Yuan Ming's brows were tightly furrowed, his heart clear that relying solely on the power of the Blood-colored Giant Elephant would not be enough to break through the Great Array.
"Fellow Daoist Yuan, the force of space here is solidified, and only the Sky-reaching Demon Pillar can break through it. If you can control the Sky-reaching Demon Pillar the mont it breaks open and retract it, perhaps there won't be a big issue," Qi Ye's voice rang out in his Sea of Consciousness.
Yuan Ming sighed inwardly, knowing that Qi Ye was right and that there was no other choice at the mont.
Made up his mind, he no longer suppressed the Sky-reaching Demon Pillar but instead opened his Storage Bag, granting it freedom.
In the next instant, a dark light shot out from the Storage Bag, heading straight for the Great Array without any need for Yuan Ming's encouragent, its body flickering with light, and it plumted into the solidified void ahead.
One after another, the patterns on the Sky-reaching Demon Pillar lit up, emanating a Forbidden Breaking power, and the solid void in front of it, substantial as reality, disintegrated rapidly as if encountering its natural nesis.
"Crack, crack," sounds of fracturing filled the air as the wrinkled void began to reveal a network of semi-transparent fissures crisscrossing each other.
After a mont's stalemate, the solidified space shattered imdiately.
The Sky-reaching Demon Pillar, like it had punctured the sky itself, tore a gap in the void and charged straight for that Blood-colored Giant Eye.
At the sa ti, from all directions, black Demonic Qi surged forth, gathering ceaselessly toward the Sky-reaching Demon Pillar and gradually forming a black vortex around it.
A "humming" vibration emanated continuously from the Sky-reaching Demon Pillar. Along with its trembling, within the Blood-colored Giant Eye, the black "vertical pupil" began to split open at a speed visible to the naked eye.
The opening of the passage quickened.
At that mont, a claw covered in black Scale Armor suddenly reached out from the black fissure, seemingly attempting to grab the soaring Sky-reaching Demon Pillar.
"Not good!"
Yuan Ming's pupils suddenly contracted, and with a thought, he surged forth all the power within his body without reservation.
Wrapped in the Blood-colored Giant Elephant, he surged forward with great speed, leveraging its massive body to beat the Sky-reaching Demon Pillar to the punch, crashing into the Blood-colored Giant Eye.
With a "boom," a trendous noise erupted, and a huge burst of blood-colored brilliance exploded from the Blood-colored Giant Eye. A large Blood Mist stead up into the sky, forming a Blood Cloud that surged and spread, the shockwaves rolling out to a hundred miles around.
Gales, sharp as knives, swept through in all directions, cutting down trees on the peak and halfway up the mountain, whipping up countless fragnts of smoke and dust, floating in the air, hanging there for a long mont without falling.
The Cloud Desolate Alliance cultivators and the last resisting Wu Yue Sect mbers, still engaged in battle at the foot of the mountain, were all startled by this earth-shaking tremor. They stopped fighting involuntarily, their faces filled with panic as they looked toward Chaotian Peak.
The peak was still a chaotic ss, nothing could be seen clearly.
But everyone knew that whether the Shura-like slaughter would co to an end depended entirely on the outco there.
After a ti, from the chaotic peak, there ca an extrely pleasing female voice.
The voice was not loud, yet it carried a powerful Divine Soul Power that penetrated directly into everyone's Sea of Consciousness, shaking their spirits:
"The Demon Array is destroyed!"
The rolling sound waves reverberated in the Sea of Consciousness of the crowd continuously, crushing the last bit of hope of all Wu Yue Sect followers and their affiliates. They were thoroughly defeated.
Thus, with the exception of the Yin Corpse Puppets who were still fighting fiercely, the remaining followers and traitors who had followed the Wu Yue Sect began to flee or to surrender, completely reduced to pigs and dogs at the rcy of others.
The Cloud Desolate Alliance mbers, without ti to cheer, took full control of the situation.
At the summit in the chaotic currents, Yuan Ming sat down on the ground, depleted. He glanced at the fallen Sky-reaching Demon Pillar and finally let his heart rest a little.
After Xi Ying made her announcent, she was also hurriedly rushing towards him.
However, as soon as her gaze fell upon Yuan Ming, her expression drastically changed, and she shouted sharply:
"The magic is gone, the Soul Power dissipated."
She had already expended much from the fierce battle, and after using two word spells in succession, she suddenly turned pale, a sharp pain shooting through her head.
But she could not afford to pay attention to these issues at the mont; she pushed herself towards Yuan Ming with all her might.
Yuan Ming was half a beat slower to react, but he too sensed sothing was amiss. By the ti he wanted to defend himself, it was already too late.
From the void where the Blood-colored Giant Eye had vanished, a black crack appeared out of thin air, and from it, a grey shadow dashed out, closing in on Yuan Ming with the swiftness of thunder, not leaving ti to cover one's ears.
As Xi Ying shouted the word spell and Yuan Ming raised his arm, the grey shadow collided with Yuan Ming's body.
With a "puh" sound, the grey shadow shattered upon impact, dissolving into a shimring grey light, while Yuan Ming, as if struck by thunder, stiffened violently. Blood stread from his eyes, ears, mouth, and nose, and he tilted to the side, collapsing to the ground.
Xi Ying, shocked, rushed to Yuan Ming's side and caught him. She quickly realized his pupils were dilated, clearly having suffered a severe trauma to his Divine Soul.
