In the world of Ti Freeze, Zhao Yao’s blows rained rcilessly on Project X. The power of six cats coupled with the Power Up Card-enhanced Deflective Field was enough to blast a building with one punch, while the power of one kick was enough to flatten a fortress.
Shadows of his kicks and punches enveloped Project X as his face contorted and deford. The mad bursts of energy in each blow turned Project X’s face backwards as his four limbs and torso started to deform and each of his bones and muscles started to rupture.
"You guessed it."
A hint of confidence flashed across Zhao Yao’s eyes as he watched Project X deform and break apart under his punches.
"Project X’s duplicating ability is split into active and passive duplication. He can even replicate a supercat’s Ti Freeze ability just from the apostle that borrowed the supercat’s powers."
"Just like what he did previously, replicating Matcha’s ability from my body."
"However, there was sothing he could not do."
"Based on his performance, attitude and battle tactics, it seems that after replicating the ability from , he had never seen the panel, never seen missions, never seen the diamond hall, nor the rewards equipnt."
"This ans that Project X could only replicate the abilities of supercats. He can’t replicate my abilities, neither can he replicate my Book."
"So he has no missions, no experience points or rewards, no ability to upgrade supercats, no equipnt and no additional powers like the Cat Princess Dress or Power Up Card that he could use."
At that mont, Zhao Yao had figured out the limits to Project X’s replicating abilities.
He could replicate a supercat’s abilities to its maximum potential, even with Matcha, whose Ti Freeze ability was upgraded to 12 seconds. As long as it was Matcha’s ability, Project X would be able to replicate it.
However, when Zhao Yao used the Book’s Power Up Card to extend the lasting power of Ti Freeze from 12 to 120 seconds, Project X was unable to replicate this effect. Hence, Project X only had Matcha’s Ti Freeze ability and could not replicate the Book’s powers.
Bam! Landing one last punch on Project X, Zhao Yao had at this point used up 40 seconds of Ti Freeze, including the 12 seconds from earlier on.
When ti resud its flow, Project X only felt a sudden, extre pain in his body before he lost all feeling in his organs, blood and flesh, exploding in a cloud of blood and flesh.
"Despicable!!"
"After my Ti Freeze ended, his Ti Freeze actually continued to run?"
"Why did this happen? How did his Ti Freeze exceed 12 seconds?!"
Flas of anger raged in Project X’s heart at the thought of being bashed into pieces alive by a re human.
"Zhao Yao! I want to swallow you whole!"
Whoosh! In that instant when his physical body was battered into dust, the shadow beneath Project X’s feet contorted and shot out countless shadow spikes that reached for Zhao Yao’s shadow.
However, right at the mont Project X attacked, he saw a cute ragdoll cat in Zhao Yao’s arms.
"It’s that cat... d*mn it!!"
Project X’s vision blacked out as he erged from the shadows. However, Project X’s physique was far stronger than her powers, hence he imdiately awoke from the nap he fell into.
However, this tiny lag in ti was enough for Zhao Yao to activate Elizabeth’s controlling power as his eyes flashed red. Project X was immobilized on the spot, much to his astonishnt.
"One down." Zhao Yao sighed in relief but did not attack the Project X that was held in control imdiately. Instead, he shifted his attention elsewhere.
Just as he expected, once this Project X had been caught from the shadows, footsteps echoed through the passageway as three other Project X’s walked towards him.
Especially after seeing the last Project X, a murderous glint flashed across Zhao Yao’s eyes.
Three cats, Lightning, Fish Ball and Matcha, were held tightly in that Project X’s arms, unable to escape. However, judging from the three cats soulful eyes and expressions, their intelligence seed to be intact.
"So he caught Lightning, Fish Ball, and Matcha?" Zhao Yao frowned slightly. Although he was very happy that the three cats appeared unhard, he was puzzled as to why Project X did not just take away their intelligence.
"If I’m Project X, even if I don’t kill my opponents, I would want to rob them of their abilities and intelligence and turn them into normal cats. So why is this happening? Or is he trying to threaten ?"
The three Project Xs walked over and stared at Zhao Yao at the sa ti, "Zhao Yao, your capabilities were indeed beyond my expectations. However the attack you did during the Ti Freeze just now, how many tis can you continue doing that? If you can kill one of my doppelgangers each ti you did that, how many of can you continue to kill?"
Another Project X continued, "And this targeted controlling superpower. It can only control one cat at a ti right?"
As they said that, the two Project Xs had slowly advanced forward, flanking Zhao Yao on both sides.
"Elizabeth, don’t strike first, I will test the capabilities of these doppelgangers first," Zhao Yao told Elizabeth telepathically as he narrowed his eyes, controlling the Project X that he had subdued as they moved towards the other two Project Xs.
In an instant, the two doppelgangers of Project X and the Project X that was being controlled by Zhao Yao fought against him. The three cats and one man scuffled amidst howling blows as intense energy crossed between them. Huge chunks of walls broke apart, stirring shock and fear amongst the supercats that were watching the battle from the side.
However, Zhao Yao was more shocked than any of them.
"The fighting power of these two doppelgangers are about the sa as the Project X in the Ti Freeze previously."
"No, they’re actually slightly stronger. Is it because of the training ability?"
"But, how exactly did he do it? Can each doppelganger be as strong as his actual self?"
"No, fighting them head-on like this won’t work. Fighting each doppelganger head-on like this is too much a waste of ti and energy. It’s impossible to kill Project X like this, especially since his body is constantly evolving."
Between blows, Project X smiled and taunted, "What’s wrong? Feeling hopeless? Do you understand how undefeatable I am now? You’re a re human. How could you win against ?"
Bam! As they exchanged blows, Project X rely retreated a few steps while Zhao Yao was sent flying out more than hundreds of ters.
As Zhao Yao flew out, Project X activated Ti Freeze again.
Looking at the immobilized Zhao Yao, Project X’s lips curled into a smile.
"Your strongest point is also your weakness," Project X slowly walked up to Zhao Yao. Looking at his immobilized body, he said calmly, "Matcha’s Ti Freeze ability lasts as long as its lasting ti. Although I don’t know how you managed to extend the duration of the Ti Freeze, you showed that your Ti Freeze lasts longer than mine."
"12 seconds have passed. I can still activate Ti Freeze again, but you?"
The next mont, both Project Xs stood to the left and right of Zhao Yao in a flash. They extended their paws, pressing on Zhao Yao’s face and chest.
Slaughter’s laser beam ability was activated and white blasts of high-energy laser beams shot out from the paws of both Project Xs, blasting his face rcilessly. The laser beams reached thousands of degrees in temperature as they spread out instantly, enveloping Zhao Yao’s body entirely.
