his words, Matcha could not help but walk out of the room. However, he dragged his feet as slowly as he could and only hurried off after Zhao Yao glared at him.
Once the door closed, Matcha imdiately pricked up his ears and pressed against the door to try and hear what was being said in the room. However, he could not hear anything at all.
"What’s going on? Since when was this room so soundproof?"
Matcha was so anxious he started scratching his ears and cheeks in panic. He wanted to find an excuse to go in again and eavesdrop on what they were talking about, but he was scared that Zhao Yao would scold him for that.
At this mont, he felt sothing bumping against him. Matcha turned and saw Milk Tea staring at him with big round eyes as he asked, "Brother Matcha! What are you doing?"
Matcha’s eyes lit up in that instant as he said to Milk Tea, "Milk Tea! Did you co to find Zhao Yao?"
Milk Tea nodded. "I’m looking for Master Zhao to calculate my pay for yesterday’s work."
A hint of glee flashed across Matcha’s face. "Good, just walk into the room later. Once you’re in, stay there for awhile and listen to what Zhao Yao and the cat inside are talking about. Do you understand?"
As he said that, the big orange cat licked the small orange cat’s head. The small orange cat nodded and said seriously, "I understand, Brother Matcha!"

Zhao Yao stared at Kun Wu and asked curiously, "You want to work at the Cat Wonderland?"
Kun Wu nodded.
Zhao Yao leaned against the executive chair and raised his legs on the table. He looked at Kun Wu condescendingly and asked, "Which school did you graduate from?"
"Er... I..."
"You’ve never been to school?" Zhao Yao shook his head and sighed. "Then what did you work as previously?"
"Ah... I... I... I..." Kun Wu stuttered, "I helped soone look after a supermarket before."
"So a temporary job." Zhao Yao frowned and continued, "Why did you think of coming to our company to work?"
"Ah..." Kun Wu started breaking out in cold sweat as she thought to herself, "What should I say? I can’t think of an answer at all. I didn’t know finding a job would be so difficult?"
At that mont, knocks on the door were heard as a small orange cat trotted in and leaped into Zhao Yao’s arms.
Zhao Yao patted Milk Tea’s head and said, "Milk Tea, wait for a while, I am conducting an interview now."
Milk Tea nodded obediently. "I will wait here."
Hence, Zhao Yao stroked Milk Tea as he looked at Kun Wu again and asked, "Have you thought of an answer?"
Kun Wu replied nervously, "I... I think I will have a bright future if I work here. I want to co here and earn more money."
Zhao Yao nodded but shook his head the next mont. "You have no education or work experience. It’s a little difficult on our side to hire you."
"I can do anything!" Kun Wu added, "Washing bowls, sweeping the floor, and cleaning toilets... I will do anything that you ask to do."
"We don’t lack workers for these tasks," Zhao Yao stroked Milk Tea, who was glaring and snapping at Kun Wu.
Kun Wu replied pitifully, "That’s not what you said the last ti..."
Zhao Yao pursed his lips. "You an that ti when I touched you? I, the Great Yao, have touched many cats outside. If all of them co here to find a job, won’t this beco more like a charity than a Cat Wonderland? Also, if you want to work here, the basic requirent is to consent to being touched."
Kun Wu was evidently uncomfortable with being touched. "Is it a must to be touched? I just want to rely on my own skills to earn money."
Zhao Yao scoffed at her and said, "Just leave if you can’t. I don’t need you here."
Kun Wu was stunned. A flash of hesitation flashed across her face. However, at the thought of Project X, she replied in the end, "Then... alright then."
Zhao Yao smiled in satisfaction and slapped his thigh. "Sit here."
A wave of humiliation flashed across Kun Wu’s face. Even then, she still jumped onto Zhao Yao’s lap and curled into a ball.
Zhao Yao stroked the cat on his leg and said happily, "You maintained your cat fur pretty well."
Kun Wu gritted her teeth in silence.
Zhao Yao said, "You can’t behave like this. The first thing you need to learn about working here is to smile. Co on. Show a smile."
Kun Wu forced out a smile on her face.
"Not bad." Zhao Yao stroked the horn on Kun Wu’s head and said, "I will call Elizabeth over in a mont. She will train you properly. You will learn a lot from her. Don’t worry about the money. Our employee benefits are very good here at Cat Wonderland. As long as you work hard for the next two years, you will earn enough to return to your hotown to buy a house. Until then, find an honest and reliable partner cat to spend the rest of your life with."
Zhao Yao gloated secretly when he saw Kun Wu agreeing absentmindedly. He asked Sheriff beneath his feet telepathically, "How is it? What else is she still thinking of?"
Sheriff replied, "It’s still about Project X. It seems like she can feel Project X’s presence and desperately wants to see Project X."
Zhao Yao nodded and stared at Kun Wu curiously. He thought to himself, "Is that so? In that case, I’ll let her stay at Cat Wonderland first. Anyway I know her motive, she will definitely cooperate with and abide by my rules."
Of course, Kun Wu did not know that her actions were under Zhao Yao’s scrutiny. That was how she let herself be touched all over and ca fully under his control at this mont.
Zhao Yao let Kun Wu wait there for a while as he turned to Milk Tea and asked, "Milk Tea, what are you here for?"
Milk Tea replied, "Master Zhao! Master Zhao! Yellow Mud and I cleaned up a huge area yesterday..."
...
Matcha, who had been waiting outside, finally saw Milk Tea co out. He imdiately asked, "Milk Tea, what did they talk about?"
Milk Tea stared at Matcha. His heart skipped a beat as he thought to himself, "D*mn, I was chatting so happily with Master Zhao at the end that I forgot what they said before that. What were they talking about?"
Seeing the dazed look on Milk Tea’s face, Matcha asked again, "What is it, Milk Tea?"
Milk Tea frowned deeply as he tried to recall the conversation in the office. At last, he forced out a reply. "Too much was said. I only rember sothing like, ’I can do anything’... a lot of touching...’sit up here yourself’... calling Elizabeth over in a mont..."
When he spoke till the end, Milk Tea was frowning so hard his small eyebrows scrunched up into a ball of fur. "I can’t rember anymore."
At the side, Matcha’s mouth was already hanging wide open, aghast at what he had just heard.
The next mont he suddenly reacted over and imdiately covered Milk Tea’s mouth, saying, "You didn’t tell anything and you didn’t hear anything. Do you understand?"
"This is big news! Breaking news!" Matcha raved in his mind as he ran out. "Has Zhao Yao finally unleashed his bestial instincts? What should I do? Aren’t I in the biggest danger now? No, I must let Elizabeth and the rest know about this and co up with a plan together."
...
At the sa ti, in the pet hospital in the military base.
A dical intern slowly walked past a ward and glanced at Mango, who was unconscious. The corners of Mango’s lips revealed a smile.
"Is this the Headless Horseman’s cat?"
He walked towards the ward, but was stopped imdiately. He took out his work identification card and said, "I’m here to change his dressing."
He entered the ward the next mont and stroked the unconscious Mango. He spoke to his hidden ear microphones, "I found him. You guys think of a way to deal with the security."
In a room one kiloter away, a foreigner with brown hair and blue eyes replied, "Got it."
In the security office, the surveillance screens flashed before being replaced by videos.
"Done. You only have 20 seconds at most. Use it well."
The dical intern in the ward nodded. He opened his mouth and spat out a British Shorthair that was the sa size as Mango.