She hastily examined him and was imdiately shocked to discover that Yuan Ming's Three Souls and Seven Spirits were shaking violently, as if they were about to crumble and collapse at any mont.
Yuan Ming's trauma to his Divine Soul was identical to that suffered previously in the Shura Palace, but the extent of the damage was clearly far more severe.
Xi Ying had no idea what had injured Yuan Ming, and there was no ti to investigate at the mont. She only knew that if she didn't act quickly, Yuan Ming's life would likely be lost.
At the critical mont, she raised her hand and wielded it, an octagonal compass flying out, landing on the ground and lighting up, transforming into a purple light array spanning over ten zhang, which enveloped both of them like a canopy.
Xi Ying supported Yuan Ming to sit down cross-legged, while she herself sat opposite him, their bodies close to each other.
A blush crossed her cheeks, and a hint of constraint passed through her eyes, but her movents were not the least bit delayed.
Xi Ying leaned forward slightly, pressing her snow-white forehead gently against Yuan Ming's, feeling his sowhat confused breathing, her heartbeat suddenly beca a little erratic.
Although this was not their first ti in such close contact, Xi Ying still couldn't erase a trace of embarrassnt from her heart.
After all, the last ti they employed Xiao Ying's body, but this ti it was her own.
However, she quickly steadied her mind, a vast soul power erged from between her eyebrows, forming delicate threads with glimring points of light that slowly extended into Yuan Ming's Sea of Consciousness.
Their divine souls connected, and their soul powers rged.
Yuan Ming dreamt again.
He once again dreamt that his divine soul had freed itself from the confines of his physical body and entered that vast, white space.
The wind there was light and brisk, the water warm and gentle, like the tides' ebb and flow, ceaselessly whispering over and cleansing his divine soul, rescuing him from the pain of tearing and shattering.
But this ti, he was not passively receiving the nourishnt and purification from this space.
As his divine soul gradually stabilized, all the pain subsided, and a delightful joy overwheld him.
Imrsed in it, he did not beco obliviously joyful because, within this strange space, he felt an incredibly familiar presence that irresistibly attracted him, leading him to seek it out.
In the dream, his gaze scanned left and right, but the surroundings were shrouded in thick mist, preventing him from seeing clearly.
The more Yuan Ming wanted to see things clearly, the heavier the mist beca, as though deliberately obstructing him.
"Why insist on blocking my view?" Yuan Ming couldn't help feeling a surge of irritation.
With this emotion rising, the fluctuation of his soul power suddenly beca intense, and the warm waters around him seed to be affected, boiling and steaming instantly.
"Yuan Ming, calm your mind and nurture your nature, do not act recklessly," Xi Ying's voice suddenly rang out as if originating from Yuan Ming's Sea of Consciousness.
Her words alone quieted Yuan Ming.
As he settled down, the chaos around him also subsided.
Yuan Ming composed himself, looking forward, he saw the mist gradually thinning until a graceful figure erged before him.
How vain it is for cloud to obscure the eyes, when one is in the midst of the mountains.
Once the clouds dispersed, Yuan Ming saw Xi Ying at a glance, with her long black hair draped over her shoulders, her body bare, her skin lustrous as jade, her eyes subtly glowing, resembling a fairy bathing, spring beauty unfolded before the world.
With just one glance, Yuan Ming's heart seed to stop beating, and he could no longer divert his eyes.
"Focus, this is the true form of our divine souls; I, I… am healing you," realizing Yuan Ming's gaze, Xi Ying's voice was sowhat stiff in her reminder.
Yuan Ming, however, didn't take it in at all. For a mont, he felt as if his mind had exploded, his mind in a tumultuous ss, all emotions rushing to his heart at once.
"When I see the green mountains, I am utterly enamored. Surely, the green mountains regard in the sa way," he thought nonsensically of his own past poetry. Thi^s c o.ntent is p-res^e$n-te&d by M4$VL E*M.PY&R.&
It seed like a murmur to himself, yet also a query.
"Indeed," the voice of Xi Ying sounded, soft yet sincere.
"Haha..."
Yuan Ming heard clearly, and in that mont, he felt that such contentnt was all one could wish for in life.
In the next instant, his thoughts beca clear, and his divine soul achieved perfect harmony with Xi Ying's, guided and nourished by her Word Witch powers, finally taking that difficult step forward.
A small storm suddenly arose in his Sea of Consciousness, and his Divine Soul Power began to run wildly.
Yuan Ming felt empty, an indescribable emptiness, as if his Sea of Consciousness was a bottomless pit, filled with an insatiable void.
At that mont, he needed a substantial amount of Divine Soul Power to fill that emptiness.
Xi Ying abruptly opened her eyes and saw that Yuan Ming was breaking through his shackles, starting to assault the Word Witch Realm, and her heart was at first filled with imnse surprise and then endless worry.
The last ti she broke through to the Word Witch Realm, it was the Pure Will Power within the White Jade Lotus Platform that filled the void and led to her advancent.
But that was after Yuan Ming unknowingly accumulated for how long, refined and condensed into pure power, which she exhausted. Up until now, not much had been accumulated.
The situation was urgent now. If Yuan Ming's Sea of Consciousness did not quickly get the soul power it needed, his path to the Word Witch Realm would be severed, and his Sea of Consciousness would likely collapse, eventually turning into a pitiful soulless man.
