"Hello, my daughter-in-law!" Veronica imdiately rushed to hug Ellena, and vice versa. Ellena returned the hug of her mother-in-law. It didn't last long, they stretched their bodies again, giving them a little distance.
Ellena then kissed Veronica's hand like a child to her mother. "Mommy, how are you? Did Mommy just co here alone?" asked Ellena with a friendly smile.
"Mommy is fine, Honey. By the way, daddy is still in the office. Maybe he will co here later, after coming ho from work. How are you?" Veronica asked back.
"As Mommy can see, I'm healthy. How could I not be fine, while Lucas is very care about ," Ellena answered simply. In fact, she was utterly disgusted by what she had just said in front of her mother-in-law. In reality, Lucas had always been arrogant. However, she still believed that Lucas was a good person.

"But you have a doubtful look on your face, Elle. Are you lying?" Veronica confird when she saw doubt on Ellena's face.
"It's not a doubt, Mom, but a sha." Ellena dodged with a small laugh. "Ah, we shouldn't have talked about Lucas," she added, acting awkwardly as if to prove his point.
"Why should you be ashad? Isn't he your husband?" Veronica asked teasingly.
"Ah, Mommy. Co on, don't talk about him. Mommy's better sit down, I'll get Mommy a drink," Ellena pleaded.
"No need, Elle. You're a director's wife, so you shouldn't act like a maid in this house. Let Joana prepare everything, you stay here with Mommy." Veronica shook her head slowly. It seed that she really didn't want to, if she saw Ellena doing the work that the maid in the house was supposed to do.

In just 3 minutes, Ellena had returned with a brown wooden tray. On the tray, there are two glasses of orange juice and a plate of homade chocolate brownies. Ellena served the drink and cake to Veronica happily.
"Mommy should taste my cake, maybe Mommy will like it," said Ellena, placing the cake in front of Veronica, right next to the glass of drink she also served her mother-in-law.
"You made this cake yourself, Elle?" Veronica asked looking at Ellena in disbelief.
'How can a woman as beautiful as Ellena who has such a well-grood body be so good at cooking and baking? Did she spend her youth on such things? What a wonderful woman! Lucas was not wrong to choose Ellena as his wife. Don't most won her age prefer to spend ti shopping and grooming?' So she thought.
Even though Ellena cos from a poor family, she has a beautiful face, fair skin and smooth. Her body does look very well-grood, even though she doesn't actually do regular maintenance. In fact, during her lifeti, she could probably count the number of tis she had treatnt at a salon because it was so rare.
Unlike other won her age who are willing to spend money just for treatnts at the salon, Ellena prefers to use the money to support her family. Regarding physical appearance, it is not sothing that should be a priority.
"Yes, Mommy," Ellena replied as she landed her body on the single sofa, right besaid to Veronica.
"You are very different from other won, Elle. Mommy is proud to have a daughter-in-law like you. You are friendly, humble, diligent and good at cooking. Lucas will definitely feel at ho because he has a wife like you." Veronica never stops praising Ellena. Her gaze is gloomy. She felt so touched to have such an amazing daughter-in-law like Ellena.
"Ah, Mommy praises too much. Everyone has their own strengths, Mommy. For this, anyone can do it, as long as there is a will." Ellena flashed a smile while looking at Veronica's face happily.
Instantly Veronica rembered the figure of Selena who was spoiled and happy to waste Lucas' money on useless interests. Very inversely with Ellena's character. She thought, she was very lucky because Lucas canceled his marriage to Selena and chose Ellena as his wife.
Even though Veronica doesn't really know Ellena's real life, she still believes that Ellena cos from a good family. She believes that with the end of Lucas' relationship with Selena, behind it God has planned good things for his son.
"Tell , if Lucas hurts you. Mommy won't let him hurt a good woman like you!" Veronica said suddenly.
Hearing that statent, Ellena's eyes beca teary. She was touched that she had in-laws as good as Veronica who cared so much for her. In fact, Veronica's statent this ti defended her more than Lucas.
Again Ellena smiled. However, this ti her smile looked very moved. "I believe that Lucas is a good person, he could not have the heart to hurt ," said Ellena softly and seriously.
"Why are you so sure?" Veronica looked up questioningly.

God will surely unite a good person with a good person, and vice versa.. Like Ellena and the Lucas family, they are good people, in contrast to Selena and Stevan who are both bad.
