"Lucas!" called Ellena once again in an even tone.
"Yes, Dear?" Lucas answered as he leaned his head towards the bathroom door.
"Please don't call that. I don't like it!" Ellena protested behind the bathroom door. "I really need your help. Can you help ?" asked Elena doubtfully.
Lucas smirked. He thought, God is very good for giving him the opportunity to make Ellena's defenses collapse in an instant.
It wasn't about Lucas wanting sothing from Ellena. However, Lucas felt that he had won, because finally Ellena begged him for help. Previously, Ellena had always avoided and seed to dislike being around him. In fact, it seed like Ellena didn't need him.
Lucas didn't like Ellena's attitude like that, because he felt that she had lowered his self-esteem. Yet all this ti, not a single woman dared to refuse his charm. In fact, even though he was cold to the won, they were even more trying to catch up. However, not with Ellena who constantly evades and refuses to be near him.
This ti, without Lucas asking, Ellena herself begged him for help. It was enough to make Lucas happy and excited to serve the woman. It seed that she had to take this opportunity to prove that Ellena needed her figure.
"How can I help you, Elle?"
"I-I forgot to bring towels and a change of clothes. Can you help get them in my room?" Ellena said very nervously, even though her conversation with Lucas was blocked by the bathroom door.
Lucas lifted the corner of his mouth. It seed, he was interested in flirting with Ellena again.
"Sorry, Elle, looks like you asked the wrong person for help," Lucas replied nonchalantly.
Ellena, who was still standing behind the bathroom door naked, was suddenly wide-eyed because she received a negative response from Lucas.
"Co on, Lucas . . . I really need those clothes. Do you want to see forever in this bathroom? Or are you trying to freeze to death on purpose?" Ellena pleaded hopefully. Only Lucas can help him this ti. However, she was disappointed in Lucas' attitude towards her.
"All right, Elle." Lucas leaned his head against the bathroom door.
Lucas' answer managed to make Ellena smile. However, that smile faded again when he heard Lucas' next words.
"But there are conditions," Lucas added later.
Ellena was flabbergasted. It seed, she already knew how cunning Lucas was. In fact, even the smallest thing was used as an opportunity by the man. That's the reason she doesn't want to depend too much on her annoying husband.
Ellena sneered, before finally a curse escaped her mouth. "Damn it! As I thought, that guy must be looking for a chance in a pinch!" she softly growled.
"How about it, Elle, are you ready?" Lucas tried to confirm that while Ellena was still motionless, he didn't respond.
Ellena huffed in annoyance. This ti she was at a loss as to what to do. Accept Lucas' offer or not. However, there was no other choice, if she wanted to get out of the bathroom imdiately. After all, her two in-laws would be suspicious if they found out that she had been in the bathroom for too long.
"What should I do, Lucas?" asked Ellena curiously.
"My request is very simple, Elle. You only need to sleep in my room every night," Lucas replied, grinning incessantly.
"Are you crazy, huh?" Ellena imdiately cursed Lucas when she got an answer that was enough to make her furious. "No! I don't agree!" he insisted then.
"Okay, if you don't agree. I can't seem to help you. Sorry, Elle."
Lucas deliberately wanted to make Ellena even more panicked in the bathroom. He knew that only he could help Ellena this ti. Of course he would not give up so easily until Ellena was willing to agree to the conditions he gave.
Lucas really wanted to tease Ellena. However, regarding the conditions he gave, it was real. For so reason he wanted so badly to be able to sleep in the sa room with Ellena as long as they lived together as husband and wife, even though they weren't doing anything like a real husband and wife.
There was a sense of comfort, after last night sleeping with Ellena in the sa bed. His sleep was quiet. He didn't even dream of the figure of Selena who almost every night disturbed his sleep. It was as if Ellena had beco an angel for the pain she suffered every night.
Selena's infidelity is always present in every dream, making her have to accept pain every night. It was very obvious. However, not when Ellena's presence beside him. The nightmare no longer disturbed his sleep last night. He hopes that with Ellena who continues to accompany him to sleep, the images and dreams about Selena will slowly disappear from the mory of his brain.
There is a saying that the most powerful way to forget soone is to bring soone new into your life. Maybe that would work for Lucas too, though he wouldn't necessarily be able to unite with Ellena in the end.
That was the only reason why he put that condition on Ellena. Once Ellena's conditions were agreed, he would not be able to take advantage of the situation, for things that Ellena could not accept. Because he is not a coward who can only take advantage of the situation without the direct consent of the person concerned.
Even so, he would not remain silent, if Ellena had truly succeeded in shaking his heart and soul. He would do anything to bring Ellena to her knees, if that was the case. In fact, he wouldn't care about Ellena's lover.
Regarding falling in love, it seems Lucas hasn't experienced that with Ellena. However, it was undeniable that Ellena had already managed to attract his attention. There weren't many won that Lucas could be attracted to. And when that happened, Lucas certainly wouldn't just let it go.
"Lucas, aren't there any other conditions, apart from that?" Ellena tried to persuade Lucas to give conditions that did not burden her heart.
"No, Elle. If you don't want to, I'm fine." Lucas tried not to laugh. He imagined Ellena's current face, it seed like it would be very cute and adorable if he saw her in person.
Ellena thought for a mont. It was unlikely that he would succeed in persuading Lucas. She knew for sure the consistent attitude of her forr boss. Never once did she find Lucas being inconsistent about sothing that had already been decided. Maybe it will also apply to the conditions that the man has given her. So, it seed like it would be pointless trying to persuade Lucas, because it would just be a waste of ti.
"Okay." Ellena crouched languidly behind the bathroom door. However, not with Lucas who actually smiled broadly at that answer.
"But you have to promise not to touch at all. Rember, I already have a loyal lover waiting for . I can't possibly betray him. Do it according to the agreent we signed!" said Ellena.
Suddenly Lucas' smile clouded over again. For so reason she didn't like hearing Ellena ntion her lover. However, he didn't really want to care about that. At least, he had managed to get Ellena to agree to his terms.
"You don't have to worry, Elle.. I won't forget that."
