Another May day arrived, and Tang Fangjing awoke early as usual, nodding as he reviewed his nearly finished legal almanac, concluding that today wasn't suitable for filing a suit.

Old Ge had inford him yesterday that the relevant surveillance investigation was complete, but within the specified tis, only three instances of bullying were found.

That didn't matter much; they didn't need two instances, just one surveillance video was enough to prove it.

To prove that this school bullying was long-term, a persistent issue!

This was not just about Liu Yan's right to self-defense, but also about reasoning with those little beasts. Obviously, now only the law could reason with them.

The prosecution review results from the Procuratorate ca quickly, and Old Tang initially thought the parent might pull so tricks, like posting it online or sothing, but surprisingly they did nothing of that sort.

At Jingzhou City's First Hospital, Guan Qiaolian was on the phone.

"Prosecutor Deng, what I told you is true. Ever since my son was hospitalized, they haven't visited once, haven't given a penny, nor uttered a word of apology!"

"Right, how can I give forgiveness then, the other three families are the sa. Last ti we t, their lawyer was even talking about claiming self-defense."

On the phone, Prosecutor Deng Hui replied, "Okay, I've got the situation, let's leave it at that for now."

After hanging up, Guan Qiaolian made her way back to the ward. Ever since the Procuratorate delivered the indictnt to the victims' families, they had been in constant contact with Prosecutor Deng.

The main issue was that of forgiveness, which was also one of the reasons Guan Qiaolian had not posted anything impulsively online.

The other reason for not doing so was that no matter how those videos were edited, there were always clips of her son slapping others. Although Guan Qiaolian thought it was normal for children to scuffle, she felt it wasn't appropriate to post online.

That's why she hadn't posted anything. If it weren't for these issues, Guan Qiaolian would have taken to the internet long ago.

Her child was still in intensive care, yet the other child's parents hadn't shown up at all, hadn't paid a di, nor said a word of apology, and that would definitely have attracted a lot of attention.

Shaking her head, she walked back to the ward. Her son had already moved out of intensive care and into a regular ward a few days prior and was currently playing mobile gas there.

"Zixin, stop playing now. The doctor said you need to rest more, you know?" Guan Qiaolian approached with a gentle face, completely different from the scolding deanor she often displayed to others.

However, Li Zixin on the bed roared back, "Will you ever stop nagging? Can't I play just a little while I'm bored and lying here? It's so annoying!"

Guan Qiaolian quickly said, "Alright, alright, then play a little longer. Mommy is just worried about your health."

Li Zixin, who had just turned sixteen this year, was really irritable, with waves of fear still washing over him.

He never imagined that the girl, who seed as ek as a rabbit on normal days, would dare to stab him with a knife, nearly ending his life!

Li Zixin didn't think he had done anything wrong; if his "girlfriend" Zhao Lingling disliked soone, of course, he would take her side.

After all, she was the one "asking for it."

Many junior high students who don't fit in are often deed too "arrogant" and in need of a lesson...

That's why so things in junior high can seem so inexplicable.

"Mom, didn't you say that Liu Yan and her parents would definitely co to apologize and seek our forgiveness? It's been several days, and they haven't co," Li Zixin suddenly put down his phone and exclaid.

"Mom just asked the Procuratorate again. If the other side wants lenient treatnt, they need our forgiveness letter. So, son, rest assured, they will co. They can't get away with hurting you like this without an apology and compensation," said Guan Qiaolian.

Li Zixin fell silent, his expression twisting. Although he didn't feel he was wrong, he was scared.

Despite his claims of being fearless in fights, it's typically the quiet, reserved ones who end up doing sothing drastic.

Not just Li Zixin, Zhao Lingling's family, and the other two already discharged from the hospital were all waiting for Liu Jianguo to show up, to no avail.

At this ti, Tang Fangjing received another call from the prosecutor, asking him to visit the Procuratorate again.

Old Tang naturally went without hesitation. It was close, and he arrived in minutes on his small electric scooter.

But upon arrival, the first thing they asked about was the forgiveness letter.

"Prosecutor Deng, I won't be dealing with the forgiveness letter. You've seen the evidence, you know what those children did before. They got what they deserved!" Tang Fangjing stated outright.

Deng Hui frowned again, "Lawyer Tang, I shouldn't interfere with your defense work, but do Liu Yan's parents know about this?"

Old Tang nodded, "They are very clear about it and have entrusted the case to . So, Prosecutor Deng, there definitely won't be a forgiveness letter."

Deng Hui didn't know what to say. Tang Fangjing seed as stubborn as a mule; was this how criminal defense was supposed to be conducted?

Having been a public prosecutor for a long ti and having seen many criminal lawyers, he had never co across one like this.

Because it was rare for criminal lawyers to commit to actions that burned all bridges behind them, especially when there was the option of exemption from criminal punishnt.

Although the Procuratorate's sentencing recomndations weren't always followed by the court, usually, the prosecution held more sway in court than the defense.
