Chapter 196 – YOUR’E TOO MUCH
"Tell where Ellena's house is!"
Adley's voice broke so loud it deafened several pairs of ears in the room.
Both Lucas and Adley, they really couldn't stand Richard's uncooperative attitude in this matter. Richard should have known that Lucas had rights over his wife.
It was only natural that Adley would be angry about this. Anyone would have done the sa thing if they were in that position, and Richard was no exception.
"I'll take you to Patricia's house myself!" said Richard with a heavy heart.
Yes, there is no other choice. It was all he could do to save his corporate office. Even if he allowed Lucas' bodyguards to search his office, they wouldn't necessarily be satisfied. Can't imagine if she fell prey to that man until Ellena was found.
Yes, of course Richard believed that Lucas and Adley wouldn't let him run away in the matter, until Ellena was actually found. They would always chase after him, wherever Richard went.
"What are you waiting for?" Lucas snapped when he realized that Richard was silent.
"You don't have to scream like that!" Richard replied not wanting to lose.
"You forced , you bastard! If only you could cooperate well from the start, maybe we wouldn't have to argue like this! Just watch out, if I don't find Ellena, I'll kill your life!"
Again Lucas threatened. However, only a frustrated sigh escaped Richard's mouth.
"Follow !"
Richard left the place and was imdiately followed by Lucas and four other n.
"Wait!"
As they had just passed several employees who seed to be lined up by the door, Lucas' shrill voice echoed through the air. It suddenly made the four n behind him stop in their tracks, even with Richard walking in front of him.
Lucas turned to face the four n who were beside him.
"Check all their cellphones and don't forget to check the CCTV footage in this room!" Lucas ordered emphatically, not caring about Richard who was getting more and more furious at his actions.
"Yes, Sir!"
Alex and Lucas' two bodyguards imdiately launched their action. Checking one by one the cellphones belonging to employees who witnessed the argunt between their superiors and Richard. Of course they understand the intent and purpose of the boss giving such an order.
"Shit! Do you have to do that?" Richard imdiately approached and directed a scornful look at Lucas' face.
"Unfortunately, I'm not a fool, Richard! I'll make you completely immobile. So don't you ever dare to play with , because once you make a mistake, I certainly won't let you breathe free air!" Lucas replied in a low but emphatic tone.
Lucas didn't want any evidence of his argunt with Richard going public. That's why he didn't want to rush away from the place, before making sure that no footage or any evidence could be circulated to the mass dia to successfully defa him.
After Alex and Lucas' two bodyguards managed to check the cellphones one by one and confird that there wasn't a single piece of evidence that could get their boss into big trouble, they imdiately checked the CCTV footage according to instructions from Richard's employee.
Without wanting to leave any traces in the office, Alex and Lucas' two bodyguards asked the operator who was watching the CCTV footage to delete the scene from Richard's room.
"You're too much, Lucas!" Suppose Richard felt defeated, even though he could use the tape as evidence if at any ti he wanted to report Lucas to the authorities.
Yes, of course he could do that and bring Lucas to court on charges of disturbing other people's comfort. However, damn. Again his hopes were dashed when there was not a single piece of evidence that could help him.
"I'll only do bad things to bad people, Richard! You're wrong to have ssed with !" Lucas replied still not wanting to budge. Yes, why succumb to a figure who actually makes him very illfeel.
After confirming that the conditions were safe enough, Lucas and the four n behind him imdiately left the office, following in the footsteps of Richard who was walking in front of him.
Not wanting to be fooled again, even Lucas didn't leave Richard alone in his car. He purposely sent Robert to accompany the man until he reached his destination.
"You really don't trust to have to send your bodyguard to co in the car with ?" Richard snapped after he sat in the back seat of the wheel. However, suddenly Robert ca in and sat beside him. Richard was standing beside his car, grinning triumphantly.
Of course Richard did not accept Lucas's treatnt which was too excessive according to him, even though he also couldn't run away.
Yes, how could he dare to do that, when his own life was in danger. It was tantamount to seeking death.
"Just do as I ask. I'm not one to be fooled by a cunning guy like you!" Lucas sneered as he bowed slightly, staring into the car through the perfectly open car window.
"Damn it!" Richard cursed while hitting the steering wheel, then he forced the engine to start and imdiately drove away, ignoring Lucas who was still standing beside his car.
As fast as lightning Alex, who was ready to start the engine, imdiately accelerated his action and then stopped the car right in front of Lucas. He quickly caught up with Richard's car, after Lucas got into the car.
anwhile, behind the car Alex was driving, there was a black car that contained only one man, naly David.
The three cars drove hand in hand at high speed, splitting the highway that looked very busy with other vehicles passing by. The sound of the horn suddenly echoed in unison.
Alex and David certainly didn't want to lose the slightest trace of Richard's car, so anyone's car who dared to block him, even if it wasn't intentional, they imdiately gave a warning by pressing the horn button for a long ti.
In front of a small alley leading to Ellena's house, Richard pulled the car over. Even with Alex and David who also pulled the car there.
This imdiately surprised Lucas. He, who had been observing Richard's car, suddenly frowned when he found Richard getting out of his car at that place.
"Shit! Why did he stop here?" Lucas cursed still focusing his eyes on Richard.
Richard walked over to Lucas' car. Adley, who was sitting in the front, imdiately opened the window of his car. At the sa ti, Richard bent over, keeping up with the car's height.
"How long are you guys going to stay in the car?" Richard asked as if to code for Lucas and the other two n to get out of the car.
"Why do we have to get off here?" Adley asked, arching an eyebrow. "Shouldn't we go to Ellena's house?" he added later.
"You want to know where Patricia is?" Richard asked and then turned toward the path of the narrow alley.
"To get to the house, we have to walk through the narrow alley, about 100 ters," said Richard, pointing to the path.
"You want to fool again?" Lucas asked imdiately furious, as if he couldn't believe Richard's words. How could Ellena live in such a slum?
"It's up to you if you don't believe ." Richard replied nonchalantly.
"Obviously you need to know one thing, Patricia is in an economic crisis and she was forced to choose to live in this place. What kind of husband are you, letting your wife live in a place like this?" added Richard disdainfully.
"Even she doesn't even dare to leave her job, just to survive. You should thank , because of the many companies he has attended, only my company is willing to help him so that he can still survive until now." Richard's statent again angered Lucas.
The man's statent no doubt made Lucas's heart churned. Between sad and angry. He didn't know how to control the different feelings that ca at the sa ti. Is it true what Richard said that Ellena's life was that miserable?
"Don't talk too much, take there right now!" Lucas said as he tried to hide his sadness.
It didn't take long for Lucas and the others to get out of the car and follow where Richard's feet were going.
They walked hand in hand down the path to Ellena's house. Along the way, Lucas couldn't stop cursing because he found the road was uneven and almost tripped him several tis.
Can't imagine, every day Ellena walks back and forth on that road. What a poor wife.
Right in front of a modest rented house, Richard stopped in his tracks, with the five n behind him.
They watched the house for a while, right about five ters from where they were currently standing. The house is of course not luxurious, it's just that it's still livable. However, for Richard it was very pathetic. If only he had known, he certainly wouldn't have let Ellena and her mother live there.
Their feet swung toward the house, then Richard reflexively knocked on the brown door of the house in front of him.
nothing. Richard knocked repeatedly on the door, but no one answered at all, causing him to stare in wonder until soone's voice distracted him.
A middle-aged woman suddenly approached them, stating that Ellena and her mother had been taken away by two n since an hour ago.
"What?" Lucas and Richard asked at the sa ti.
Lucas' gaze instantly shifted to Richard. "You wanted to set up on purpose?"
